Chapter 813: The White Young Man
The two Hua Country men and the two white men didn't end up fighting like Jiang Ran had expected. Instead, they stood face-to-face, communicating in some foreign language.
Jiang Ran couldn't understand a single word.
So he pulled out his phone, ready to translate and see what these four damn bastards were discussing.
But just then, a soft female voice suddenly reached his left ear.
The voice was pleasant to listen to, gentle and tender.
The female voice said, "Can't understand German? Let me translate for you. Looks like the four of them plan to cooperate—they want to kill everyone else in first class first, then fight among themselves to decide the final two spots."
Even though the female voice was quite nice, Jiang Ran still spun around in fright. When he turned, he found that long-legged blonde girl standing right behind him, smiling at him.
"You need to protect me."
The long-legged blonde girl clasped her hands behind her back, acting very ladylike as she spoke.
Jiang Ran said, "Protect you from what?"
The long-legged blonde girl said, "Those four bastards are filthy wicked. They said they'd kill all the men and keep me around to have some fun with first—assault first, then kill."
Jiang Ran sucked in a sharp breath of cold air.
Honestly, it wasn't surprising that those four would come up with that idea. After all, the long-legged blonde girl in front of him was indeed very tempting.
"Sorry, I can barely save myself, let alone you. I'll probably die before you do."
Jiang Ran said this with utter despair.
Then, he cursed the two Hua Country men in his heart: "Two beasts! Instead of taking out the foreign devils first, they ally with them to screw over their own people."
At that moment, the four of them seemed to have reached an agreement—a temporary alliance.
Jiang Ran noticed the four had stopped talking and were all staring at him at once. He couldn't help but take a step back. In that one step, he accidentally bumped into one of the female flight attendants guarding the door, the one wearing a black cat mask.
Jiang Ran quickly apologized, "Sorry! I didn't mean to! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"
Then he stepped forward a few paces.
He was genuinely afraid he wouldn't die at the hands of those four men but instead get shot by the female flight attendant.
Luckily, the female flight attendant didn't do anything to him. She just stood there like a statue.
When a person is nervous, they should take deep breaths—it can help regulate their emotions.
This was something teachers often told their students during exams.
Jiang Ran was currently in a state of extreme tension, his hands and feet trembling uncontrollably. So, remembering this bit of advice, he started taking deep breaths. Sure enough, it worked.
Once he had calmed down a little, he noticed out of the corner of his left eye that the long-legged blonde girl looked very composed—she was even chewing gum.
"How are you so calm? Aren't you scared?"
Jiang Ran was confused.
The long-legged blonde girl blew a big purple bubble from the gum in her mouth.
Then, the bubble popped, and she pulled it back into her fragrant mouth to chew again. "If being scared actually helped, I'd put on a very frightened expression right now."
Jiang Ran was speechless.
Speechless as he was, Jiang Ran still prepared himself for a fight—ready to get ruthless.
But deep down, he also had some confidence.
After all, he still had his alternate personality. If he really couldn't win, the alternate personality would come in and take over.
And so, Jiang Ran kept his eyes locked on the four people ahead.
However, the next moment, their attention suddenly shifted away from him.
They all focused on the last seat, the one where someone was still sleeping.
In that seat was a white young man, his back facing them.
This white young man was sleeping face up.
He wore a sleep mask and had noise-canceling earplugs in both ears.
Those two items ensured a good night's sleep.
Still, with such a huge incident happening on the plane, and all that commotion in first class just now, it was surprising that this white young man hadn't woken up.
And now, the four of them had their eyes fixed on him. Clearly, they intended to take out this sleeping man first.
"We two already dealt with one person. To keep things fair, it's your turn now. (German)"
One of the white men said.
The Hua Country man in his thirties and the Hua Country man in his twenties both nodded, showing no objection to this.
So, the two of them stepped forward, leaned in, and pressed the button. The partition door to this seat slowly slid open.
Once that red partition door was fully open, it would mark the death of this still-sleeping white young man.
The Hua Country man in his thirties and the Hua Country man in his twenties seemed to have no psychological burden about this. In fact, they were rubbing their hands together, eager to get started.
Jiang Ran, sitting in the first-row seat, saw their expressions and couldn't help but feel a question mark form in his mind.
Were these two people even normal?
Generally speaking, under the influence of modern education,
forget about killing a person—some people wouldn't even dare to kill a chicken or a duck. So why were these two acting so excited in a situation where they were forced to kill?
Were all rich people just psychological freaks?!
The partition door finally opened all the way.
Much like how the two white men had killed the Hua Country old man, the Hua Country man in his thirties and the Hua Country man in his twenties adopted the same method—direct strangulation. One would choke the neck to control the upper body, while the other would restrain the lower body and legs.
But just as they were about to make their move, a male voice suddenly rang out across the entire first-class cabin:
"This kind of real-life killing game—I always thought it was something you'd only see in novels, movies, or TV dramas. I never thought I'd actually encounter it in real life today."
The voice came from the white young man's seat.
What was somewhat shocking was that this white young man—he was awake?
Judging by the words he'd just said, no one knew how long he'd been awake, pretending to sleep.
But even more shocking was the fact that the words he'd just spoken were in Chinese.
And there wasn't even a trace of an accent—no different from a genuine yellow-skinned Hua Country person.
Just then, the white young man slowly straightened up from his seat.
First, he used both hands to remove the noise-canceling earplugs from his left and right ears at the same time.
Then, he took off the sleep mask from his eyes.
After removing it...
His appearance wasn't anything breathtakingly handsome.
He was a very ordinary-looking white young man.
"Your Chinese is pretty good, huh?"
The Hua Country man in his thirties wasn't flustered when he saw the white young man had woken up.
The white young man turned his head to look at him. "I am a Hua Country person. How could my mother tongue be anything but good?"
The Hua Country man in his twenties curled the corner of his mouth. "You're a Hua Country person? Hahaha... If you're a Hua Country person, then I'm a foreigner!"
The white young man shrugged. "Who says a Hua Country person has to look like a yellow-skinned person?"
The Hua Country man in his twenties was puzzled. "Oh, you mean you've taken Hua Country citizenship?"
The white young man started stretching his neck, shoulders, and waist.
"No, I've been a Hua Country person since birth."
