Gundam Fire Still

The Battle of Gundam Remains Chapter 40

, until the end of their journey, the PLANT Supreme Council. Theoretically, all decisions of PLANT are made by these 12 representatives from 12 but satellites, and at its center, Sigurdsson. Chancellor Klein, the nominal head of state, but there is another person in a different and special position among them, Patrik. Sara, the top military councilor of the military organization ZAFT, the man with the military power of PLANT in hand.

And it was this man's voice that put an end to the almost uncontrollable whispers and noises caused by the reports about the destruction of Heliopolis.

"-But, Captain Kreuzer." Patricia. Sara's voice.

The MS that overshadowed the others' "Earth Force" in an instant.

, is there really a value that requires so much sacrifice to get?"

Crusher, who had just made the controversial report, replied fluently, as if he had expected to be asked, "I think the only question about its amazing performance would be to ask Aslan Krause, who flew one of the first planes and fought the last one left in the enemy's fleet, to tell us about its amazing performance. Sara to give her report."

As if on a scripted stage - so the thought went through his mind, Aslan stood up. The screen behind him reflected the image of the S.H.I.E.L.D. Gundam. As the image switched to a battle situation, there was a murmur of surprise among the council members.

"First of all, it's this airframe known as the 'SHIELD Gundam'..."

Feeling like an amateur who had been thrust onto the stage, Aslan began his report.

The facts were clear enough.

The armor-piercing capabilities possessed by a beam rifle better suited to combat.

resistance to live ammunition afforded by PS armor.

An excellent spear plus an excellent shield, plus, the blue, white, and red airframe that flew smoothly in the battle video, and a Ginn that made a kick + beam rifle combo could represent the OS system.

Adjusters were already thinking faster than the average person, and sitting in this conference room were the elite of PLANT's various satellites, and without much hesitation, a look of bitterness had slowly crept onto their faces.

Even though they didn't want to admit it in their hearts, they were afraid that they were inferior to the lesser races, even though they had always held a sense of superiority over natural humans. And this fear, which was difficult to face, was slowly moving towards reality.

Some kind of inexplicable confusion seemed to be sweeping through this meeting room.

"Silence! Gentlemen of the committee, silence, please!"

After the quarrelsome council finally returned to silence, Patric's steady voice spoke up.

"-No one wants war..."

That caused the crowd to mutter and look towards him.

"Just want peace and stability - to live happily ever after...that's all we want."

The councillors all nodded silently. At this point, Patric's voice was suddenly agitated.

"But who has ruthlessly crushed this wish? Who is it that only ties down and uses us Adjusters for their own desires and convenience, all the time? We'll never forget..."

He looked firmly and forcefully around the faces of the crowd. "...that 'bloody f*cking festival' - 'Uneos'

No. 'The tragedy of the-!"

His words stopped abruptly for an instant, as if something different from what the script had been, some new message popped up forcefully on the terminal, and though he tried to control the change in his demeanor, his tone suddenly became subdued.

"And now, a new tragedy is once again before us." As if this wasn't part of the script as it should be, "To 'Uneos'

The 'No.' went to the inspection ship preparing for the memorial service, and the sound was cut off."

........

The silence, or the noise, no longer matters, the facts before us are enough for the speaker and the audience to draw their own conclusions

"We are fighting to protect ourselves..."

PATRICK. Sara resolutely declared her firm will in the midst of the silence.

"-Since you can't protect it without fighting, there's only one battle...!"

These words, which seemed like a declaration of war report, were uttered long after the war had already begun.

And on the other side.

The remaining G-series airframes brought back by the Lorasian-class Gamovs that had just entered port were being surrounded by PLANT technicians. Both the fuselage, which was almost completely covered in PS armor, and the arms of the dueling Gundams, which had been half melted down even though they were covered in PS armor. They didn't know that they didn't have much time left to spend on research and mapping, and the Kruse team and the MS under him would soon be engaged in a new mission. But they would soon learn that PLANT's national idol, LAX. News of Klein's disappearance.

------- Here are the author's delimiters -------.

