Great Novelist

Why the author has no prize (3)

“Popular author. ”

I heard a playful voice of Nam-Kyung next to me. He ignored the words and said with a lunchbox.

“Are you going to eat? ”

“No. If I eat now, I'll pretend. ”

“Then I'll eat it myself. ”

I cut my chopsticks, leaving my penis to see the splinters on my legs. I looked at myself with admiration, not even blinking an eye.

“You didn't sneak me around, did you? Why are you so used to it? ”

“Is it so unfamiliar to eat? ”

“It's a strange thing to do at a station. ”

Nam-Kyung saw himself through a mirror on the wall of the waiting room.

“Maybe the facilitator is just taking a sip of water into the void. It's a coincidence that it's the first broadcast. ”

I smiled slightly at the exaggeration. After finishing eating and preparing, about thirty minutes passed by. I was told I was going to be on the record. The first PD and writer that I saw came to pick me up. During the journey through the hallway to the shooting site, the two of them tried to reassure themselves.

“Don't be so nervous. Most of them go to the questionnaire. ”

“Yes.”

“Don't worry about the camera. Speak comfortably with the facilitator. ”

“Yes.”

“You know, sometimes you have to answer, right? You just need to take your time and think and answer. ”

“Yes.”

“Drink if you're thirsty, as the bottled water is next to the chair. ”

“Yes.”

As I entered the recording, I saw the cameras and monitors surrounding the set. A lot of people stood around the set. He sat on a chair set in accordance with PD's instructions. There was a huge table shaped like this, and the lower half of the body was raining on the camera.

I don't hit. Sitting still makes my surroundings more busy. Nam-Kyung was talking to the writer. It did not appear to be going straight to the recording.

“I'm going to put the microphone on. ”

Someone walks into the set with a microphone. He got up and surrendered himself. Maybe it's because someone approached him beyond the set. The person who was just staring from a distance came into the gilded set.

“Can you take a picture? ”

The badge on his neck made him look like a station employee. He nodded again. They took a picture of the set in the background. Some people came with books and asked for autographs. Some wanted a handshake.

“Record well. ”

They all said good things when they left. I didn't hold myself for long. I went after the timing and got what I wanted and went out of the set. I thought I would watch the recording. He looked around for more and more people and found someone very familiar. A very long time.

The bitterness that I had heard before came to me in reflection.

“I finally see your face. ”

I came straight to myself and talked to him. A flat-footed critic. He grins deeply. He seemed very happy. A tie tucked in by spectacular cubics reflects light. Maybe the most glamorous necktie in this place. He bows his head. Him.

Later he introduced himself.

“I'm having fun with the Great Reading Club. ”

“Really?"

Pyeongjin was surprised. He quieted that he was a pro who saw many writers secretly, and took out his cell phone to tell the PD right away. He stood still and watched.

“I couldn't sleep last night. ”

Pyeongjin asked why.

“I can finally hear your answer. The excitement was overwhelming. ”

That's awkward. Thankfully, someone calls you from behind because you're smiling awkwardly. I was a facilitator.

“Hello, accidental writer. ”

The host in the suit shook his hand. He reaches out his hands and greets. Familiar face, I've interviewed the same facilitator before I did not often ask aggressive questions. But it also approaches sharply in the center. It brings out the interesting parts well.

It was the few facilitators that remained memorable. I have often seen interviews with people. I said a light hello to Pyeongjin as if it were a sphere.

“How was your journey? ”

The facilitator asked, and we had a light conversation before recording. He replied, reminiscing about the somewhat insecure driving.

“Excellent. It didn't block the way. ”

I can feel the facilitator looking at his/her face. The facilitator no longer spoke, simply opened his eyes and sat on a chair a little further away. I used to sit down thinking that I was talking a little longer.

The flank moves to the facilitator's side. As I sat down, I could see that I was the main character of this interview. Some of the cameras did not move and took pictures of themselves.

As the facilitator sat down, the site sped up a little more. The station staff who came to watch were far away, and the directors who caught the camera hung up a little more. He stared at him dazed.

The writer told me that he was going to be on the screen after the facilitator said so. Only the moment the facilitator talks to himself can he or she blend into this space. The facilitator exchanged signatures with PD. There were no large flares to start filming. Just nature.

I started recording gently. I looked outside the set. Nam-Kyung was trembling on his feet. I couldn't help laughing.

