Hakai no Miko

Episode 7 Magic

Come on, get up.

The "black-walled" generals, watered on their faces with such an Adomius voice, jumped up.

But soon he sits back with his head in his arms and groans.

He had a terrible hangover.

Ever since his great defeat, he has been lurking in the mountains for more than a month. In the meantime, I was even having trouble eating, and naturally I couldn't have gotten alcohol or anything. I haven't had a drink in my mouth in a long time, and I seem to have stuck my wings off. The result of the addition of distilled liquor brought in by Dwarves and others in a sneak manner is similar.

Adomius kicks ass of his ugly colleagues.

"Be decent. - There's a well over there. Drink water and wash your face. It'll be a little better."

Thinking it would be a little easier than it is now, the "Blackwall" generals dragged their heavy feet to the well. The sight is still a queue of ghosts.

Many times on the way in, they managed to reach a well in the corner of the royal palace, thoughtfully wearing water from their heads, mouth on a bucket and drinking water. That made it somewhat better, but still asks Adomius, to his buddy who sits up and groans at the remaining headaches and nausea.

"What do we do now?

Besides, the "black-walled" generals flashed their faces for a different reason than the hangover headache.

This is the "Serve the Son of Destruction?" The question would also have been reluctant to deny it. But the question that Adomius raised was about what he would do in the future by flipping those things.

The "black wall" we were in was devastated, and the Holmeer nation was destroyed. But we're still alive. When that happens, the biggest problem is how we will live in the future.

One man asked Adomius as everyone silenced in his face.

"What does the Son of Destruction say?

We used Adomius to call ourselves in. It was a question of wondering if they would surely force their subordination on themselves.

But Adomius answers with a bitter smile.

"I had a great time last night, so if you're going somewhere, they're going to give me a reward."

The "Black Wall" generals were surprised by this. On behalf of everyone, one of them asks Adomius with a flashy look.

"You didn't tell me to serve us?

They have a strong pride in being the brave men of Holmeer's strongest army, the Black Wall. Previously, when it came to "Black Wall" generals, they wanted to be held as knights by lords from all over Holmeer. Yet the men were outraged at the attitude of the Ethereal Horse, who had not said a word to serve themselves and just said, if you want to go home.

Adomius knows exactly how that feels. The purpose of engaging him with his pale horses and colleagues was to make him an officer.

For that reason, he had already asked Aoima if he was going to hold his fellow officers and get the next answer.

"I'd love it if you wanted it, but I don't want to be forced from myself, let's just say"

The Ethereal Horse had also been asked about the deep relationship between General Darius and the "Black Wall". For this reason, it was difficult to say whether to serve himself, which was a factor in General Darius' loss of legs.

The "black-walled" general who was asked about it turned into a complicated face.

If you do think of General Darius, the Son of Destruction is a hateful vendetta.

If the Son of Destruction were to impose obedience, he would have taken his sword and challenged us to battle, putting pride to the end of his chest.

But the Son of Destruction of the day welcomed me, regardless of my sins, the loser. Besides imposing obedience, they even care about this one.

Plucking a battle with no prospect of winning such an opponent is no different than the waste of toddlers. Such an embarrassing mane could not be done to the proud "black-walled" generals.

Because of his long relationship, Adomius suggests that his intricate chest should be in his hands.

"What do we do? I suppose placing a sword here is one of your choices?

If you can't fight or serve, how dare you stop being a warrior and live the rest of your life as just people?

Many of the "Black Wall" officers on this occasion are fierce warriors who, like Adomius, have been found by General Darius in their mid-teens to be part of the "Black Wall" and have since fought for more than twenty years. That age is already around forty, but the strength and strength you've built up have not yet faded. Everybody says, "I can still do this! I was full of temper." Even more so if the soldiers are younger than the officers.

"If you're not going to put your sword down, will you be a mercenary? Or do you want an agent somewhere?

Everyone will have a difficult face when it comes to the inquiry of Adomius.

If you were a former "black-walled" general, you could be a sight to behold, even if you turned yourself into a mercenary.

But mercenaries are only mercenaries. Sekiyama is the most dangerous place on the battlefield to be driven and crushed.

Then I'll have to ask for a commissioner, but the question is where and who to serve.

The first thing that comes to mind was the Northern Marquis of the Holmeer Nation - its allies and the famous Marquis of Appius.

The Northern Marquis, centered around the Marquis of Appius, has painfully criticized the Holmeer nation invasion of the Son of Destruction, calling on the Marquis to rally and recapture the Holmeer nation. If the current situation is not strange whenever the end of the battle with the Son of Destruction is opened, we, the generals of the "Black Wall", will be welcomed with our hands up to the Northern Gorges.

Nor would I be more delighted than this if I could play a part in defeating the Son of Destruction, the beloved enemy of General Darius, even as a "black wall".

Everyone thought it might be a good idea to serve on the Marquis of Appius.

But that also changes with the words that one of my buddies leaked.

"It's that Marquis of Apius with an indeterminate hip. Serving that..."

Among the Gorges of the State of Holmea, the history and military merit of the Marquis of Apius are outnumbered. But while entrusted with the role of general general of the rebel slave crusade army, I have no credibility whatsoever in being attacked by Marben Copper Mountain or in returning that major role to the territory, or in taking what seems opportunistic actions in disregard of King Walius' insistence on intercepting the Romanian National Army.

In addition, the Marquis of Apius, who is now obsessed with the recapture of the Holmeer Nation, is keenly pleased with his interests. If assurances of territory and title were obtained, we would have lightly threatened to descend on the Son of Destruction.

