Hakai no Miko

Episode 29 Copper Mountain (Previous)

Marben Copper Mountain is the largest copper mountain in the western region boasted by Holmea.

This Copper Mountain originally belonged to the Dwarves living in northern Holmea. They used to export high-quality copper mined and smelted in Copper Mountain to Holmeer.

But about a decade ago, the Holmeer Nation suddenly invaded Marben Copper Mountain. It is Holmeer's argument that Dwarves and others let them grab crude copper.

Naturally, it was an argument for not getting Copper Mountain.

The Dwarves are naturally outraged by this and go out to set up a thorough anti-war.

At this time, the armies of the Holmeer nation that were directed to Marben Copper Mountain were about eight thousand. By contrast, the Dwarf clan that lived in Marben Copper Mountain totaled less than five thousand. But that was the number, including the old ladies and children, to a good extent, if there were a thousand resilient young men who could actually fight.

The Dwarves of Marben Copper Mountain, who were thought to be easily subdued, show an unexpected struggle. They tormented the Holmeer nation many times by stretching strong bases around Copper Mountain.

But the struggle didn't last long either.

King Walius, who had boiled down to Dwarf's rebellion, summoned back General Darius, who was consolidating his border with Romania. The situation in Marben Copper Mountain was reversed once and for all by Darius' participation in the battle, known as Holmeer's best general. Then in less than a month, Marben Copper Mountain fell, and all the defeated dwarves were enslaved and continued to be severely abused in the mine.

There are no walls in the city of Marben Copper Mountain with such a history.

That is because we use numerous dwarf slaves for copper mining and refining. Because even if they rebel and get the mine back, it's easy to take it back without the city walls.

For this reason, only the short fence separated the city from the outside, and all the objects built in several parts of the city were not directed outside the city, but towards the inside.

The soldier who stood on the lookout with such a sight found it when he happened to be spared time and looked out of the city.

"... what, that?

I saw something like a yellow cloud in the southwest direction from the city. When you look at it, it looks like it's earthquake. If you look underneath, you can see a number of shadows like black dots that roll up soot and smoke and walk.

Originally, soldiers had to be on guard at this point. However, soldiers who did not see it attacked from the outside in the first place watched the soot smoke with just the right amount of spare time.

It wasn't until such a soldier finally realized what was going on that it was also clear to his eyes that it was hundreds of Zoan populations coming up the earth smoke and rushing through the earth.

"Zo, Zoan?! Why are those guys here?!"

The soldier on the lookout, jumping on a horn that was hanging, blows it full of strength. When the horn sounded a few times all over the city, the sound of grinding the ore with a hammer, which had been constantly heard until then, disappeared.

Instead, I begin to hear the whining of the soldiers of the Holmeer National Army who were stationed in this city.

The soldiers were finally aware of the anomaly, but most of them went to copper refineries and mines instead of being able to prepare for the Zoan raid.

Because the anomaly they assumed was an accident in a pit or a refinery, or a rebellion of the Dwarves imprisoned there. As a result, instead, it kept people away from the protection of the fence that surrounded the city.

What has entered there at once is the black-haired brave Faggul-Gargus Gallum, who is also the chief of the Fang Clan and the great chief of all the Plains clans.

Running like a black breeze with four legs, Gallum, jumping over the fence one by one with its momentum, slashed and dumped unquestioned with a mountain knife that pulled the soldier who was there in the air.

"Zoog! I'm headed to the settlement! I'll take care of Copper Mountain!

To Gallum's voice, he said, "Whoa!" Answered is Kraga Bigana Zug, the chief of the Claw Clan, known alongside Garam, the strongest brave man on the plains. This red-haired giant points toward the mountain with a large mountain sword already wet with the blood of soldiers from the Holmeer country.

"Don't give them a gap to get back on their feet, control them all at once! I won't allow a fat rabbit like you!

Then I looked back and yelled.

"Hey, come on!

It was Dwarf warrior Dvarin on the back of a horse who just stepped over a knocked down fence. But you'd be right to say that the figure is put on rather than on it.

In Dwarf's foot, there's no way he can catch up with Zoan's foot, who was finally called the champion of the plain. I can't even ride a horse because my hands and feet are short.

Therefore, as a measure of distress, it was roped to the back of the horse as if it were luggage. Naturally, in such a state, the swing of a running horse is transmitted directly. As a result, he had a dark mustache that was difficult to understand, but Doverlyn's face was nauseous and bright blue.

"Oh, my God!

Still vain and absurd his voice, Dvarin speaks to the dwarves in a similar state that follows behind him.

"You guys, raise your voices! - Brothers, I'm here to help you with the beasts! Come on, take the hammer! Stand up with me!

The second half of Dvarin's stretched voice was Dwarf. They followed Zoog as they were followed by a call for bees (brooms) from Dwarves and others serving in Copper Mountain.

