Hakai no Miko

[]/(n) (comp) preamble/

There is a mountain range called the Uwalalps. It is a huge mountain range located slightly west of the centre of the continent. It is a harsh land with wind and snow in winter, with peaks like white hats that can't be solved even in summer.

Uwalarpus, the name of the mountain range, is the ancient language of the centre of the continent, which means "the wall of the world", as a source of words. For those who lived in the middle of the ancient continent, the Uwaralps meant the end of the world.

However, as the range of people's activities expanded with the times, people noticed that another world was also spreading beyond the Uwalarpus Mountains. And it wasn't the spirits, phantom beasts, etc. that came out of the legend that were there, but the likeness of people who were no different from ourselves.

Those who found out about it understood for the first time that Uwalarpus was not the end of the world or anything else, but just a wall separating the regions.

And the people of the centre of the continent called the newly found world the western region over their complacency that they were the center of the world.

But even if you say western zone in one mouth, its range is wide.

First of all, the wilderness stretches over the hemline of the Uwalarpus Mountains. It is a dangerous place where various barbarians, large and small, live and where disputes between tribes are constant.

And what lies ahead is a coalition of eight small nations - countries called the Eight Kings United Nations. This coalition of eight small nations, of different sex and race, is one in which the other seven nations have formed an alliance to fight together, no matter what country is attacked.

The western part of the Eight Kings Union is what should be called the heart of the western region. There are the two great powers, the Holmeer and Romanian, which contend over the hegemony of the western region, and the small country Balgibor in the mountainous areas of the north in a way sandwiched by them.

And from the centre of this western region, slightly to the west, Jeboa, a maritime nation thriving in marine transactions in the Benes Inland Sea. Further west in the sea floats the Kingdom of Shpamul, known as the End Country.

A vast area, including these countries, is called the West End.

Now, the history of this western region was also the history of the war that began with the collapse of one great power.

Once following neighboring countries and flourishing in the heart of the West Side, that power was torn apart by a bone meat feud between two princes, Holmeianis and Romanianis. The two torn powers will then each name themselves the Holmeer and Romanian countries and will cross spears with each other several times as uncluttered haters.

In addition, in the midst of that dispute, the two countries that took each other for cancer swallowed up one small neighboring country after another. In the process, one small country skilfully chose a path to cross between the Holmeer and Romanian countries, while another small country joined forces and chose a path against both countries.

And the result is a map of forces in the western realm today.

It was thus the western realm that was dawning in the war, but it was at a time of calm at the end of the battle in which the present Romanian king Dordea, who had attacked Holmea more than thirty years ago, suffered a disastrous defeat by the famous general Darius. Regardless, there were some skirmishes, but at least the battle to name the country lurked the ringing.

But while enjoying this peace, everyone living in the West was aware that under it a large amount of oil boiled down with guts, and that even a tiny spark would be the fire that would burn all of the West region in an instant (again).

But until the spark finally arrives, it's impossible to know.

Again, there was about to be a flame of war in this western region.

◆ ◇ ◆ ◇ ◆

An unexpected visitor arrived at the court of the Holmeer State that day.

It is a bald old man. Its back length was low enough to be seen as a child, and its body was as thin as a dead tree. But whoever so insults this old man is not alone in the Holmeer country.

For it is this old man, Pompius the Great Chancellor, who waved his spicy arm in diplomacy and internal affairs under the king, and was also honored with the right arm of the king.

Pompius, however, more than twenty years ago, with the fall of his predecessor, resigned from his duties, and from then on, was a man who was drawn to the territory and never tried to appear on the table.

In the sudden visit of such a figure, the marquis, who lived in the midst of the sight, was wrapped in unbearable tension.

That is no exception with Warius Sadma Holmeanis, King of Holmea. He was also nervous about the sudden visit of the former Grand Chancellor, who waved his spicy arms under his father's king, and had been messing with his whiskers for a long time.

First, Pompius enters from the greeting of the hour and apologizes for the disrespect he had not served for a long time. Besides, King Walius asked the reason for this visit when he gave forgiveness with generous mercy.

Pompius then asked:

"If His Majesty Walius, the Great King, is the greatest enemy that the Holmeer nation must now discuss, how can we contemplate?

Besides, King Walius, who was frightened in his heart about how he could be told about difficult questions and murders, would clap himself out.

