Great Novelist

One Step Outward (4)

“Do you know what time it is here? ”

“I don't know.”

You hear your answer beyond the dryer. He accepted with a false laugh. Yeah, it's better to call without knowing than knowing.

“Tell me quickly. ”

He urged an answer. I got a strange question on the phone when I was asleep. The question is, what do you think of yourself? The voice was Kelly Coin's. The language was also English, and he shook his eyes and asked.

“What are you doing? ”

“It's me in the middle of an interview. ”

“· · · · · · Is this a dream? ”

Then the nightmare was clear. If it's a dream, you have to fly at least. My body is heavy. Thankfully, Kelly Coin's voice growls in her ear.

“That sounds like a dream. Answer quickly and go back to sleep. ”

“· · · · · · · You're in the middle of an interview. Oh, you're taking a break now? ”

“No, I'm spinning the camera. ”

“· · · · · · Are you sure you called accidentally? You have mistaken your close colleague's author number. ”

“I don't have any close co-authors. ”

“Hahaha.”

Admit it. He's really Kelly Coin, he's interviewed on the other side of the globe, and he calls no matter what the odds. It's probably being recorded. Kelly Coin was the right thing to do.

“It's not live, is it? ”

“No, that's not it. ”

There won't be a major broadcast station where Kelly Coin interviews live. He got up and lit the fire. I picked up a cup on my desk, drank water, and woke my mind to sleep.

“So, what do you think of the coin? ”

“Yes. What do you think of me as a writer? ”

“I admire you.”

“I doubt it.”

He doubted his sincerity all at once. I stopped yawning and said.

“I'm telling you, I'm amazed at how many pieces you've published. ”

“Again."

He brazenly found the next word. I just thought I'd hang up, but I was afraid he was gonna fly in the plane.

“Why aren't you talking? ”

“I'm just a little sleepy right now. I'll give you this much time. ”

The world-renowned author Kelly Coin. He has only been nominated for the Cannula at this time, but he has already won four awards. I'm a terrible writer, along with a genre writer. There were a lot of people who were famous for their temper and wanted an interview. There were many who wanted his writing. One of them is you. I admire him as a writer. The bear thinks and opens his mouth.

“This is what I felt when I translated your writing. ”

“Tell me. ”

I felt frustrated translating his writing.

“You write really well. ”

“ · · · · · ·. ”

There was no word from across the street. All I could hear was the murky eyes, and suddenly I heard laughter. It sounds cheerful. I've never heard him smile before. I fell asleep in an instant.

“The most pathetic assessment I've ever heard. ”

I'm sorry about that.

“I'm sorry about that. Anyway, that's it, right? ”

“Yes."

“You woke me up. ”

He opened the window. The cold winds are in. We have a situation. I also drew pictures of the broadcasters on the other side of the phone.

“What are we going to do with this? I got my voice out in the open in my sleep. ”

“Don't worry about it. I'm gonna ask you to cut. ”

Coin said that and there was a commotion on the other side of the quiet. Multiple voices were heard. In the meantime, I heard what Isabella thought was Isabella. A moment followed by a chaotic atmosphere. It's worth it.

“Hello? Coins? ”

He called out his name. The voice of the answering coin was mildly annoyed.

“What do you say?"

I asked very briefly. I am confident that everyone knows what I am. They want a voice. Coin is waiting for a doctor over here, not over there. If you refuse, Kelly Coin will not surrender her voice, even if she decides to destroy the camera.

I looked at my desk in the cold wind coming through the window. There was a thank-you note to the publisher. It was a message to the reader. Should I preach about this in the flesh? I took a few moments to answer.

“Yeah, well. If it's just the voice.”

Across the street from his answer, it became more noisy. In a moment, I heard the English accent I had never heard before. He introduced himself as an interviewer for Kelly Coin. There was intense excitement.

“Yes, hello. A writer's coincidence.”

“Oh, my God. I can't believe I'm talking to you. Uh, do you mind if I ask you a few questions? ”

“Not too much. ”

“You were late. I won't take much. ”

The interviewer said faster. He desperately sought words to question the unprepared subject. In the meantime, I haven't missed the fact that I read your work.

“Your writing was beautiful. It's an unusual popularity, especially in the United States. Did you know?”

“Yes. I heard from the agent. ”

“I think the thing that most people notice and admire most in God's language is language. Did you really invent the letters that professional linguists acknowledge? Is there no expert who cooperated with writing? ”

“Yes.”

He replied briefly. The interviewer paused and checked again.