“I'm a Lee Pyeong-jin critic who will help you with your interview today. Hello."

“Yes, hello. ”

The two of them face each other, lowering their heads slightly. I repeated the greeting I had just shared before and after the recording began, as I proved that it was a different space.

“I'm really looking forward to today. ”

Pyeongjin looked at the facilitator and said. The facilitator smiled and accepted.

“Today is a special day. I've met a lot of people in the past, but I guess I've been curious about the real thing. ”

“I totally agree. ”

“I wonder if our viewers feel the same way. Then you'd better get to the main character of the interview today. ”

The facilitator put the introduction in his mouth. Now you are invited to that space. I sat down, conscious of a hard chair under my butt, and corrected my posture. I pulled my shoulder out.

“Every piece that we publish surprised us. He is Asia's first two crowns. I met Mr. Incidentally. ”

Camera faces this way. I can feel the red flame gathering on me.

“Hello."

The facilitator greets you first. He bowed his head as well.

“Hello."

“Thanks for coming to the interview today. In fact, there were a lot of media that wanted to interview you, right? ”

He nods. I tried hard to choose.

“Yes, there were many. ”

“I'm curious why you would want to meet with us on so many of those requests. ”

I told the other truth because I couldn't answer because I had experience.

“I asked around a lot. They all recommended this show. ”

The facilitator quickly skipped over these questions and answers, which were almost promising.

“My station staff doesn't usually do that, but they came down today and asked the writer for a picture. There was a commotion today. ”

“Yes, I'm happy to welcome you. ”

“You're very popular. ”

The facilitator glanced at the script while smiling without a specific answer.

“In fact, we've asked for interviews with you before. I just want my voice to be my voice. ”

I've been there. I refused them all.

“You said no to everything. ”

“Yes.”

“Our producers were very upset at the time, but the time has come to face me like this. Thanks to your public face. ”

“It's because you called me. ”

The facilitator smiled.

“Did you have any particular reason to show your face? ”

Of course I knew you'd come. He took a break and replied.

“There's a reason you didn't disclose it, rather than disclose it. ”

“What's that? ”

“I didn't want people to know I was a coincidence. ”

Of course they did. There's no particular reason why they would want it. The facilitator again asked why.

“Why didn't you want to know? At that time, you were being praised by your neighbors for your debut as a genius writer in Hanchang. ”

“I'm a writer because I write, not because I'm complimented, right? It was a decision I made in the hope that things would get better. ”

The flat surface nods reflectively. The facilitator briefly confirms the intention of what he said, and then turns to the conversation.

“So, as you intended, you had a normal school life? for the last three years. ”

“Yes.”

“The broadcast was just released to cover your school. It's still a hot reaction until recently. ”

I did. It's too hot for Dale.

“It was generally a positive response, but some of it was controversial. It's about the literature. Why didn't you win a prize by chance? ”

It was a stimulating phrase.

“As I mentioned earlier, a writer named Coincidence has a history of not thinking he has a top. But for three years, an amateur writer named the Space Shuttle did not win a single prize. There are some things a party can't do without a prize, but what about that?

Do you think? ”

“First of all, I think there's a lot of influence on the broadcasting and the news. And again, it was a pretty good choice to hide my face when I was a student. ”

A smile burst out among the spectators.

“There were some opinions about whether or not the writer deliberately concealed his skills. ”

I didn't hide my skills on purpose. I always write with all my heart. When he said that, the facilitator asked again.

“So the judges judged your writing as not winning enough? ”

He said, "You don't think I can give you an award. ”

It didn't meet the standards in many ways. The facilitator's face was filled with deep questions.

“Our research shows that you attended several tournaments in three years while attending high school. ”

“Yes, it is. ”

“You were already at the beginning of the sentence, weren't you? ”

“When I first entered the competition, I was planning my next move. ”

“Did you feel free about going to the amateur competition? ”

“Everyone in high school is qualified to participate. ”

The silence settled for a moment in a solemn answer. It did not last long.

“But it's not that I don't care. So I picked a competition to give up the prize. when you don't attend the awards ceremony, all the penalties come to you. ”

The facilitator asked quickly.

“Have you ever given up on an award? ”

He told the truth.

“Yes, I do. ”

The blur shifts. The march crashes in unbearably.

“Tell me more from the beginning. I can't stand the curiosity. ”
