Hakai no Miko

Episode 93: Kalileya Conflict 1 - God of War

A confrontation between the Army of the Holmeer and the Army of the Romanian Nation took place on the plains of Calilea.

This Plain of Karileya is a plain on the way from Gatzen, the great city in the eastern part of the Holmeer country, straight down the public street to the Wang capital. Approximately, that is where it becomes the border between the eastern and central parts of the Holmeer State.

If we can get through here to the Romanian National Army, the Holmeer State will wear the unwieldy stigma of allowing Romanian aggression to reach the country's central zone. For that reason, at any rate, I wanted to stop the Romanian National Army here. He also wanted to repel the invaders as soon as possible to regain his royal prestige and bring peace to the country, and while aware of his inferior disadvantage to his forces on the plains, he tried to intercept the Romanian National Army here.

And even though they are plundering cities and villages, even as the Romanian National Army, anxious about the barracks on enemy land, has no objection to an early settlement.

And thus became the battlefield of the plains of Calileah.

First, it was King Walius of Holmea, who came forward only with a small offering from both opposing armies, and Vritas, now named King of Orthodox Holmea.

It is a tongue battle before the war.

It's like a ritual in this day and age in which battles are held before each other to promote their own arousal by asserting their own legitimacy, and to demoralize the enemy army by sounding the other's nonsense.

First, it was King Walius who opened his mouth first.

"My brother - no, I no longer call him my brother. My country and I sold our souls to the Romanian cattle, you vile pig Vritas! If you know the word shame as much as a shard, press your forehead on the ground right now and apologize to your father, then hurl yourself immediately!

Vritas also responds to this.

"I must apologize to my father, my brother - no, Walius! It's you! Forgive your incompetence and tyranny. That is why the Holmeer kingdom is disturbed, and I must stand with the help of King Dordea!

That was the only way we were bumping each other's claims. The two, who became more excited, began to curse their opponents rather than bump into each other, and to reward them with derogatory cursing gossip.

"I thought you were an ugly, fat pig, but you were a pig to the sexual root! Buhibhi and happy pigs given leftovers over Dordea! The rest, they ham themselves!

"If I were a pig, wouldn't my brother be a monkey! Strip your teeth out, you key-key and noisy crowned monkey! Monkeys, go back to the mountains like monkeys!

At last, they started a childish cursing battle with each other in an odd voice.

To this ugliness, King Dordea, who had deliberately come out to admire the tongue battle over his rear main regiment, showed a grand cold smile in his mouth.

"Ha. What's wrong with this? I came to watch the rest of the tongue fight, but the animals seem to be barking at each other?

And King Cesar responds, who was similarly smiling coldly and watching the tongue battle.

"It would be a good pleasure to draw the curtain of the demise of the Holmeer nation."

And King Dordea answered with a laugh.

It is an unusual thing to have King Cesar on this occasion now.

When a great battle is about to be fought between nations against each other's armies, next to the king of his own country, who is also the general general, it is something that keeps those from other countries so close together, albeit the same king. If he were to assassinate King Dordea by multiplying the chaos of battle, it would be important.

However, following the intermediary to Vritas, King Cesar, who showed off his brilliant crosslinking in rappley, had a glimpse not only of King Dordea, but also of the officers of the Romanian nation, who also took this unusual treatment for granted.

The only exception was General Daraios.

Darius turned his back subtly, and if King Cesar were to show any disturbing movement, he was willing to slaughter this creepy king without question.

But even King Cesar seemed to be aware of that.

Occasionally, King Cesar looks back at Darius standing behind himself and turns to that reptile grin.

It's also a pleasure to be slaughtered and killed.

That's what I keep saying.

Darius couldn't stop the poppy from standing on just one arm.

While doing so, King Walius and Vritas returned to their own army, leaving behind a tightening complaint in the tongue battle that they would "settle on a soldier horse".

King Cesar secretly summons his squire as he descends backwards with King Dordea, who says in his heart that it was a "brilliant tongue battle" to the returning Vritas.

"Where is Darius?

The squire, who had already received a report from a secret detective, responds promptly to the Lord's inquiry.

"It's behind Warius' main unit."

Apparently, King Walius is still trying to defeat Darius even here.

And when king Cesar laughed, saying that Darius would not have reported it, the sound of a drum was sounded from the armies of both sides, as if he had made an announcement.

It is time to start a war.

The loud drums, which are beaten as if they compete with each other in the magnitude of their sounds, summon and echo throughout the plain of Calilea.

Along with that, both armies began marching.

The first to move was a unit of lightly armed infantry centered on archers that both armies placed in the front.