For its part, the Holmeer State could not even resist this sudden raid by Zoan and Dwarf.

Zoan and his men made full use of their legs to succeed in taking control of the city's strongholds and separating the soldiers faster than the soldiers of the Holmeer country could grasp the situation. For this reason, the soldiers of the Holmeer country had to fight in buildings and other places for each small group at their discretion.

But that, in turn, tricks the Zoans.

It is a time when glass windows and the like are not popular. Windstorms are a priority and dim in dwellings where there is not much thought of lighting. Stepping into such a place from a bright outside place is like being wrapped in darkness until your eyes get used to it. How many soldiers have been waiting for them? Zoan's warriors in the war just burned their hands on this.

But only Zoog rode in as a delight.

"Whoa! I'll get in the way!

A sword swung down from his right hand as he visited the house he knew but entered the dwelling with ease, and from the front he was greeted by a protruding spear tip.

Besides, Zug hits hard in the center of his face with a mountain knife pattern without even looking at the soldier slashed from his right hand first. With Zug's powers, that alone will crush the soldier's nose bones, a deadly blow that will even damage the brain marrow behind it.

Then gasp the pattern with your left hand, which stretches out the spear protruding from the front unconstructively. Then, when I wonder if I could force myself on that thick arm, I attract the spear-by-spear soldier without allowing a moment of resistance. And with an unquestioned blow by a right-hand mountain knife, he smacked the brainy of a soldier with every helmet.

If you make just a few mistakes, you'll be slapped with a sword, and wind holes will be holed in your torso with a spear. (AYA) For the first time in a fight, rather, the warriors following Zug cool their liver.

If we keep fighting like this, we'll only get paid back. Concerned about it, one warrior makes recommendations to Zug, who tries to go to control his next residence.

"Angry Claws." Wouldn't it be better to step back a little?

I was that warrior who was so prepared to be pissed off that he wasn't such a weak guy, but Zoog's answer was:

"What? I just got back on track. I'm not gonna do it on your behalf."

The warrior is taken aback by Zoog, who returns it in a shank of tone, as if he were a child about to be taken away with an important toy. If he was slapped on the shoulder and looked back, he was shaking his neck small, left and right, like a warrior from the same [claw clan] as Zoog would tell him to give up.

At that rate, it was when Zoog took control of all four of the soldiers' dwellings. From the entrances and refineries of the mines that Zoog and others were aiming for, more and more shouted.

And from there, the soldiers of the Holmeer kingdom flee with their bodies. And the Dwarves showed up to follow it further.

"What, have you beeped (broom) already? I wish I'd been a little later."

Jesus Christ and Zug slapping a ton of shoulders on the back of a mountain knife is right, and that was the Dwarf slaves who beeped up in response to Dvarin's call. Without underwear (if worn) like a borough cloth, they slaughter the soldiers with hammers, fire sticks, etc. they had in front of Zoog and the others watching.

Soldiers desperately resist or beg for their lives, but the accumulated hatred of the Dwarves does not stop. One person is rarely beaten to death. Still, some dwarves whose anger did not subside even continued to beat the already breathless soldiers.

After a while, the tragedy finally ended, but there were no touching occasions such as when the Dwarves, who were thrilled to be liberated, exchanged a hot embrace with the Zoans, the liberators. Instead, with suspicion and vigilant eyes as to why Zouan came, we distract Zoug and the others.

Scratching the Zoan warriors there, Dvarin came forward.

"My name is Doverlin of Steel! Make it a former Obsidian kingdom bloodline, and now a Bornis bloodline warrior leader! I came to liberate you according to your desire! Do you know anyone named Nar?!"

To the words of Dvarin, the Dwarves of Marben Copper Mountain go out of their way. After a while, the old Dwarf, characterized by a large dough nose placed more and more in the middle of his face and a rich red-brown mustache knitted in three fine knits, came out with a tuluhashi in his shoulder.

"Wow, Norzuri from Redbeard! Marben's blood warrior chief!

Doverin and Norzuri walked over and first touched each other's mustaches, then held each other tight.

"It's getting a lot late, but forgive me"

To Doverin, who apologizes so, Norzuri shakes his neck wide and sideways.

"Something to piss me off! - My son Nahl failed, and I wondered if he had died in the wild, but did he do his duty safely?"

To the name Nahl out of Norzuri's mouth, Dvarin becomes a face swallowed of bitter things.

"Have you got a son..."

But Norzuri, unaware of it, bowed his head.

"I'm sorry I've just been helped, but I want to help you now. In the neighbourhood, the queen is being held captive. I want to help you with that."

It was Zug who answered that wish.

"Oh. Then don't worry. My countrymen are already on their way. Besides, it's a warrior with great skill who leads them."

So Zoog laughs at the prank.

"Well, if you're just a little bit younger than me, you'll lose your arm."