Note: Lt. Gen. George Dewey, from Big Frog's United Counterattack. Lt. Gen. Dewey, from Big Frog's United Rebellion

Note 2: Dueling Gundam's arm was melted down in the anime, but then mysteriously grew back afterwards, so obviously it's more logical to pull it back and fix it.

Warrant Officer J. Warrett, Eighth Fleet 130m-class frigate.

The observer of the Cassandra was pointlessly scanning the seemingly empty space ahead with the telescope mounted on the bow of the ship. It's not a particularly boring job, especially when the person behind the telescope, or rather facing the display screen receiving the telescope's eyepiece, is a college graduate studying astronomy. When the Hubble series of space telescopes used to observe distant galaxies are being commandeered to monitor the departure of nearby (relatively) PLANT ships, an astronomy graduate manning a telescope on the bridge isn't really something to complain about.

But what is the fleet doing here?

Low orbit was, if not quite the ZAFT's backyard, at least considered the ZAFT's more powerful zone - as evidenced by the flagship's constant emphasis on increased air surveillance. But was it really okay for the entire Eighth Fleet to just grin and grind and discharge textbook box formations in low orbit? The fact that there were two other cruisers inside the formation moving around with auxiliary jets on because they weren't lined up properly enough was like a training exercise rather than a combat mission as originally stated. What was even more confusing was that the flagship Menelaus had released communications relay drones into the interior of the Shattered Belt for no apparent reason. Did Commodore Halbarton have some sort of deal with the usual waste merchants in the gravel belt, so much so that he wanted the entire Eighth Fleet to escort him? Is he going to sell his flagship as scrap metal?

In fact, shortly after the voyage, Halbarton received a report from the Space Early Warning Observatory, which simply stated that the PALNT had a fleet on the voyage. Far from making the Commodore cautious, this fact strengthened his resolve that the Archangel must be found - that the last remaining fruit must be protected before those ZAFTs showed up, ah?

The communication relay drones soon returned with the encouraging news that the first intermittent, then becoming quite smooth, communications link had connected smoothly to the target of his search, and the comforting feeling of relief that sent a sigh of relief was simultaneously present on the two bridges connected by radio waves - and, perhaps, a third?

The first to be observed, only a series of low orbiting sunlight reflecting bright spots, then, the outline and details of the ship slowly revealed, but the fleet still has a small like a toy unreal feeling.

On the other side of the telescope screen, also projected the figure of a white battleship with long legs. The broadcast on the fleet channel sounded in due time, "This fleet is conducting an engagement operation against the Archangel belonging to the Second Special Service Fleet......."

Voret wasn't paying any attention at all to the broadcast, and when the incoming ship came within radar and communications distance, there was theoretically nothing left for the observer to do. And the Cassandra, a frigate in one of the top corners of the Eighth Fleet box formation, was responsible for a considerable area of air surveillance.

In fact he hadn't moved his telescopic field of view for several minutes, and there was a distant blur of light being placed in the center of his field of view. And for several minutes it had steadily maintained its initial position in the telescope's field of view. Both its position and its fuzzy form were proving that it was not a star, but the young astronomy graduate could not for a moment think of any other object that would maintain its angle of relative spherical coordinates to the orbiting object, the fleet, while having the Fuzzy look.

The Eighth Fleet of the United Earth Forces - the fleet led by Admiral Halbarton, more than 20 ships of different sizes are lined up in a standard box array, "welcome home" light signal to their first meeting companions.

Though it was himself who was sailing towards it, it seemed to the crowd on board the Archangel that the stately column of ships was slowly approaching and surrounding the Archangel, of which the most conspicuous target, the flagship, the Meneravos, seemed to be steadily approaching.

"Have them come alongside, dock on the starboard side of this ship, and prepare the traffic boat." Halbarton gave the instructions ignoring the attempt of his second-in-command, Colonel Hoffman, to make an incoming motion. He was indeed anxious to see the warship, which had only been built with his strong support, and he could see through the screen that the elegant white hull was making a 180-degree turn on the starboard side of his own flagship, the mottled scars on the hull from fighting and crossing the rubble belt clearly visible.

"The traffic boat is ready, Commodore."

Halbarton stood up sharply from his command chair, "The bridge is yours." , he said to the captain below as he floated to the back hatch.
