Chapter 785: Michelle and the Others Plan to Leave Aisen Town
While Jiang Ran was cruising down the street in his newly acquired sports car.
Michelle, Chief Pete, and some German police officers.
They had already turned from the previous crime scene to the next one.
The next crime scene, where the two people were now located, was an orchard.
At the center of the orchard.
There lay a man and a woman, two corpses collapsed in a pool of blood.
The man and woman were in their twenties.
The male was a Hua Country person, an overseas student.
The woman was a French person, also an overseas student.
It seemed the two had taken a day off from classes to drive around Aisen Town.
Only to end up brutally killed in this orchard.
According to the coroner’s preliminary assessment, both had died from violent beatings.
The murder weapon was a claw hammer, which the killer had simply tossed beside the two corpses after using it.
It was believed that the killer could do this because no fingerprints or other key information would be found on that claw hammer.
The orchard owner was an old man in his sixties.
He didn’t usually visit the orchard and had an alibi for today.
Additionally, there were no surveillance cameras in this orchard.
And the orchard’s location was very remote; there didn’t seem to be any passersby nearby, nor anyone living in the vicinity.
“Another cold case. How many more people do those bastards have to kill before they’re satisfied?”
Chief Pete stared at the gruesome scene, his anger blazing. He clenched his teeth.
Michelle had just finished a circuit of the crime scene and returned.
After coming back, he said, “This couple should be quite wealthy. You can tell from the clothes they’re wearing.
I don’t recognize much, but that male student’s thick coat costs over three thousand euros, and the female student’s pair of shoes is over two thousand euros.
Besides that, the killer didn’t rob them.
Their phones, some cash in their wallets, bank cards, etc.—none of that seems to be missing.
As for sexual assault.
The male student shows no signs of being violated, and neither does that very pretty female student.
It seems the killer’s sole purpose was to simply murder these two people.

This time, Michelle didn’t disappear again but showed up right on time.
Once he appeared, the first thing he said to his apprentices was:
“I’ve made a decision. We’re stopping here in Aisen Town. Everyone can buy plane tickets and leave early. As for Stella, I’ve already contacted a medical team from America, and they’ll transfer him out tomorrow.”
This first statement left Bai Xiaoliang and the others stunned.
They were all wondering why their teacher had called them together, but the last thing they expected was to be told to leave.
After all, they hadn’t accomplished their purpose for coming here at all.
It was completely out of character for Michelle.
Michelle’s nature was to never turn back until the job was done.
But after the initial shock.
The black man was the happiest, even clapping on the spot: “Great! I’ve wanted to get out of here for a long time!”

With the notice given, the impromptu meeting came to an end.
Everyone left the room.
But Lucas, as he left, looked deeply troubled.
“Damn it. Why the sudden decision to leave? Could it be that because Stella ended up a vegetable, they’re afraid more of us might get hurt next?”
“No, I have to hurry those guys up and get moving.”
Lucas thought to himself as he returned to his room. Once inside, he couldn’t wait to pull out his Fruit Phone from his pocket and called the man he’d been in contact with.
The call was answered on the second try. The man asked what was up.
So Lucas said:
“I’ve helped you take care of three people total, that’s three lives. But you’ve only dealt with one for me, and that one might just end up a vegetable. Fine, let’s say that one is already a dead man. You still owe me two. I’m telling you now, my teacher and the others are getting ready to leave. You need to hurry up and make your next move.”
There was a moment of silence on the other end, then the man said:
“Can’t do it, friend. We’ve got something more important to do right now. Those two lives of yours will have to wait.”
“More important? What’s more important? I’m in a real hurry here! I checked the earliest flights back to America. They’re about three days from now. At most, we’ll be here for another day, then we might have to leave Aisen Town the day after and head to Munich to catch a plane. So, do you have anything on your end that’s more urgent than mine?”
“Hmm, sounds like you’re in a pretty tight spot. But haste makes waste. I have to finish my business here before I can help you. And don’t you want to hear what I’m planning to do?”
“Fine, then tell me what you’re planning.”
“Simple. We’re going to kill that Hua Country guy named Jiang Ran today. We’ve found out that guy is a real freak. One or two people alone can’t take him down, so we’re going to set a big trap for him. So, what do you think? Interested? Want to come help us out?”
When Lucas heard it was about killing Jiang Ran, he lost all interest. Although he wanted Jiang Ran dead too, he was more focused on wanting the others dead right now.
“Alright, just get rid of him tonight and don’t let him slip away again. Time after time, I don’t get it—are you guys in love with him or something? Always going easy on him.”
A chuckle came from the other end, and then the call ended.
Lucas paced around his room, extremely agitated.
