Monice said, "They’re inside. Underground."

The other man just stood there, completely bewildered, with no idea what was happening.

After some questioning, Li Wei learned the origin of the black fruits from the pleading man.

The black fruits came from a strange fruit tree, and eating them would grant immense Power.

So, he had picked some of the black fruits and was secretly selling them to people who longed for Power.

The bewildered man next to him was one of the innocent people who had eaten a Demon Seed Fruit.
