Great Novelist

Double Crown (5)

“I read that book. ”

“It was good.”

You look at the screen, and the writers who received the short cut award rush out of the dark stage. As co-prime minister, two writers stepped onstage in sequence. Both of them felt strong enough to care about their outfits. It was a black suit and dress. The one who received the award first was the one in the dress.

C. She asked for understanding and expressed her feelings to the co-winner. The black trophy in your hand reflects the light. She gave an award-winning expression and uttered an obscene word in the face of a wide chairman. She told everyone the reality of what she felt when she wrote my messages and writings.

I did. I was listening, and the weight was on my arm.

“Writer, next. ”

Next was the full-length novel section. In the full-length novel, five books, including the language of God, are nominated. Vibrations came from the hand of Nam-Kyung who held his wrist forcefully. It was very cold hands. But the fact that his hands are as cold as his own...

I knew it. He smiled and took his hand off. I was worried that I would get a pulse that was faster than usual.

“Breathe, Editor. ”

He tried to show his face that there was nothing wrong with him, but failed. He's shaking like that, even though the book he edited doesn't win the prize. I don't even think about raising my spilled glasses. Nam-Kyung was the person who had read his articles in the closest place. Strict and cold

Crab was the one who had denied and fixed his writing. I recalled a failure I had in the past. He stopped himself. But I didn't listen. As a result, the relationship was over.

“I'm nervous, too. ”

Susan rubs her hands and says, She was enjoying the suspense of contagion.

“I think you will. ”

Susan says she's keeping her eyes fixed on the screen. The camera captured your landscape.

“Why?”

“There's no one there that's more eye-catching than my son. ”

He laughed at that. And his writings on the other side looked strange. He leaves his hands and grows at will, scooping around for prizes now.

“Is this how parents want their children to win prizes? ”

Susan laughed at the funny metaphor, but said she thought differently.

“How is it different? ”

“It's very rare to get on a single phase instead of your child. He won the prize because he did well. Parents don't get prizes, they get their children's gratitude. ”

You nod. You can see a lot of times when Coin mentions her while speaking.

“But books don't say thank you to writers. The award is not because the book is good. Books don't work. ”

The writer left the stage, thanking his parents for giving birth to him.

“From what I see, whether it's an art award or a writer, it's all because my son is good at it. ”

“You have great love for your children. ”

Susan smiles cheerfully. And I said,

“So be a little nervous. Nervousness comes from anticipation, doesn't it? Like the editor next to you. ”

He saw the penis drifting off the bridge without saying a word. Nam-Kyung sincerely hoped that a writer named Coincidence would be rewarded. He points his finger at the screen before saying a word to him.

“Now let's find out who the winner of the feature novel is. ”

Three gazes turned to the screen. The person who won the award in the long section was holding an envelope with a name in his hand. My hand slowly opened the envelope. Pick up the paper inside. I held hands. Cold and humid. I'm nervous. I'm looking forward to it.

“Please.”

You hear a murmur next to you. The person on the screen moved his mouth. It happened so fast. He said his name very quickly. Nam-Kyung got up from his seat and Susan raised her hands high. On the screen, there was a shout that was incomparable to the sound of applause.

“Coincidence!”

Congratulations. Another name for the latter eternity is buried in the sound. Coin rises. The sigh in the middle holds awe. Everyone knew. It's a new record. Coincidence has won both awards - the highest honor of SF fantasy.

The camera moves and grabs the stairs leading up to the stage. The coin rises the stairs with a puffy face. The winner handed him a trophy. The coin pulls the paper out of your pocket. But the cheer continued. Nam-Kyung was about to go backwards, wrapping his head around it.

I smiled at him. My mouth keeps going up. I put my hand up to cover my mouth when the tremors spread. I met Kelly Coin on the screen.

“Writer!"

Nam-Kyung rushes in, his weight shifts backwards. I touched my back. The visible ceiling laughed for a while.

“There are so many stars today. ”

He stepped out of his home and looked up at the dark sky. It was late, but my mind was clear. When I asked Coin for a surrogate, there were only two stars, but it was hard to count them now. Depending on where you look up, the landscape looks like this.

A lot of calls came in after news of the Chancellor's coincidence. Especially in Nam-Kyung, he had to take a phone call from numerous people. Nam-Kyung settled his excitement as he confronted them. Susan took me to a nearby restaurant to celebrate. I had to go by car, but it was a delicious shop.

“It's really flat. ”

I looked around. I felt it when I first came here, but it was completely different from what I saw in Manhattan. Unlike the high-rises, high-end brands, and bustling bustling streets that used to be full of people, there was nothing here. There was an endless plain. All of a sudden, Kal.

