Grimoire x Reverse ~Reincarnated Demon Romance Tale~

Episode IX: Alphan Mountains II: The Protagonist Crain

Crain Farbnil is the Divine Son of Light.

I was born a farmer to help my parents home, grind powder, and from time to time I have fought forest warcraft to live to the age of 12. At a time when warcraft and monsters were being activated, Crain somehow gained strange power when he finally heard reports that the Demon King Crusader with the Divine Son of Light of the Church had entered Demon King's Castle.

It didn't take that long until I realized that was the power of the Divine Son of Light.

Do you think that the godson of light of his predecessors fought resolutely as one of the Demon King's Crusaders and lost his life at the end? Is it true that the Empire's most powerful magician, who was one of us, defeated the Demon King in order to make a mistake, and that a temporary peace came to this world?

Yes, the Demon King's Crusader was two years ago when five nations joined hands, giving away one man at a time as the greatest fighter, and throwing a party.

The Empire has the strongest commanding magician among the best fighting groups of its own.

The republic has a protective halberdia born of a mutation.

The kingdom was chosen as the treasure sword excalibur and the best swordsman.

The Principality is the only guild to own the highest rank Braver.

And from this patriarchal kingdom, the Divine Son of Light, who possesses extrajudicial spiritual power, to be chosen by only one God in the country.

However, the battle against the Demon King was fierce, and these five warriors lost their lives at the price of finally defeating the Demon King.

Crain Farbnil was the successor to the Divine Son of Light scattered with pride in the Patriarchate to the end.

"Phew... but I can't believe I'm going to defeat a guy like the five best people on the continent that I've ever defeated. I wonder if you're okay."

"Crain would be fine. You made me admit it."

"Well, whatever Rudy's bullshit is, Crain's strong."

Coming all the way to the middle belly of the Alphan Mountains, a line of travellers led by Crain, the Divine Son of Light.

Sometimes I was tired of boulders because I came up here all at once, and the three of us sat back on a rock that seemed to sit down and took a small break.

One is Crain, the Divine Son of Light of the Patriarchate. Followed by Lyudius, the young prince of the kingdom. And it's three of the Principality's Braverharnas.

Two precious companions, Crain, who travelled the Patriarchate, were to act together on the road. Now these three continue their adventures looking for clues to the Demon King step by step.

"I don't know which dialogue of mine is bullshit...... well. Two years ago, we would have had the strongest members of the five countries. But, Crain, there's at least one of the best wizards in the kingdom and the most powerful swordsmen in the kingdom. Don't worry."

"Thank you, Lyudi"

"Hey hey! I forgot the best Priest Harna in the Principality!

"Ha, I just picked up a downed f-rank braver and thanked him"

"Haha, I'm counting on Harna too"

"I'm not going to -!

Crain laughs as he grabs the dried meat. A red-haired swordsman sitting in the front is one of the best friends I've had since I met him in the kingdom. I'm confident and I'll hang out, but my sword arm is definitely strong. The knights of the kingdom were also powerful enough to have made three opponents together, and we knew clearly that they would be stronger in their previous adventures.

Harna is the girl with the tin cane, who flushed her peachy hair on her back. On the road to the Principality, he was a dependable recoverer who became one after several mistakes since he found himself falling on an empty stomach.

"Ha"

"Did something funny happen too?

Unexpectedly spilled grin, the two look surprised. This is how we continue our dangerous journey, but I felt safe with these two.

"But what was grandpa fortune saying? If we go pick the flowers at the top of the Alphan Mountains, we'll have more clues to the Demon King..."

"And then you'll meet a tremendous" force "on the road, it's not the enemy. But I'm not on your side. He also said. You remember me better, Rudy."

"Shut up, common man.... but" a clue to the Demon King. "And" power. "Hey Crain, if this is true, it means this unresponsive mountain range could get quite a hint."

Rudy and Harna talk about what happened with Grandpa Fortune in the harbour town, as I recall. Crain was also concerned, but he also thought it might be better not to believe too much in prophecy, which has nothing to do with the guidance of the goddess Krunair.

"Well, if there's nothing, let's go to the Empire. The only country I haven't been to is the Empire."

"Empire... I don't want to go..."

"We should also go to former Republic territory. Though swallowed by the Empire, there may be hints to the Demon King around there too"

"Oh, yeah."

Two years ago, five proud warriors from five countries went out to the Demon King's Castle.

It was the Empire that moved to the arrow tip where it was reassured that the Demon King was doomed.

Originally the Five Kingdoms would not have united or otherwise had it not been for the threat of the Demon King. Though they had no choice because they were unfamiliar, in an instant the three kingdoms - principality, kingdom and patriarchy - have formed an alliance against the empire that swallowed the Republic.

Until now, Crain, the Divine Son of Light, had made a leisurely journey because he was within the Alliance, but he would have to act securely within the Empire. That goes for Lyudi, the prince of the kingdom.

But the hint to the remaining Demon King was the Empire, or Japone, the Far East island next to the Third Continent... what was not known otherwise.

"Well anyway, whether you go to the Empire or not, you won't be able to conclude that you won't try to get up to the top of this Alphane Mountains first. It's time to get back in strength... what about you guys?

"I'm fine. What about Harna?"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, no!

