Gundam Fire Still

The Battle of Gundam Remains Chapter 3

Surely the poor African Community cannot afford such a huge sum...

At this critical juncture, it was the "good" European and American capitalists who stepped forward and vigorously responded to the call of the United Nations. They are scrambling to get into what was once shunned as "black Africa", signing numerous "win-win" agreements that combine environmental improvements with land concessions - contracts that last between 50 and 50 years, given that environmental protection and agricultural development are both long-term endeavors. Between '99....

Right next to "Africa", the "South African unity body", which has led 150 million people into the middle-income bracket, deserves all the respect it can get.

She has been using the hard and soft power of the former "Republic-of-South-africa" carefully and rationally, slowly but surely (!). The World Bank, not the financial capitalists, has been able to expand its influence and thus obtain the largest loans from The-World-Bank since the organization was founded....

South Africa, which also aspires to be a new energy exporter, has the sovereign integrity and political stability to divide its land into "genetically modified fuel crop areas" and "food crop areas" with ease, and even the picky US and Europeans have nothing to say about it.

Since ce30, the "Two Federations (Double-Federation)" have regarded South Africa as a "model of African democracy" and competing with each other - Europe wants to consolidate sea power in the Indian Ocean, further control of the African Community, so South Africa at a very small price to join the construction of the Victoria Spaceport, leapfrogging into the Space Club; the Atlantic Commonwealth opened high-tech export restrictions, and recognized its sea power in the Southeast Atlantic status ...

Once again, land area is one of the decisive factors in determining national power.

The East Asian republics have been plagued by the contradiction between food self-sufficiency and increased fuel production - widespread modernization implies greater energy (fuel) consumption and increased demand for land as living standards rise, coupled with the confrontation with the "two federations" and the urge to exploit space ...

Even comparing only the mainland, East Asia, with its 1 billion people, is the most crowded and least arable of the three major countries. However, the Atlantic Federation also controls South America and shares "Africa" with the Eurasian Federation, and the resulting gap is unpleasant and outrageous - East Asia consumes only 1/10th of the 400 million citizens of the Federation and 1/4th of the 700 million Europeans (its 200 million inhabitants in Asia are not included in this calculation) per capita of corn and soybeans!

It is somewhat reassuring to note that East Asia is the world's number one nuclear power producer, and that a vigorous energy conservation campaign has enabled it to concentrate more of its fuel on the aviation and aerospace industries.

(However, due to the large population base, per capita electricity generation in East Asia is still only 1/2 of that in the Atlantic Ocean and 80% of that in Europe.)

****

But not the population.

Even in the face of constant attacks by Pakistani terrorists, India contributed as much as 3/4 of the births of the 'Equatorial Union'... In 1955, the equatorial population surpassed 1.5 billion...

By God, one has to ask oneself - who will feed India?

The major developed countries (Atlantic, Eurasia, East Asia) finally sat back and unanimously adopted a resolution to bring the United Nations to the forefront. They have only one goal - to introduce family planning in India!

I think it's easier to do the Arabian Nights in the Middle East than this one.

The representative of the Atlantic Commonwealth at the United Nations has privately revealed the "gross interference in the internal affairs of India ..." and "the disregard of the voice of justice and righteousness throughout the world" (from the Government of the Equator). language) the real reason: "Those stupid guys! ...Do they have any idea how much fuel they've eaten? .......

In addition to the huge number of inhabitants of the "underdeveloped" regions driving up energy prices, there is also a fear that the country's burgeoning population could one day be thrown into turmoil by the food crisis - it is calculated that it will have more than 2 billion people in the year ce75...

It turns out that "maintaining stability in the equatorial region" is not just a matter of "learning from the experience" of the East Asian Republics. The United Nations finally ruled that the Equatorial Union must first become self-sufficient in food before the arable land beyond that could be planted with fuel crops - which was tantamount to wiping out its aerospace industry "once and for all". In order to solve their energy problems, countries have had to build a large number of nuclear power plants and pay for their own operation...