As they stepped forward in a quick move, the enemy soldiers stopped at a distance of the arrows. And when they form a defensive wall with a shield held by the soldiers, the archers start releasing arrows toward the enemy while hiding there.

A large number of arrows just filled the sky flew, and the noisy noise of their arrow wings tearing the air flooded the battlefield.

Although the Holmeer nation was overwhelmed by the number of archers, it is the reward of arrows by the defensive walls of each other's shields. Unless you're lucky to hit a face out of a defensive wall, or an arrow jumps into a gap in the defensive wall, then yes, it's not something that leaves casualties. While some damage was done, neither continued to reward the arrows without gaining a decision hit.

In the meantime, a successor main unit catches up.

"Archers retreat! Heavy infantry forward!

Together with the decrees of each other's front-line commanders, the archers, who stopped their hands firing arrows, retreated. Instead came forward are the heavily armed infantry. They uniformly had long spears and large shields, forming dense formations.

"Move on, move on! Crush the enemy!

The heavily armed infantry of both armies remained in a dense formation and collided violently. A soldier with a desperate shape protrudes his spear forward like crazy and hits his shield against each other. Blood splashes rose from moment to moment, interrupting demons and screaming.

Initially, the forces of both armies were antagonistic.

For the soldiers on the side of the Holmeer country, which is inferior in number, this is a battle to protect their own homeland. If we cannot defeat the invaders here, the Romanian National Army, our own homeland will be ravaged. They don't just take away land and hardware. Old fathers and mothers are killed, wives and daughters are offended, and sons are sold off as slaves.

It was the temper of the soldiers of the Holmeer nation to allow such a thing to happen that buried so many of them.

But King Dordea mocks, who watched the struggle at the rear headquarters.

"The more trashy the bugs are, the better."

Its health is not infinite, even though it is now a struggling Holmeer soldier. One day the flesh will raise the sound before the feeling.

"Now be thorough with protection. Hitting an enemy with momentum is the pinnacle of foolishness. After a while, they run out of strength without them, and they necessarily lose momentum. Wait till then."

But before that life of King Dordea was conveyed, there was a new army moving out of the Romanian army.

It is a unit dyed blue monochrome with clearly visible equipment even in the distance.

Besides, when King Dordea told him that he would withdraw his order, he sighed one and then blurred like this.

"Oh, my God. My general is still in trouble."

◆ ◇ ◆ ◇ ◆

Struggling in the centre of the frontline on the part of the Holmeer State was Viscount Gattos, who was brave and known among the Holmeer Marquis. Viscount Gattos has lost not only his martial arts, but also his father and grandfather in the battle against the Romanian state, a man known for his rooted Romanian hatred.

Therefore, there was an unparalleled intention to wage this battle.

This arrangement, the center of the front row, is also directly appealed to King Walius himself. In addition, many of the soldiers led by Viscount Gattos hired the men chased from the east by the Romanian state as soldiers with their personal possessions. For that reason, I was overwhelmed with the desire to kill all the resentful Romanians until one of them was a soldier.

With such a brave and resolute Viscount Gatts' troops struggling in the harshest part of the front row: the center of the front row, the Holmea National Army was able to maintain its front, albeit inferior to its military strength.

But for such a Viscount Gattos unit, a horseback riding squad with infantry emerged from between the dense formations of the Romanian National Army's heavy-duty spear infantry.

It is all a resilient soldier, dressed in a bright blue armored helmet in the distance. And standing ahead of it is a great man with a great axe spear with one of his arms.

The soldiers who followed behind the troops raised their voices by dangling their drums.

"Hear those who hear you say cool the hole in your ear! And he that seeth, peel off his eyes, and behold! Whoever has a mouth, speak up! The great Romanian hero is here! Admiral Darius, you're going to be that man!

A loud cheer arose from the Romanian National Army as Daraios put an axe spear on his horse.

In an era where there are still no radios or other communications equipment and limited means of communicating orders to the soldiers, it is not uncommon for the commanders of the troops to be on the front line. It is difficult to align the spears to those you intend, even though you are passing through the conductor, because you will just miss the opportunity.

Rather than that, the commander himself stands in the vanguard, not missing a good chance, and sends his soldiers where he intended. Otherwise, peasant militias with low level of skill and morale who were forced out to the battlefield as labourers will not move.

But there are limits to that, too.

If you stand ahead, naturally that's all they're after from the enemy soldiers. So if the commander is to be taken over, that unit will collapse.

Not to mention that Daraios is a general who keeps the whole army of the Romanian nation more than a king. If the neck of that Daraios is taken, its impact will extend to all Romanian troops. Even if they beat the Holmeer Army in numbers, the Romanian Army could be defeated at that moment.

But still dare to be on the front line.

