Great, It's the Pervy Neighbor. We're Doomed

Chapter 818: The Final Slaughter

Maybe what this woman said was true.

This man really was a tightwad.

Jiang Ran thought about it for a moment and figured it was possible, after all, back then the 20 million was to win him over.

If someone was still being stingy at a life-or-death moment, then he really was a Scrooge.

"Still, fortunately, the Black Passenger Plane game that Captain Tom cooked up was just to test human nature, and she didn't actually resort to violence in the end. Otherwise, I should've been blown away by a gun by now."

Right now, Jiang Ran was patting his chest with immense relief.

On the plane, after the game was declared over, Jiang Ran had been bracing himself for the feeling of being shot to death.

But the feeling never came. He opened his eyes and found the two flight attendants wearing Tom and Jerry masks still standing in place, completely motionless. So he started to wonder if Captain Tom didn't plan to deal with them on the plane, but rather after it landed.

When the plane touched down and they descended from first class to the ground, Jiang Ran had already decided to slip away unnoticed.

Weaving in S-curves to dodge bullets.

But an unexpected twist appeared.

It turned out this was just a test of human nature.

Looking at the twenty people in economy class—broken, devastated.

Jiang Ran couldn't imagine what they had gone through.

Especially since, if this twist hadn't appeared at the very end, it would've been one thing.

But now that this reversal had happened, Captain Tom's actions were like stabbing a knife into the hearts of these survivors.

Stabbing them and then pouring salt on the wounds.

Simply telling them that the one responsible for everything wasn't her—it was themselves for failing the test.

If they had withstood the trial, if they had resolved to die together rather than violate basic human morals by killing others to save themselves, then all of them could have lived.

Of course, Jiang Ran never expected to run into such a brutal, bloody real-life game.

"Alright, everyone, go collect your luggage. Once you've got your bags, you'll be taken by boat to leave this place."

Captain Tom's voice rang out again.

About half an hour later.

Jiang Ran and the other survivors all retrieved their belongings. Jiang Ran didn't have much—just one suitcase and a backpack slung over his shoulders.

After collecting their luggage, four female flight attendants led the way ahead, apparently directing them to walk to the pier where the boat was docked.

As he followed the flight attendants forward, Jiang Ran turned his head to look at the four unconscious first-class passengers.

What was going to happen to these four?

Still out cold.

Just then, the question was answered.

The middle-aged man from economy class who had been constantly questioning Captain Tom earlier.

It seemed like his mind had suffered some fatal shock.

He rushed to the front of the four first-class passengers.

And started kicking and stomping one of them viciously, as if this person had become his punching bag, his stress ball.

His actions triggered several other economy-class passengers to pounce on the four first-class passengers alongside him.

They vented their fury brutally on the four unconscious people.

Besides punching and kicking, they also kept cursing nonstop.

The curses were vile and covered everything imaginable, but mostly it was complaints about why these four didn't deserve to die—why they should have died!

The Hua Country man in his twenties was also being beaten. One of the bodyguards standing next to the woman in her twenties wanted to step in and stop it, but the woman waved her hand to hold him back.

"It's fine. Don't worry about him. He can die for all I care."

Hearing the woman's words, the bodyguard obediently retreated back into the crowd.

Walking along, he kept turning his head out of curiosity, while Jiang Ran focused his attention on those lying on the ground.

He genuinely felt sorry for those four. They thought they had barely survived, only to end up suffering this senseless calamity.

"Hey now, you people? Did I give you permission to harm other passengers after the game ended?"

Among the eight female flight attendants, four were leading the way and four remained on the spot. One of the four remaining held a phone from which Captain Tom's voice emerged.

The ones beating the four first-class passengers all stopped temporarily, turning in unison toward the phone. They thought their violent behavior must have been acceptable, since they had been at it for five or six minutes already.

"Fine, we'll stop."

After beating them for five or six minutes, their anger had subsided. Plus, with the beating they'd taken, if those four first-class passengers didn't receive timely medical treatment, they'd probably die anyway. So the middle-aged man said as much.

Then they all started jogging to rejoin the departing group.

Captain Tom's voice rang out again.

"You there. You broke the rules, and you think you can just walk away?"

Her cold, sneering words turned into an invisible giant hand pressing down on their bodies.

Their bodies instantly froze.

The middle-aged man turned back: "Then..."

Captain Tom answered him: "I know what you want to ask. Don't worry, the price for breaking the rules isn't much."

The middle-aged man and the others breathed a sigh of relief. But when they looked up again, they suddenly saw the four female flight attendants, their submachine guns raised, dark gun barrels aimed straight at them.

"You?!"

Before they could say anything more.

A burst of rattling gunfire.

In an instant, the middle-aged man and the others were turned into sieves.

The gunfire also made Jiang Ran's departing group all turn back in shock, then drop to the ground, clutching their heads.

Turning around, Jiang Ran saw those people shot full of bloody holes.

Then he heard Captain Tom say: "These four in first class won't survive either. Just kill them now. Saves me the medical bills."

With that, another burst of rattling gunfire.

Completely ended the lives of the four first-class passengers.

"Hiss..."

Jiang Ran inhaled the cold air around him deeply.

His eyes were bloodshot.

"Female demon. A pure, absolute female demon!"

He only thought this in his mind and dared not say it out loud.

...

The group walked for half an hour, leaving the airport and arriving at the edge of a pier on this Pacific island.

A large steamship was already waiting at the dock.

The ship appeared to have no other passengers.

Only some sailors.

Before Jiang Ran and the others boarded,

Captain Tom, using the phone of one of the female flight attendants escorting them, left them with one final message:

"Have fun, children!"

"I hope we can meet again someday!!!"

Jiang Ran didn't know about the others, but he certainly didn't want to see Captain Tom ever again.

Especially since, after this trip back, he might even be afraid to watch Tom and Jerry cartoons.

Once on board, everything seemed to return to normal.

They were all assigned rooms.

The ship also offered a self-service buffet and the chance to shower and change into clean clothes.

After what they had just been through on the plane,

Jiang Ran definitely didn't have much appetite, even though he had been hungry and thirsty for over a dozen hours.

He ate a little bit, showered, changed clothes, and then went out onto the deck to feel the sea breeze.

The wind was strong, and the sea was beautiful.

Just then, the long-legged blonde girl quietly appeared behind him, wanting to roleplay as Jack and Rose with him.