After various measures, the equatorial population has finally stopped growing after peaking at 1.7 billion in 1967.

If we can say that the "equatorial union" has played a positive role in the world situation of ce, it is perhaps - to make such a moderate (weak?) of the country lying lazily on the South Asian subcontinent and the Southeast Asian peninsula, but not without serving as a good buffer between several major countries....

According to us, Australia is a "Western" country located in the southern hemisphere. While national interests are not a matter of compassion, it is true that the "United Oceania" has been the least harassed.

The country has a population of only 70 million, so much so that after exporting half of its fuel, Australia's per capita fuel distribution is still 80% that of the Atlantic Commonwealth and twice that of Europe, with a rapidly growing aerospace industry...

However, due to the cover of the equatorial coalition, Oceania lacks a clear threat, military expenditure has always been low, and the overall strength of the three services is even lower than that of South Africa (which holds part of Africa's land and sea power).

In addition, Oceania was unable to participate in the construction of the L5 satellite constellation, and when the satellite was seen to be estranged from the member countries, the Canberra government (the Australian capital), eager to get a share of the "space dividend", misjudged the situation and went so far as to sell food and supplies to the L5 rebels. The move offends the Big Three and gives itself, which is rich in natural resources, the "privilege" of being in the adjuster's "crosshairs" ...

-the combination of the above would have led directly to Australia being "entrusted" by ZaFT lightning in ce70....

In the early years of ce, the simultaneous transformation of energy sources, the consolidation of nations, and the development of space (though I have to put them in order in my description) have made our world both exciting and confusing. Excited social analysts, competing to publish their own doctrines, try to outline the blueprint for a new era of humanity...

In the meantime, a naive view briefly prevailed, namely, that both the designation of the "Big Three" and the reality of the contraction into two-oceanic States indicated that the Atlantic Commonwealth was being overtaken by a large number of emerging countries and that the international order monopolized by Washington no longer existed (?!). ...

Unfortunately, most researchers and leaders of nations, while claiming to hear "clearly" the footsteps of the cosmic age, are still bound to the ground by the "gravity" of the old order. Those who are wise may see the nature of the Federation's "voluntary concessions", but in the end they cannot resist reaching out for the benefits that are right in front of them....

Eventually, they had to abandon the old doctrine of international relations (not to mention that the original system of international politics was the creation of the United States of America) and once again recognize, and submit to, the new century, the new rules, the new order dominated by North America and Britain....

Note: Although the electric propeller plane/helicopter is the easiest to implement, there is a problem in terms of engineering principles and cost considerations - the weight of a normal aircraft will be reduced as fuel is consumed, but the battery that runs out of energy cannot be discarded, in other words, the greater the range, the more "dead weight" of the battery plane. In addition, it was impossible to ignore the landing problem, and the heavier battery-powered machines were obviously not as safe as the regular models that could drain fuel and reduce weight...

In the jet engine and rocket engine, the battery can only provide energy, the aircraft has to carry additional mass: for example, a designer proposed the use of electricity to heat water into high-temperature steam and then sprayed out, and its principle of reverse thrust is no different from the jet and rocket. However, the thrust and size of this engine were unsatisfactory, and it was only used in a small number of spacecraft in the CE.

However, one extremely resource-poor organization, without access to a stable source of biofuel for a long period of time, has used this "all-electric propulsion system" extensively to create a variety of electric toys ranging from large warships to small mS....

------. ------. ------. -Transferer's note -.... ------. ------. ------. ------. --- The question about why East Asia would abandon a group of allies that existed on the surface, including Bartholomew, is simply because, as a setting party that is more respectful of the original, we Constrained by the extent of East Asia on the original author's map by FT. In other words, FT says East Asia just isn't expanding there, and we'll have to help him brainstorm why.

Möbius Reloaded

Type of fuselage: MA for general purpose space warfare

Manufacturer: United Earth Force, Lockheed. Martin Space Systems, Inc.

Affiliation: United Earth Force

Initial equipment: CE70

Interior environment: Vertical two-seater cockpit

Organs Explained.

