Chapter 810: A Bunch of Cunning Old Foxes
"Damn, it's so noisy, can't even get a decent sleep."
A Hua Country man in his twenties rubbed his eyes and crawled out from under his blanket.
The biggest pleasure of first class compared to the two cabins behind was the sheer space.
You could lie down and sleep.
From the fact that economy class on this plane had only one small window per seat, while first class had four small windows,
you could tell just how much bigger the space was.
After crawling out, he sat up, looking visibly displeased.
Then he pressed the call button.
He pressed it once, the chime rang once, but no flight attendant came.
This Hua Country man in his twenties furrowed his sleepy eyes.
First class had dedicated flight attendants for service. When you pressed the call button, a flight attendant would come immediately, not like in economy class behind.
So he pressed it again, but still no flight attendant came.
He was clearly getting annoyed, pressing it several more times—ding, ding, ding—with a hint of anger mixed in.
But still no flight attendant came, so he craned his neck outward:
"Hey! Where is everyone? Where did everyone go?"
His angry voice echoed through the quiet first-class cabin, but still nobody responded.
Finally, he couldn't take it anymore.
He opened the partition door of his seat, slipped on his slippers, and stepped out.
The moment he stood up and faced forward,
he froze.
Because he saw the two flight attendants wearing Tom and Jerry masks, and they were actually holding guns in their hands. They stood like guards at the entrance of the passageway ahead.
After a few seconds of stunned silence, he looked toward the passageway entrance behind him—no flight attendants stood guard there.
"Is it Halloween? Or April Fool's? Is this a hijacking?"
Standing there, he glanced at the other people in their seats.
He noticed two others were still sleeping, while the rest were already awake. Some were watching him, others were looking down, busy with who-knows-what.
This Hua Country man in his twenties still couldn't figure out what was happening. If this were a hijacking, he and the two sleeping passengers should have been woken up long ago.
Also, when he left his seat, the two masked flight attendants with guns should have warned him to sit back down or something.
If those two up front weren't hijackers and everything on the plane was normal, then he could clearly sense something off about first class.
So he wanted someone else in first class to tell him what was going on. Was everything fine, or was there a problem? But no one paid him any attention.
It seemed like none of the people in first class were fools. They were all quite scheming, wanting this freshly awakened Hua Country man in his twenties to act like a hot-headed fool, break the deadlock, make a scene, and preferably storm up to angrily confront the flight attendants and get himself shot.
That way, they'd have one less competitor.
"Hey, can someone tell me what's going on?"
This Hua Country man in his twenties walked forward, turning his head left and right as he kept asking, but still nobody answered him.
He kept walking until he reached the front row, where Jiang Ran sat on one side and the long-legged girl with golden hair sat on the other.
First, he tried to strike up a conversation with the girl, asking what was happening.
But the long-legged girl with golden hair ignored him, pretending not to hear. With no other choice, he turned to look at Jiang Ran.
"Hey, buddy, do you know what's going on with the plane? Also, why has it been so chaotic back there?"
Even though the current Jiang Ran was the main personality with only kind memories,
facing only two survival spots,
unless you were a true saint willing to sacrifice your own life to save others,
otherwise...
"If you're curious, you can go check the back yourself."
Jiang Ran replied with words that were as good as no reply at all.
This remark left the Hua Country man in his twenties momentarily speechless. If he had wanted to go to business class or economy class behind to see what was happening, he would have gone already. Why would he even need to ask them?
"Are all of you mute? I ask what's happening and no one answers?"
The Hua Country man in his twenties then turned around and cursed at the entire first-class cabin.
The fashionably dressed Hua Country man in his thirties sneered from his seat: "Why don't you go ask those two flight attendants up front yourself? You'd know everything then. But you're too much of a coward to ask, and instead you curse at us. Idiot."
The Hua Country man in his twenties, having been cursed at, twitched his cheek.
He turned his head to look at the two gun-wielding flight attendants.
Standing straight as rods.
In the past, he actually liked this type of flight attendant.
He had dated over twenty beautiful female flight attendants.
But now, seeing this kind of flight attendant, he had completely lost the courage to even strike up a conversation, let alone talk.
He shuffled back to his seat in disappointment.
But as he passed the Hua Country man in his thirties, he still fired back a curse: "You idiot piece of shit, say that again and I'll fucking kill you."
The Hua Country man in his thirties just faintly smirked at the corner of his mouth, staring at the small TV on the seat in front of him, ignoring him completely.
Because he still hadn't figured out what was happening on the plane, the Hua Country man in his twenties had lost all desire to sleep.
After returning to his seat, he simply picked a movie to watch on the small TV in front of him.
Soon, another hour passed.
Captain Tom's voice rang out over the broadcast again.
"My little cuties on the plane! The game has been going on for two hours! There are still ten hours left until the game ends! Hurry up!!!"
The Hua Country man in his twenties jolted awake upon hearing Captain Tom's words, shouting loudly: "Holy shit, I knew something was going on! There's a problem! What game?!"
After his outburst, first class remained dead silent, with no one answering him.
He grabbed his hair with one hand, clearly getting agitated.
Just then,
two gun-wielding flight attendants wearing Tom and Jerry masks entered through the rear passage.
In addition to their guns, these two flight attendants were also carrying large tablet computers. They walked to the very front, stood before the passageway, and both tablets powered on simultaneously, playing the same video.
Everyone in first class, except for the two still sleeping, turned their eyes toward the two tablets.
The videos playing on the tablets appeared to show what was happening in business class and economy class behind.
More accurately, it was economy class, and the footage was shot from the very front seats, with a slightly downward angle from a camera.
The video footage showed economy class in complete chaos—people hitting each other, fighting each other. Cries, angry shouts, and screams echoed everywhere. Total bedlam.
There was even a man taking advantage of the chaos to rape a woman.