“You mean nothing? ”

“Yes. I never asked outside advice on the linguistic side of writing a work called the language of God. But the language that comes out of the writing is already in the world, and we've looked at the characters that come out of people's mouths. So in a broad sense, it's not uncommon to say I had the help of humanity. ”

“· · · · · · · Wow. ”

The interviewer admired the small question:

“Are you really 18 years old? ”

A familiar doubt, but never formally asked. He smiled and replied.

“Yes, that's right. ”

There was a little silence this time. The interviewer blocked the gap with his own voice.

“About the language of God, but I'm now a candidate for the full length of the cannula. If you were to receive this award, you would be the first Asian Literature Award winner in over half a century of global literature, and how did you feel when you first heard about it? ”

“I'm glad.”

“Is that all?”

“Well, yes. I was a little busy when I heard the news, and something more important happened. After all, the prize is someone else's decision. I don't need to do anything else. ”

“· · · · · · · I have so much to say. If you were sitting in front of me, 20 more questions would come up. I'm just going to ask you this. What was more important than one of the world's top four SF literature award nominees? ”

“Uh, you don't mind me saying this, do you? You have a plaintiff who is currently retiring. ”

“· · · · · · · Which means? ”

“I don't know when it's going to come, but it's going to come out. ”

“I heard you recently made a short cut in Korea. It's a very good piece. ”

“Yes, thank God you said a lot of nice things. ”

That's not why I couldn't write. You hear a faint sound of breath as you follow.

“I'm still writing a thank-you note to the readers. I accepted your request because I wanted to convey to you in person how things turned out. Will it be okay?”

“Oh, of course. ”

I straightened my neck and tightened my stomach a little more.

“Thank you to all my readers for reading my work. ”

He said in Korean. Thank you. The interviewer realized it was his last word. After a short greeting, the call was again handed over to Kelly Coin. The coin hangs up as it grows. He glances at the machine in his hand for a moment, then turns off the light and invites him to sleep.

“It's a coincidence. ”

James, an English teacher at high school, recently heard amazing news from a friend who became a fan of coincidence. It was coincidence that a world-class novelist, Kelly Coin, was interviewed on a broadcast station. The broadcast that conducted the interview promoted this widely in the United States, and the staff at the time proved the situation at that time. It is difficult to obtain certain information about coincidences. It's because he never opens his mouth. I became a global literary nominee and began to pay attention to him in overseas media. It was easier to find the article that tried to make contact with coincidence, and easier to find the news that it failed. But Kelly Coin took a step outside.

James was waiting for the broadcast to come through the Internet. Comments have been rapidly populating since 10 minutes ago, although they have not yet begun. The person who came to see Kelly Coin's interview and the person who came to hear the voice of coincidence were mixed. There were many people who introduced themselves as Korean. They all loved literature and books.

“Finally.”

The broadcast has finally started. After the interview, it started in a serious atmosphere. On set, Kelly Coin and an interviewer sat face to face with each other. The camera intercepted two people and listened to their conversation.

“I love your pearl earrings the most. ”

“I'm sick of it. ”

Kelly Coin nods, dumbfounded by her compliment. Everyone who is interested in English literature knows the writer Kelly Coin. None of the people who knew his name didn't know his temper. There were countless events or interviews that he ruined. This interview will not be so different unless it is a coincidence. The phone call during the interview was a clear accident.

“Paprika and unicorns. ”

The broadcast continued sharply and calmly. The interviewer listened to Coin's story and managed to keep it completely off fire, while occasionally taking dangerous actions to provoke him. Coin did not cross the line. He doesn't run away. Just react. Taunt from that side and taunt him. Take a sigh from that side and he'll see. Tired from the flow was not a coin. James looks away for a moment. The comments were filled with words that expected a coincidence to appear.

“Let me ask.”

Coin reacts and picks up the phone. He wants to ask the questions himself. I was going to ask her myself. The interviewer was greatly embarrassed. However, he looked like he had a chance. I wanted to say a lot, but I would never take it out while the phone was connected.

James seemed to be able to understand his feelings very well. He breathed like that. You hear a faint voice of coincidence.

"I don't know.”

Kelly Coin's answer covers it. James raises the sound as much as he can, but all he hears on the phone near Coin's ear is a murmur. The scene seemed to have stopped filming. The actual scene was panicked because of a sudden incident. Coins focused solely on the call, regardless of that. As the story progressed, three people appeared to be in charge of the camera angle and a woman came in. They're restless with Kelly Coin in the middle. The woman said.

“You have a very unusual way of thinking about things. ”

The coin didn't even pretend to hear it. I continued the conversation with coincidence. Suddenly, I burst out a big smile. James doubted my eyes and ears. The Kelly Coin smiles.