"It is a Romanian country"

King Walius affirmed with confidence. If you're a human being in Holmeer country, even children know that.

Pompius, however, shook his head wide aside.

"Not really."

Towards the astonishing King Walius and the Horsemen, Pompius affirmed:

"Now, Holmeer is the most desperate enemy. - That's the rebels of Bornis. And it's the Son of Destruction!

But the statement was greeted with the bitter laughter of King Walius and the Horsemen.

It has been five years since the city of Bornis, the westernmost part of the Holmeer nation, was dropped by Zoan and his slaves, led by a man named "Son of Destruction". However, only one local city was dropped. Whatever the impetus was to attack the other cities, Zoan and the slaves were just satisfied with their control of the city of Bornis, or they were just pulling there.

If you try to make it a Holmeer country, the intrusion is just a rebellion of fallen Zoan and slaves. If it weren't for the hostile Romanian kingdom, which crawled through this gap, they would have been so repressed.

I remember the face of General Darius, who was complaining about the dangers of the slaves just like Pompius, and King Walius becomes grumpy. According to the story, Darius still complains about the perils of the rebels every time something happens.

"Sir Pompius' prophecy, indeed, was received. Is that all you have to do?

The story is no longer over. In the words of King Walius, who had just told him to leave early if there was nothing else, Pompius invited a squire who had refrained behind him. Then a squire advances forward with a dedicated scroll placed on a cloth with a luxurious embroidery. One of the samurai received it and asked King Walius with his gaze. Besides, King Walius just asked me to read it out, and I would sneeze my jaw and show it to him.

And it was the quantity of cereals, including wheat, and the number of gold and silver coins, the population of each occupational group, and the number of caravans visited, that were read out by the sailors in a string-lined voice of scrolls. In such an enormous quantity, the dwellers lean their necks as to which country they are from.

Pompius answered with a full glance as to what the hell this number was.

"All of this is in the city of Bornis, occupied by the rebels"

King Walius lifted his hips from the throne to the answer, and the queens who lived side by side began to groan incredibly. All the numbers read earlier do not seem to belong to the local cities. In terms of wheat and other harvests, it is enough to try to compare it to a single Holmeer country.

"Do you understand? The city of Bornis is no longer just a regional city. It boasts a grain harvest comparable to that of a single country, producing a variety of rare products one after the other."

Pompius suddenly changed the subject there.

"By the way, have you recently heard that Your Majesty is a regular user of rare alcohol?

Pompius was right, and King Walius was recently embedded in a certain liquor. It is what is called golden liquor because of its beautiful shades like amber and the words "it is as if you are melting and drinking gold coins" at such an expensive price that your eyes pop out.

"Did His Majesty know that the golden liquor is what makes it 'Yusuki', made in the city of Bornis?

King Walius was stunned. Plus Pompius puts on a chase.

"That's not all. Glass vessels used when His Majesty is drinking them, even ornaments and soapy ones that are endemic among the ladies of yesterday. It's all in what was born in the city of Bornis. A lot of gold and silver is pouring out of our country to the city of Bornis to buy these things."

Pompius went on to say "Your Majesty" after confirming that the shock he had brought had been passed on to King Walius and the Horsemen in twelve minutes.

"Do not insult the city of Bornis as a regional city occupied by Zoan and slaves. If we use this enormous amount of grain and money to bolster our forces, it can be a major threat to our Holmeer."

Pompius turns a harsh tone into something soft.

"But if we change the way we see it, the city of Bornis is like a fruit that has just ripened and ripened. If my Holmeer country gets this, it's exactly in sweet dew. With this enormous grain and funding, Holmea can feed a million troops. If you do, you won't be afraid of the resentful Romanians."

And Pompius told him to whisper sweetly in his ear.

"Western reunification is the candidacy of the Holmeer State. For that great cause too, you will not be attacked down the city of Bornis first, Your Majesty"

King Walius, who was overwhelmed by the words of Pompius, nodded one by one. Then the more I think about it again, the more I see that Pompius is right. Furthermore, King Walius rose from the throne because of the nod.

"I tell everyone. For the rest, let us accept Sir Pompius' prophecy. We must all do our utmost to defeat the rebels who occupy the city of Bornis."

"" As His Majesty wishes!

And the chief ministers and the priests that were in the hall, how were they summoned?