Lee Coin's studio and villa are built. One of the things I saw most in my car was corn. This is the American countryside. I feel relieved to see that nothing stands in the way. I think I know why Kelly Coin turned this place into a workshop.

How he was leaning against the wall. I can see two lights approaching from a distance. The car was coming. This is the only house around here. So there's a good chance that car is headed this way. I slowly straightened myself out. The car approaches at a rapid rate and then stops.

“Coins.”

The car stopped and it was Kelly Coin that got unloaded in there. Coin was also looking this way. I'm frowning.

“Why aren't you sleeping? ”

“That's my heart. ”

This is the first time you've had a conversation with someone you invited to the United States. I snorted to see if Coin was thinking the same thing. He pulls something out of the car and throws it to himself. Reaching out and receiving reflectively was a trophy.

“Why are you throwing it? If you hadn't caught him, you'd have blown him to bits. ”

“Too bad.”

He looks at the trophy in his hands. It's long. It's rocket-shaped. I swiped and tapped, but asked Coin.

“Aren't you celebrating? ”

“I won't. ”

I knew it.

“Well, I'm not done congratulating Coin yet. ”

“You have to act smart in there. ”

“You don't have to pretend to be a real hotshot. ”

“Coincidence?”

“I'm a coincidence. ”

He turns the car off and approaches himself. He looks around in the dark and asks.

“Can't you sleep? ”

“Yes.”

“Did you get excited, too? ”

Coin opens his eyes and looks at himself, frankly.

“It's the jetlag. ”

“That's funny. ”

“It's true.”

He didn't believe until the end. There is a scene that reminds me of him holding his tail up on one side of his mouth.

“You flipped the awards ceremony. ”

“I don't. ”

At the end of the awards ceremony, he did exactly what Coin said.

“I don't think it's a coincidence. In other words, if you don't get a double crown, it's your fault for not counting the votes correctly. ”

Among the suspicions of following coins were scandals about voting. It was actually a suspicion that everyone knew.

“I'm going to say more. ”

“You used to talk a lot. ”

“But that's true. ”

“You sound like someone else. ”

Accidental walking was never quiet. Coins were very annoying by listing the questions about coincidences they heard at the awards ceremony. He said with the same look on his face as when he went onstage.

“I don't do proxy awards anymore. ”

It was expected enough. I didn't think I could ask him to do the same thing twice. No one would ask him for a proxy if he wasn't. He thanked me.

“I'm worried about vandalism, so I can't let you do that. ”

“Oh, no. I should have broken it. ”

It was absurd, but he didn't stop there because he wasn't very unlikely. I entered my home and went into my own room. I couldn't sleep easily that day.

The next morning it was sunny and I went downstairs, and Susan was sitting on the couch. She watches television with a cigarette in her mouth. It was not too late, but she seemed to have done everything already. He sits on a chair next to her. It was vintage design furniture.

“Did you know you received coins yesterday? ”

“I saw the car. ”

“I see you've come on the road at night. You could've come more easily. ”

“I'm in a hurry. ”

Susan shakes her head slightly. And he fixed his gaze over his shoulder. She turns her head along her eyes, and the coin suddenly drops down.

“Why are we talking about each other in the morning? ”

It was pajamas. I don't think I washed it. You must be tired just yesterday. I woke up well. He must have good stamina.

“Good night. ”

“Huh."

Susan picked up one of the magazines piled up on the table and said,

“I've already eaten. I boiled the soup.”

“Do you have any bread? ”

“I also bought homemade bacon. ”

I sat quietly between the two of them. Coins go into the kitchen and take out the frying pan. He looked behind him.

“You want to cook?”

“I'm hungry.”

He first took out two eggs. He went next to him coldly and said.

“Will you give me my share, too? ”

He was silent. I'm not sure if that means positive or negative. Just in case, I looked carefully at the location of the eggs and the oil.

“Don't forget there's one more person besides me. ”

“You want me to care about people who aren't here? ”

“I'll wake him up. ”

“Come on. It's not good when it's cold. ”

He went up the stairs. There were five rooms on this floor. Two rooms facing each other, one facing the stairs. The room facing the stairs was Coin's workshop and bedroom. He stood in front of the first visit and knocked.

“Editor.”

Knockman calls out to him, wanting to be weak. He hears a small rustle. I opened the door and went inside. I was looking for glasses.

“If you don't get here soon, there's no breakfast. ”

“I don't usually eat breakfast. ”

“Even though Kelly Coin makes her own breakfast? ”

“Here we go.”

He looks bloodshot, but goes straight into the bathroom connected to the room. The sound of washing was very loud. After spilling the water, I looked at myself with a slightly sober face.

“You don't dream of winning a prize, do you? ”

I was talking nonsense to make sure I still hadn't woken up.
