Great Novelist

Accidental Translator (3)

Drinking or not, I stare at a bottle of soju. It's been 10 minutes. Seogwang reached out his trembling hand. I grabbed onto a cold, hard surface. It's been a long time since I've been this nervous about drinking. It reminds me of the first time I had a drink in college. I had to drink and reach out and take care of things until my comrades were drunk. Quite a sight for sore eyes. Seogwang took up his mind and lifted the sickness.

“Oh my gosh, you scared me. ”

Then the phone rang. It was a text of Sunhwa. She said she was going to have a drink with the children during the Moon Prophets today. Seogwang refused the offer that came to him. She knew well enough.

“Are you doing that? Conspiracy.”

“Why do you ask? ”

“As a courtesy.”

What she sent was a photograph. Everyone looks excited. Baron sits in the middle. It is far from this lonely space. Seogwang replied because he was cold.

“I'm going to drink, too. ”

Seogwang slowly breathed out. I opened the lid and put it down quietly. I smelled it for a moment. It doesn't smell good. I heard the clock. I'm losing my grip. Thirty seconds have passed. My heart trembles. I take a deep breath and open my mouth. It's unnatural to move your neck. I feel refreshed.

No, it's hot. I breathed in 15 seconds. You drink half. Your arms are wide and centered.

“Isn't this dangerous? You're not crossing a river I can't come back from, are you? ”

I see a blank sheet. It's been a month. We can't do this. I held my breath and bit the bottle. The empty bottle was placed on the table. You yell loudly. I thought I'd have another bottle, but I quit because I was scared.

“I can't go back now. No turning back. Come on. Show me something. ”

The second hand shifts. The sloth sits still and wanders around the store. A few laps around the store, nothing happens.

“Boring.”

I grabbed my phone and called. The other person answers the phone quickly.

“What's going on? ”

You have a funny voice. When I grabbed the boat and laughed, my voice stopped.

“Have you been drinking? ”

I'm sensible. He smells amazing without drinking.

“I drank.”

“Are you with Sunhwa? ”

“No. Alone. ”

“What are you talking about? ”

“You can't translate. ”

“Does that mean you drink? It's pathetic.”

It is a voice of joy. Seogwang felt good. The horse popped out of my mouth naturally.

“You drank a bottle of soju in 30 seconds? ”

I was surprised.

“I am now a fish without gills. ”

“You're drunk.”

“I'm not drunk. ”

Seogwang swore an oath to the sky. Everything is the same.

“Totally fine. I don't see any visions. I'm telling you, liquor is a problem. Eight bottles is not a problem. ”

“You're speaking English. ”

Seogwang ignored his words and wandered around. It looks fine, too. I don't see any fish or foam I was expecting. There is no tropical language. No fins appear. I couldn't wait for the aquarium to show up, but there was nothing. He just left an empty shotgun in front of an empty shop. The screen was still blank.

“What is this? I shouldn't have drank. You have to translate.”

“What kind of translation is that? Go scrub your feet. ”

“I'm not drunk. ”

Seogwang left his phone on one side and got into position. I felt very good. Translation is fun, too. You are fortunate to have the opportunity to translate a coincidence article.

“I'm not afraid of anything. I'm not afraid of anything. I am invincible.”

“I'm just drunk. ”

“What a coincidence. ”

There were no words on the other side. It was lonely as soon as it got quiet. Seongwang threw a topic.

“What is translation? ”

“What?"

“When I translate your writing, do I become you? ”

“That's not true. ”

The answer on the phone was not important. Seogwang continued to talk to himself.

“If I write by accident, won't the best translation come out? But it's impossible. I'm me. Hey, can you do it? You can translate for yourself. Why don't you? I really don't understand. Then what am I supposed to do? ”

I leaned against the backrest. When I lose my strength, my head falls back. The fluorescent lights are dazzling. I close my eyes. I see a white light. There are no fish. Breathe well. It's not water.

“What are you looking at? ”

I want to take a peek, even for a second. Sometimes I feel like I am a writer when translating. There comes a moment like that very often. Even more so when dealing with a dead writer. This is a bold thing. It looks like it was stolen or borrowed. This is my post.

“A fish without gills. I can't live in the water. The protagonist drowns in the river. You're bluffing. It's a dying story. And coincidence.”

“Hello?"

The sound grows farther. My nose is blocked. Seogwang breathed with his mouth. I can feel his lungs moving. I inhaled a little harder. Something's about to come through.

“Are you okay? ”

Seogwang vomited something from his neck. A round orb rolls the floor. I picked it up and examined it. It was white and sticky.

“Eyeballs.”

“What?"

“I have your eyes. ”

It's the eyes I've always seen. I was curious. I wanted to know how he was reflecting on me. Seogwang listed all of his friends' books that he had read so far. It took 30 seconds. The silence settles.

“I don't know.”

Seogwang rolled his eyes into his mouth. It tastes sweet.

“All I know is that you're alive. ”

I was bitten and crushed.

