Gu Sewei asked Li Wei why he was so determined to find the Time Secret Realm.

Although the Ice Queen had provided accurate information about the Time Secret Realm’s location and time of appearance, Gu Sewei wasn’t very confident they could actually get in.

Seeing the Time Secret Realm and entering it were two different things.

The Ice Queen had told Li Wei and Gu Sewei this before they set out.

Gu Sewei didn’t hold out much hope.

The Ice Queen had seen the Time Secret Realm more than once, but she had never been able to enter.

She hadn’t hidden this fact from Li Wei.

Faced with Gu Sewei’s question, Li Wei didn’t answer.

He just urged her to hurry. "You’ll find out when we get there."

’Saint Xi has the Time Dragon’s Reversed Scale. With that, there should be a high chance of getting in once we see the Time Secret Realm.’ That’s what Li Wei had to believe.

Li Wei and Gu Sewei hid inside a sealed ice hut, sheltering from the frigid currents blowing outside.

Listening to the shrieking of the cold wind outside, Li Wei was very curious. ’Where do these frigid currents even come from?’

They had already reached the bottom of the Extreme Cold Abyss, yet they still hadn’t found the source of the frigid airflow.

After the howling wind outside weakened and gradually died down, the two finally emerged from the ice hut. Gu Sewei gripped her Frost Staff, sensed their surroundings for a moment to confirm their direction, and then they continued onward.

"Light? There’s light up ahead?"

Li Wei said in a low voice.

Gu Sewei also looked astonished.

It was impossible to know how far the bottom of the Extreme Cold Abyss was from the surface. Even the aurora couldn’t penetrate the heavy darkness to reach the Abyss’s floor.

This place was a completely lightless environment.

Light was incredibly rare.

As they walked, Li Wei would use the Radiance Skill to create a little light to illuminate their surroundings.

Other than that, there was no other light in the Extreme Cold Abyss.

Suddenly seeing a light, both Li Wei and Gu Sewei grew cautious.

He didn’t find anyone.

That didn’t mean the area around the Glowing Crystal was safe.

There were many ways to evade the detection of Spiritual Perception, especially if the enemy party had a powerful Mage.

Not only would Li Wei’s action fail to find the enemy, it might actually expose his own position.

He waited for a moment but didn’t sense any counter-detection from another’s Spiritual Power.

’At least that means there isn’t a Mage in the enemy party whose power far exceeds my own.’

Li Wei suggested, "Let’s go around it. Ignore it."

After thinking for a moment, Gu Sewei nodded in agreement with Li Wei’s suggestion.

He pulled Gu Sewei’s hand and whispered, "They’re right in front of us."

Gu Sewei glanced at him, her expression turning grave. "What should we do?" she asked in a low voice.

"Let’s follow them for a bit and see, then we can decide."

"The Time Secret Realm is up ahead, right?"

Gu Sewei nodded. "Yes. It looks like they’re heading in the same direction as us."

Li Wei was a little puzzled. ’Are these people here to awaken the Ice Emperor?’

’Or are they after the Time Secret Realm?’

’Or maybe... the Ice Emperor’s location is near the Time Secret Realm.’

The two quickened their pace and moved forward.

After closing some distance, the enemy finally entered the range of Li Wei’s Spiritual Perception.

He didn’t dare use his Spiritual Perception to directly probe their power levels.

He kept his Perception Ability at a minimum, just enough to sense the presence of objects.

The few moving objects were still very obvious compared to the stationary surroundings.

Li Wei was afraid that a stronger perception would draw the enemy’s attention.

They maintained a safe distance and followed the group for a while. Suddenly, Gu Sewei spoke up, "Li Wei, the Time Secret Realm is right ahead."

Li Wei looked surprised. "We’re here?"

That group was still moving forward, showing no signs of stopping.

It seemed they really weren’t after the Time Secret Realm.

They continued until they were beyond the range of Li Wei’s perception.

Li Wei and Gu Sewei stopped at the location of the Time Secret Realm, waiting for the moment when the polar day and polar night would shift.