Due to the fact that, at the beginning of the war, the Möbius, the main mobile weapon of the United Forces, was unable to compete with the Zaft equipped MS in combat, and due to the fact that the United Forces could not develop and mass produce the MS in a short period of time, the United Space Force Equipment Committee had to ask the various arms and flight/spacecraft manufacturers on Earth for their proposals for the current Möbius. improvement program. One of the models that passed the initial approval, with the exception of the Möbius 0 provided by a consortium, was the FA-Full Armor Möbius program with additional armor provided by Lockheed Martin. Subsequently, three validation units of the modified FA Möbius scheme were produced and renamed the Möbius H, Heavy Duty scheme, which underwent a series of field tests on the lunar surface Grimaldi front in June CE70. The aircraft's original fragile armor was strengthened throughout and additional armor was added to the thruster modules on both sides, as well as around the central cockpit, and the central fuselage was lengthened and replaced with a two-seat cockpit. In order to maintain the original acceleration and maneuverability, the output of the thrusters and posture adjustment jets were increased, while the thruster modules on both sides were enlarged. Although the increase in weight resulted in higher fuel consumption, the increased defensive power and uncompromised maneuverability were enough to offset some of the complaints caused by fuel consumption.

Armed commentary.

The machine follows most of the skeleton of the Möbius, but its armament has been greatly modified from the prototype in response to the new battlefield situation that arose with the advent of neutron jamming and MS on the battlefield. The original fixed 30mm cannon, criticized for its difficulty in penetrating the Ginn's frontal main armor belt, was replaced by two 75mm linear cannons, and although their rate of fire was not comparable to that of the cannon, their excellent armor-piercing performance allowed the machine to kill MS effectively even without a mount. It still has excellent armor-piercing ability. In order to compensate for the MA's inability to turn in place and its vulnerability to attack from the rear, the original fixed 30mm cannon is mounted in the gyratory turret and moved to the rear of the fuselage, and the fire range of the two gyratory turrets can cover the entire rear hemisphere of the fuselage, in order to contain enemy aircraft in the rear or intercept incoming missiles. There are three Javelin missile launchers on each side of the fuselage, which can fire improved Javelin missiles with a total of 12 rounds of ammunition, and 6 rounds in one shot. Its locking system can theoretically track 12 targets and attack 6 of them at the same time, but its locking effect and range are greatly weakened due to neutron interference.

This improved model retains the rich weaponry of the Möbius mount, and as the size of the aircraft increases, the number of mount points has been increased accordingly, with the original one mount point under the belly being increased to three, and the range of weapons that can be selected has also been expanded.

The Mk48 heavy anti-ship missile and the Mk47 laser torpedo are in fact air-launched versions of weapons fired from torpedo tubes on the port side of 130m-class frigates, and later Drake class frigates. The former is powerful, but has a long flight time and can be easily intercepted or evaded, so better attack results can be achieved by firing them through the MA reach; the latter, as a disposable beam weapon, has features that make beam weapons difficult to intercept and evade, and can be fired at longer distances to ensure a hit. They are equipped so that the MA is also capable of destroying ships on its own, but the maneuverability of the MA with heavy anti-ship rounds is more compromised and often requires escort.

The Tigerfish wire-guided missile is a traditional medium-sized anti-ship weapon, and the Harpoon MkII is replacing the old-fashioned Harpoon MkII. One MA can fire a maximum of nine rounds at once, which is not powerful enough to shake large warships, but enough to cause damage to small ships. When the MA with medium missiles and the heavy missile carrier are in mixed formation, the medium missiles can attract enemy interceptor fire to a certain extent and increase the probability of the heavy missiles hitting.

The Javelin pods use the same type of improved Javelin missile as the fixed launcher, and although its predecessor was a light anti-aircraft/anti-armor missile for man-use, its improved charge is sufficient to penetrate the Ginn's frontal armor, and the ability to fire multiple flush shots makes it difficult to intercept, improving the success of the attack.
