For the sake of rest, it is customary for adventurers to include at least a mid-day break between the last and the next quest.

It is also rare that the next appropriate quest can be found shortly thereafter, and it was only three days after our party completed its quest to exorcise Goblin.

Two of those days of "internal work" and deducting the cost of living from the rewards of goblin expulsion, the amount saved is roughly eleven gold coins.

Up to 700 pieces of gold, the target amount, are six hundred and eighty nine more pieces.

"─ Undead exorcism?

Satsuki returns from the outside in a sweaty state after a morning workout, wiping her sweat with a wet, squeezed cloth onto the dining room table.

Around wiping with my hands from my chest to the inside of my kimono, it is still eye poison, but there is no longer anything else than ignoring it because I don't listen where I said it.

By the way, there are three seats at that table, me and Mi and Cyril, first.

The three of us had just gone to the Adventurers Guild to find the right rank quest, or E-rank quest.

"Yes. They say the village, which is about half a day from the city, has been devastated at some point, and there's a massive outbreak of zombies there. The traders are in trouble, so they want us to get rid of them all."

"I'm scared! What? That scares me! You don't know why."

Satsuki leaks her candid thoughts to Mi's explanation.

And besides, it's Cyril who adds a sober analysis.

"The village was devastated, in itself, because the monsters attacked it. Whatever the cause may be. The problem is that the undead is happening there. Did the undead attack you and destroy you, or did the villagers who lost their lives for some reason undead you?"

Cyril then mouths further analysis so that she can sip the tea and then make Mi and Satsuki listen.

"There are two main causes of undead occurrence. One occurs naturally, the other is due to witchcraft. Natural occurrences rarely undead corpses that were not properly mourned by clerics, no further specific conditions are known. By witchcraft, there are two kinds of miracles used by evil gods (Evil Orders) and contraindicated witchcraft used by magicians (Mages) - so, does it fit?

So much so that Cyril turned her gaze towards me.

As a cleric (Holy Order) who is an expert in the exorcism of the undead, I guess he studies well on the undead. I could say accurate knowledge.

"Oh. It generally matches my perception. If I may add, there are various theories about the conditions at the time of natural occurrence, and some papers have announced that they will be published frequently at the time of specific conditions, but I've never really learned anything around them. If you go back to Lectre, the magic city, and fish the college library, you'll find a thesis..."

"Will's story is sometimes too hard to tell. - But I mean, you know, you don't know what's causing it."

It was summarised as Bassari by Satsuki.

"... well, it's generally not wrong. It's just a possibility that someone who's creating a zombie -- the presence of an evil god or a sorcerer -- should be kept within the bounds of the assumption."

"Then say so from the beginning. Yikes. I don't know what you're trying to say."

Satsuki wasted time.

I saw it, me and Cyril sighed at the same time.

I notice the synchronization, and Cyril laughs all the time, and she smiles at me with a kind of human nostalgia that I don't normally show.

"It's great to have someone to share the hard work with."

"Totally."

"What, what? Wait, why are you two giving me a good vibe?

Satsuki was confused when she saw me and Cyril.

Look at that and laugh when Cyril dulls again.

I was naturally smiling, too.

But unexpected attacks come from one more person on the spot.

"─ Hmm? Hey, Mi?

An animal girl pulls the hem of Cyril's clergyman's coat as hard as she can.

She said to Cyril in an up-and-coming manner as she moved her adorable cat ears.

"... Do Cyril also fall in love with color?

"Is...?

Cyril dyed her cheeks red and stiffened.

"Hey, why does that happen? We were just talking normally, weren't we?

"I felt something like that. It's quite a hit for Mi."

That's all Mi said, she just said she was done talking, and she went upstairs.

It was Cyril who was dropping him off with his mouth puckered behind him, but eventually he coughed up just one thing.

"It's that kid's mistake, never mind. I know you do, but for once."

That's what you said to me.

So let me be clear about my stance.

"Oh. I'm not going to do that here either"

"Oh, yeah....... so sure, that would be a little regrettable. It makes me wonder if I could turn him around."

I felt confident fangs and struggle glimpsed deep into the priestly girl.

Trouble, why would it be?

"What? Huh? Wait a minute, Cyril.... Seriously?

"I don't know, I don't know. Just one thing, I hate losing a lot."

So Cyril answered the rushing satsuki and soaked the tea again.
