Great Novelist

Chewing Iron Genius (1)

“I shouldn't have come. ”

The pencil lets out a small sigh. I mean it. He tries to calm his buzzing insides. I could not take the class at all. I was going to throw up in class, so I just sat on the stairs of the building. Obviously when I woke up in the morning, I was fine. I read the book before I ate. I couldn't get it out of my hand while the bowmen were flying in front of me.

“I drank too much yesterday. ”

I regretted it. Gym and people shout from afar. I was playing football. I felt nauseous just watching the ball roll. I pressed the temple. It still doesn't heal. I didn't feel good.

“You're a notebook, right? ”

Someone calls to you from behind. I turned around and saw someone looking at me in the building. The bleached hair was frizzy. I barely knew my face because of the same and senior. He talks friendly.

“You said you were friends with coincidence. ”

I knew very well why he was speaking. I came forward as if I didn't even care about the frowning face of my own suffering. It was very painful to look up at him facing the sun.

“Can you give me a phone call with coincidence? ”

Your eyebrows frown. You feel a stronger feeling than usual. There was no way to control it. It wasn't the hangover. I remembered a book I had read since morning. There was a sense of inferiority. There was also a sense of defeat. The feelings in the novel were familiar. I felt like my own story the whole time. The writer has allowed him to look back on his past in one piece.

“Didn't you just curse at me? ”

“Huh?"

“I accidentally sold her name. ”

He is the one who cursed together when he cursed. He brushes his stiff head with his hands because it was embarrassing. I didn't brush my messy head with my hands.

“That's not me. ”

He stepped up very easily and without a castle. When I was younger than I am now, I could not forgive this situation. I couldn't pretend I didn't hear it. I hated other people in front and back. Mixing the horses was too much. It's been a long time since I felt like this.

“No. ”

I was irritated from the bottom of my heart.

“Why?”

“Keep talking and I'll puke. ”

He did not heed his warning.

“I'm glad you're friends with a writer. ”

“Yes, that's good. ”

“What can I get you? ”

I get up on my feet. I can't take his word for it now.

“Ugh."

As he fumes toward his face, he retreats in a panic. Vomiting was as easy as shaving your eyebrows. You rush forward with the thought of putting dirt on his face. He hurriedly steps back and falls into a commotion. I looked down at him, and the book said, That's why you don't get along.

“Here, I'll give you a tissue. ”

He suddenly wakes up and hands you some dusty toilet paper from his bag. Toilet paper was only right if he had it. We need to clean up the debris that's covering his body. Watching the crumpled piece of paper makes everything feel empty. You take a small sigh and feel as if you took a towel from him.

“I could use some water. ”

I left school and went to the convenience store. I didn't want to say anything, but I needed something to calm me down. I felt like I was going to vomit so badly.

“Is medicine better than water? ”

I changed direction in the middle. I went to a nearby pharmacy first because there was no difference in the distance anyway. Pharmacists used to pass out drugs and drinks as if they often saw college students like themselves. I swallowed it in place.

“You're the writer, right? ”

The pharmacist stares at his face and asks.

“That guy who happens to be a writer and a friend. ”

“Yes.”

“I heard you write well. Are you sure?"

“Yes.”

He laughs helplessly at his own answer.

“It's hard being with such a good friend, isn't it? ”

“Quite so.”

“That's what I did when I was young. He was an aspiring singer. He had a rival. ”

I raised my head to the sound of rivals. However, the pharmacist did not realize where he was interested and only said what he wanted to say.

“I'm no match for him. He's still good. Do you know a trout singer? I'm his friend. Can I show you a picture?”

“Yes.”

I saw the picture he showed me. A stranger. I can only remember the sparkling stage costume in the photo.

“I envy this guy's talent. I've had a hard time. ”

“I see.”

Even with a rough answer, he didn't stop talking.

“I found my way, though. But he's not as good as a coincidence. I think it's harder for you. ”

“Not really.”

“Cheer up.”

He said he didn't understand what he was saying, but he didn't want to make it longer, so he said he understood. He put the bottle in the trash and said,

“Can't you get an autograph? ”

Limitations.

“I'm going to throw up. ”

“Not here. There's a bathroom in the next building. Go there. ”

He gives one of the Black Sacks to himself. I took it easy. The world moves. I feel dizzy. The ground I'm treading on is heavy. He climbed. He told the literature his name. Now I know what it means. It wasn't just a coincidence. There are many writers who outrun themselves.

“I see why you don't drink. ”

I stopped under the bank tree. I buried my face deep in black vinyl. I'm sure it'll be fine once I spill it. As soon as I can see, I'll start writing. I made a commitment. He gave me a book like this even if I gave it to him. Maybe he knew everything. Let's not flatter ourselves that it's going well. There are many more people in this world who have to excel themselves. If I wanted to protect it, I had to try.