“What is translation? What do you know? I'll just translate. You're just waiting. I'll go.”

“Hello?"

Darkness has come to an end.

“I can't live. I can't live.”

“My head is ringing. ”

Seogwang drank honey water with a superficial molar bone. I drank it as soon as I got up, so I felt unnatural. My insides are throbbing. The world spins.

“Are you awake? ”

Seogwang turns his head to look aside. The familiar face is in front of my eyes.

“Why are you here? ”

Coincidence. Coincidence is in his room. She was covered in blankets. Seeing that it's clean, it looks like it's washed by itself. He squeezed his shoulders with a hollow smile on his vague expression.

“I had a hard time yesterday. ”

He heard snoring over the phone and headed to the store. Luckily, Seogwang was lying on the floor sleeping. I carried him up and greeted him with a face of shame from my mother. I woke up in the Western room because it was late. Seogwang awoke him with an elongated groan.

“Do you remember? ”

“I don't know anything. ”

Seogwang grabbed his head and said. The split voice was also terrible. He asked with his cell phone in his hand.

“Did I call you? ”

“I used to.”

“Why?”

“Drunk.”

I sighed for a long time.

“I'm going to throw up. ”

“Fair enough. Health is about being young. ”

“Quiet. It's ringing.”

It's a serious face. He couldn't help but smile at that face.

“What did I say yesterday? ”

Seogwang noticed. He looked down at him and said.

“What do you think he said? ”

“What, you begged me to give you a hint? ”

“I don't know.”

“You begged me to plug you in? ”

“Hmm."

“Did he yell for help with the translation? ”

“Haha.”

“Say something, you son of a bitch. I'm going to throw up.”

He gags in vain.

“There was no such thing. ”

“Then?”

“I just listed everything from one piece to ten. ”

“Why?”

He remained silent for a moment.

“I don't know. ”

Seogwang sighed deeply and said.

“I'll never drink again. ”

I swept the elongated belly with my bare hands. Her face pales. She kicks her tongue at her son's molten bones.

“You have to learn with your body to understand. The bean sprouts are boiling, so wait. He eats and goes to Australia. ”

“Yes.”

Seogwang is silent. He admits his folly.

“I was going to finish the translation today. ”

“I'll be good at it. ”

“I can't see the letters. ”

“Alcohol is a great thing. I can't believe you're making that sound out of a reading maniac. ”

“This is not a joke. I don't see any letters. ”

Seogwang muttered. If you drink again, I'm a dog, not a man. Seogwang grabbed his head for a moment and leaned back and said.

“But I feel strangely light-headed. ”

“Inside?”

“I'm going to throw up because I'm too heavy. ”

I spent the day doing nothing. There was no progress.

“It's not liquor, either. ”

The next day, Seongwang, who was again in the corner of the cafe, welcomed an unwelcome guest.

“Hello?”

“Hello."

He slowly walked in front of the western lights.

“Are you alive? You're feeling better now. ”

A peaceful face.

“What are you doing here? ”

“I'm going for coffee. ”

“Is this the only cafe in Korea? ”

“Of course. Your mother's coffee is only here. ”

You hear a good laugh from afar. Seogwang had no intention of caring about it. I closed my laptop in a hurry. He turned away without even giving me a look. Seogwang called out in a hurry.

“Where are you going?”

He said with a curious eye.

“Pick a book. ”

He seriously chose the book. Seogwang stared at him and asked.

“Are you here to make fun of me? ”

“A little.”

Seogwang had a taste for food. I reopened the laptop screen that could not be seen from the angle. I took a quick look, but he still doesn't seem interested in his work. Seogwang said for no reason.

“I don't have time to play with you. ”

“Who asked you to play? ”

“Don't make me talk. I'll give you back what you stole from the doorman. ”

“I've been up to something again. ”

Seogwang did not hesitate to stick his head in his laptop. Although his hands were very busy moving, he knew that it was a hollow, as well as a slow one. He opened the book quietly and fell into reading.

“Hey. ”

He did not answer. Seogwang kicks his opponent's shin with his foot and calls out to him again.

“Writer.”

“What?”

“What should I do? ”

He said, fixing his eyes with a book.

“I started a conspiracy to find a skilled translator. ”

I'm not gonna help you.

“Son of a bitch. If you're going to do that, why are you hanging around? Disturb people.”

“It's my heart. ”

Seogwang just realized that a friend in front of him really came to make fun of himself. He raised his mouth and said.

“Need some help?”

Seogwang sharpened his teeth.

“Get lost.”

He laughed bitterly. Seogwang stared fiercely at the screen. One hour later, Seogwang stabbed me in the head.

“What's the matter? ”

When he asked, there was a dying voice.

“Take a break. ”

“Yes."

He turned over the bookshelf.

“Hnng.”

I hear groaning. I'm sick. He stared at the familiar head and said.

“Let me guess what you're thinking. ”

“When did you become a shaman? ”

“You're afraid of failure, aren't you? ”

My body grows big.