Pippin 'Jumpin' Harna Friendly Eyes on Crain. LUDY shrugged his shoulder, gently jumping off the rock.

"Well, there's still a little way to the top of the mountain, but let's do our best."

Seeing Lyudi and Harna snort, the line began to attack the Alphan Mountains again.

And that was then.

"Huh!?

"Back off, you guys!

"Hey, what the... pressure...!!

A reflexively caned crane, Lyudi forward to shelter his companions, and Harna, frightened but initiating an opponent.

Surrounding the three of them is tremendous pressure. We can only alert ourselves to the violent intimidation that is so dull and overwhelming that it can also be called heavy pressure, in a mountain path sandwiched by a cut cliff.

"Where......!!

Crain opened his eyes to that squeezing voice of Lyudi.

His eyes so brave are shaking, his mouth trembling with shaking.

It was only fear that Crain and I felt such a mighty power from nowhere, but he was avant-garde... not to mention perhaps the first time for him that he was bewitched with no enemies in the kingdom.

Of the overwhelming strong, air is.

"PLEASE... WHERE IS THE SOURCE...!?

Magic pulse emitted from the sceptre of Harna.

If I could at least figure out where this pressure was coming from, I would have been able to retreat and hit something.

But maybe he reacted too slowly.

Before her exploratory magic takes effect, she flutters and descends before Lyudi, the shadow.

People, not. Two black twisted corners strongly claim its existence.

A flock of blue drifting flutters into the wind pressure and slows its appearance, teasing, and poking the ground is a waste sound.

Is the black aura that surrounds you the flurry of its "power"?

Is there a monster with such power in this world?

"Ahhh... ahhh!!

"Ma'am, Ludi!!

Rudy, who couldn't hold back the tremor or pulled his sword out of the sheath of his hips, sounded a screaming halna voice the moment he tried to jump at that alien.

In the meantime, the demonic shadow did not make it slight. Crain takes his breath at that leeway when he feels Rudy's sword pressure and shows no movement at all.

"Come on..."

Harna passes next to Lyudi, still to be pulled, step by step trembling with fear.

Crain tried to stop her, remembering what she was going to do.

I heard it in town, something called prophecy.

"And then you'll meet a tremendous" force "on the road, it's not the enemy. But I'm not on your side. He also said. I remember you better, Rudy."

Awesome, power.

Isn't the existence of the demon clan in front of you exactly "power" itself?

"Hey, what is it... how are you?"

Crain honestly praised her courage. And I'm ashamed of myself for not being able to do anything. She is speaking without animosity to the threat of fainting just to get close.

If he does badly, he will be killed, and Crain will at least be able to cast a spell immediately. That was the same with Rudy, who didn't move with the sword he had erected in his grip.

No, just deliveries.

"Huh!"

I talked.

And sure, I didn't feel hostile. Purely, I am responding to Harna's words and establishing a conversation.

I wonder what he looks like to Harna, who is a few steps away from the man. I don't know about that, but now I just had to watch her exchange words without pulling a step.

"Delivery too..."?

"It's supposed to be yours. I got it unintentionally. So let me give you this."

"Oh..."

What the man took out of the dressing was a shaped object that he had seen somewhere. That's the key. And we have the same thing, different colors.

"Oh, thank you......"

Making a gentle sound of metal, the key fitted into Harna's hand. To the unexpectedly polite man, Harna shudders but bows her head.

Even if we didn't do badly, we would sink in one blow if we fought ourselves right now.

Don't let that happen.

"Bye."

"Oh, that!

The man who turns his back when he says he's really just here for the delivery.

Not knowing why Harna spoke up, Crain and Rudy heightened their vigilance, but her words were so certain that they were also of their own accord.

"Oh, you know what this key is...?

"You'll see that when you get to the top."

"Huh...!

That's all I said, the man's figure disappeared with the fog.

Weakness, like a real relief from the heavy pressure, envelops the three of them.

"Pfft......! And I thought I wouldn't. Ah...!

"No, thanks to Harna, thanks..."

……

The orange key is held in Harna's hand, which has sat in the middle of nowhere. Crane has exactly the same red key and shape as that. There's always been a question about what the hell it is, but apparently that's also a problem that we'll solve if we go to the summit.

Nevertheless, the three brains were filled with the mystery of who that man was rather than thinking about it.

"... Lyudi?

"... I'm still weak."

"I can't believe Rudy said that."

And the two remaining gaze at the boy who had never uttered a word at all since then. When he finally delivers the sword he was holding to his sheath, he squeezes his own palm and squeals.

"Maybe the place I've been walking was where only weak enemies happened to come out. Such a monster could be doing something about it.... We need to be stronger. To defeat the Demon King."

"Right..."

"One step at a time, good luck?

The strong thing about these three was that they never succumb to fear. What we're losing now, it's not a problem. There was hope because we had not reached our growth limits.

"Let's go, both of us. I hope the tip at the top of the mountain isn't as strong as he is now."

"Oh, one at a time first"

"If you're in a hurry, there's nothing wrong with you!

Looking up at the summit, which is yet to be seen, the three renew their determination.

Another story about the temperamental trio lightly decorating victory over the Four Heavenly Kings of the Demon King they met at the top of the mountain.