“I made a good friend. ”

I vomited up the feeling of inferiority and defeat.

*

“You made it.”

It was a weak voice. He looked down. Lee was lying in the middle of the room.

“Are you sick? ”

You shake your hands with a howl of wind. It's a droopy gesture. It looks like everything was being cleaned out. His surroundings were very cluttered. He placed the gift he had brought on the floor of the room. Adds to the clutter.

“I brought wine. ”

“Thank you.”

To celebrate the publication. The voice that I heard on the phone was nowhere to be found, and there was only a dull sigh. He was like a marathon player past the finish line. Every time he breathes, his mark rises high.

“Looks like you're tidying up. ”

“Yes. I'm going to clean up the manuscript I've been piling up. ”

“Let me help you.”

“I'd like that. ”

He nods happily. Then I got up. However, the hand that organized the manuscript was very slow. He could not even classify unless he was his own plaintiff, so he was clumsy at his own pace.

“Give me that box over there. ”

“This?”

“Next to it. ”

He picked up a large box and handed it to him. He picks up the box and rips the tape out of his mouth and closes the bottom. There was a commotion with the tape.

“Throw it all away. ”

He abandoned most of the manuscripts. At the beginning, he glanced closely and fell into a memory, and he put it in a box with almost a bunch of annoying things in the middle.

“And then what if you blow up valuable data? ”

“I usually keep that somewhere else, so that's fine. ”

He confidently said. And I lay on the floor with confidence.

“How long have you been in bed again? ”

“It's hard. Let's rest. We don't clean up after our precious guests. ”

“I'm jealous of the good excuses. ”

He sits at the threshold. You can see the dust draining out of the open window. The dust reflects light and sparkles small.

“You look lazy. ”

“I feel like I'm on fire. ”

The wind blows and his hair shakes endlessly.

“Did you read it?”

“I read it.

He took a break and asked.

“Let's hear it. ”

He saw the wine he had brought.

“It was good enough to drink. ”

His gaze as he walked through the dust turned toward the threshold. It was his gesture to confirm his intentions. My eyes were lively.

“You drank? ”

“Just one drink. ”

“You only had one drink? A can?"

“A drink. One soju.”

“Who drinks like that? ”

I spit out a vain laugh. I don't feel bad. He looks up and down his chest and asks.

“That's me, right? ”

“Who.”

“The one who chews iron. ”

“Haha, do you recognize it? ”

Various characters appear in his novels. Fools, lunatics, romanticists, white supremacists, manias, etc. Some of them were geniuses.

“You're a man who chews iron instead of meat. ”

He was the most peculiar, ridiculous, noticeable, and glamorous person.

“You're a genius. Everyone envies his methods. ”

“You're desperate. You're poisoned. ”

I asked a little question.

“You felt a little bad, didn't you? ”

Crew quickly admitted.

“He took my statue. If it wasn't for you, I could have been on that stage. Yoo Geun-woo from New Impressions. ”

“That's what you missed. ”

“Be arrogant.”

The iron-chewing genius is desperate. He firmly believed he was made of iron. It's different from the others. I'm fine if I fall. You won't get hurt if you run into it. Jump into the fire bravely, without worrying. It still won't melt. It was still solid. It was the best.

“How can you write the next one? ”

“What?”

He asked unexpectedly. His gaze was again towards the ceiling. While lying down, my pronunciation slightly faded.

“I'm about to be extinct after writing a book. I wrote 800 manuscripts. But you're not. It's only been a few months now, and I've even written in front of my readers, and they have arms. And what, incomplete? I thought you were crazy. How dare you expose the script in front of people? ”

He throws his head back and forth.

“That's right, you eat iron. It's not like me to be gentle. Oh, it's going to sleep. ”

I yawn with a big mouth. I acted as if I could never escape my nakedness. I looked like someone who had just woken up and was about to go to bed.

“What are you talking about when you went to the restaurant together? ”

You hear a sound behind you. He looks up and down at you from above. Junsu's eyes met mine. He still looked good.

“It's only been a week since I tidied up my room. ”

Junsu sighed a little.

“I tried so hard, but the teacher said to let him rest. ”

Junsu's smile slightly changed.

“Let's finish cleaning up. ”

“Leave me alone. Brother.”

He taps the box with his foot up. He hears the sound of the contents falling, but he's not even moved. I looked at those roots.

“It's good to take a long rest. About 30 years, and maybe you'll be able to write without a wink for the rest of your life. ”

Keung snorts. My body was shaky.

“You're being stupid. ”