That is only if Darius has an absolute pride in his own martial arts and a track record of making him acknowledge it around him.

"This is where the front row of Holmea needs to be! Crushing!"

Together with the decree of Daraios, the heavily armed infantry and the heavily armed knights descending from horseback riding will be sworn out and slashed into the Holmea National Army.

The spears of the Holmea National Heavy Spear Infantry, made longer than Romanian ones in order not to draw enemies closer together, will also be revenge if they are put inside them.

Instantly a number of rows of heavy-duty spear infantry led by Viscount Gatts were devoured. And the rest of the Romanian National Army, exasperated by its bravery, we shall also continue to make the hand of the attack on the Holmeer National Army even more intense.

In contrast, Viscount Gattos was lost.

Originally the number of disadvantages is undeniable. I managed to maintain the front with high morale, but I didn't know how long I could let that stay either. Come there, it is the advent of the enemy general. The soldiers of the Romanian National Army, who were retreating, were excited and were beginning to push this one back. This is a bad flow.

At the same time, however, this was a good opportunity to meet Chiyoshi.

The great general of the enemy is right there. If we took Darios here, we might have been able to win the Romanian nation.

Of course, that's not as easy as it sounds. The rigidity of Daraios is so ringing in the Holmeer Country as well. It will be difficult to take this away.

But we should take risks here. But we should discuss Darios.

And Viscount Gatts is also the samurai whom I believe to be the strongest.

Viscount Gattos, as he descends from horseback riding, pulls his spear and heads to Daraios.

"I, Gattos Rajen, lord of the Viscount Rajen! To Admiral Darius, I hope to strike one!

To the cry of Viscount Gattos, Daraios glanced from the horse, hissing down from the horse with an axe spear in his hand. Then the blue armored SS, who was around him, also learned, immediately cut the Holmeer National Soldiers to the left and right, and set up a one-horse beating place for his master.

Viscount Gattos watched the axe spear that Daraios had in his hand as he slowly stepped up his footsteps through the space he was able to do so.

Axe spears are weapons that benefit their weight and length. That's why we need extraordinary arm strength to handle it.

But Darius is a ship's arm. Then you won't be able to handle that big axe spear. Even if I could shake it, there's no way I could swing by its weight and continue with two or three strikes and an attack.

Let's start with the Darius blow and spear me where there's a gap!

He was Viscount Gattos, who so intended, but his eyes peeled gluttonously.

Big?!

Originally, Darius is known for his giants. But somehow, with each step forward, the giant gets even bigger. Darius' body grew in sight, and when he came before Viscount Gattos, it was just big enough to cover heaven.

"Young man! Know who you are!!"

Viscount Gattos trembles at the reprimand of Daraios, who blasted as if it were a thunderbolt. Darios shook his axe spear high, swinging it down against such Viscount Gattos.

Even though a giant axe spear descends, as the heavens themselves have fallen, Viscount Gattos nevertheless tries to receive the axe spear by laying down the spear reflexively. But Darios' axe spear broke Viscount Gattos from the brain to the groin for every spear pattern he received.

The battlefield is surrounded by silence for a moment.

And at the next moment, cheers burst out from the soldiers of the Romanian state.

Soldiers in the Holmeer country are still stunned, as if inversely proportional to that. In their eyes, it just seemed like Darius, who walked over unconstitutionally, had broken both his commanders with a blow of an axe spear he had just waved down.

At the end of that overwhelming one-handed blow, the resentment against the Romanian nation that had so much was wiped out, and even the will to fight was uprooted.

For a soldier in such a Holmeer country, Darius pokes an axe spear.

"Kick it!

With the decree of Daraios, the soldiers were slaughtered into the soldiers of the Holmeer kingdom.

◆ ◇ ◆ ◇ ◆

"How about that? That's the other general, Darius."

King Dordea, who was watching it behind the Romanian National Army, told King Cesar to boast of the treasures he had taken.

"Everyone who stands in front of him on the battlefield knows how small he is when he is struck by his martial arts. I don't know if that's true. But at least the rest of them haven't seen Darius wave a second blow at the same opponent on the battlefield in the last decade."

If Darius is Holmeer's best general, Darius is Romanian's strongest general.

But it's not just a man of martial arts. The insight Viscount Gattos discerns as a key to the front line of Holmea. And the decisiveness and behavior that are getting rid of it instantly and breaking down the Holmeer front as quickly as possible.

That is the general who made us say that the servant Darius also avoided a confrontation directly from the front.

To this King Cesar also raised his voice of admiration.

"I see. Is that Romanian god of war?"

That is the name given to Darius, to be hailed alongside Darius, the patron saint of the Holmeer nation.