In that case, he would have served to destroy the Son of Destruction, but if he realized that, he would have fallen under that subordinate of the Son of Destruction again.

I thought of the sight and everyone looked bitter.

"But then there's someone in this western realm we deserve to serve?

The first thing that comes to mind in the inquiry of that fellow citizen is Darius, the grand general of the Romanian country, who was hailed alongside General Darius.

All the stiffness that stands out beyond that human realm, but it is never incompetent even as a commander who leads a great army.

However, listening to the barbarity of the Romanian State at the time of the invasion, we could at last be respectful to the Romanian State as a Holmese.

And more problematic than that is certain rumors.

"Soon, I hear a royal palace pig will be sent to the Romanian state"

To the words of Adomius, the fellow citizens will look like they have spoken even of wrongly rotten food.

A royal pig is the king's brother Vritas.

Vritas had already heard the generals of the "Black Wall" guide the Romanian National Army into the country in an attempt to seize the throne. Vritas, who is just lazy and enjoyable, and who has kept the affairs of the nation apart more than once before, is one of the most hated by the "Blackwall" generals, who are strictly honest and expensive of martial arts. Moreover, it was very unforgivable to think that such a man had sold his native country to the hateful Romanian state more than ever, but that the beloved General Darius had died in battle.

But to say that we will fight the Son of Destruction in the service of the Romanian State, which, although nominally, recognises Vritas as King Holmea, is nothing more than to take back the Holmea State for Vritas.

"You said you'd never forgive me for just babysitting, and now you're taking care of a pig?

Adomius threw up.

"I'm not kidding. If that's the case, it's better to scratch your neck and go to your Excellency and be reprimanded."

Darius especially hated the generals wasting their lives. Yet if it were self-harm, I might be reprimanded in any way when I reunited Darius in the Underworld. Darius, known for his forgiveness to the generals, but the "Blackwall" generals are well aware that he was only harsh against dishonorable acts.

But still, it's better than under that Vritas.

It was no longer out of the question, such as serving in the Romanian state.

"But then..."

Everyone understood the continuation of the words that his so leaked colleague had not spoken.

If we go with the erasure method, there is only one person left who is considered worthy of serving in this western realm.

General Darius, who was called the best general in the Holmeer Country, made him fear to call himself the strongest accomplice of his life, and his exceptional military talent was a man who had just been informed himself.

That is, he is the son of destruction.

"But hey..."

The feelings of the fellow bureaucrats so divulged were common to all the "black-walled" generals there.

When it comes to General Darius, when it comes to the "black-walled" general who was taught to be respectful rather than hateful, it's not something that is easily accepted as "yes, is it?"

But the more I think about it, the less I seem to have a choice but the Son of Destruction.

Even though everyone has been silent with a difficult face, Adomius smiles with a whopping bitterness before saying.

"I still think 'Black Wall' is the strongest"

To this abrupt word, everyone watches Adomius.

"Sure, we lost to the Son of Destruction. It's a miserable defeat. - But I can't help it."

Behind Adomius's brain, a word comes to mind.

When you move a soldier, the victory is already confirmed. This is the ideal.

These are the words General Darius used to say.

Adomius has captured the words of this General Darius in the sense that if we "black walls" move ourselves, we will necessarily bring victory.

But it was a mistake.

In future generations, in a battle known as the "Humiliation of Snomuta," Adomius, who tried to know why he had defeated greatly, heard from many parties a number of fabric stones that he had struck before he had also fought from the course of the battle and from Aoima himself.

That battle was all set up only to crush the Black Wall, the strongest army in the Holmeer country, by no time it was completely skinless.

Yet the victory of the Son of Destruction was confirmed at the time we moved our soldiers into the land without knowing otherwise.

It was exactly what General Darius called an ideal battle.

This should be a loss.

This was the untrue authenticity of Adomius when he understood the whole "humiliation of Snomuta" thing.

But Adomius goes on to say "but".

"That's the difference between a general who leads an army. I am convinced that we as soldiers are still the strongest."

In the first place, the "Black Wall" was an army created as a resilient body supporting the brains of Holmeer's best general, Darius. Its strength as a flesh has not yet been lost, Adomius says.

"That being said, our public reputation is rattled off," Adomius leaks his tongue when he punches him in the face. "- Haribote's Strongest Legion?! He said he had only ever fought weak enemies?! No kidding! What can we stand when our 'Black Wall' is told this!

Adomius makes me try to hold my fist.

"Whatever the stigma! I have to prove the strongest of our Black Walls! We need a general worthy of serving and a battlefield sufficient to wave our spears!

So Adomius makes me laugh bitterly.

"Same with your Excellency. If the Son of Destruction doesn't at least unify the West Side, he can't protect the honor of his torn lord."

Besides, they all look amazed.

Western reunification is something that the Holmeer and Romanian countries could not achieve over hundreds of years. Indeed, it would seem that the opponents who would have made such a feat would have had no choice but to say that they were the best generals in the Holmeer country.

The "black-walled" generals who were on the spot were all uniformly silenced and conceived.

To such colleagues, Adomius releases a word of no push.

"And last night's booze wasn't a bad idea, was it?

There is a smile on everyone's face.

Then we see each other's faces for a while, and the man who was captain of the battalion says on behalf of everyone.

"Adomius, a good place to serve the Son of Destruction, etc."

Press yes, then continue with the words.

"But you're the one who has the highest rank among the survivors. Then we have to obey you."

In "black walls" that emphasize only the individual's abilities, not his origins or patriarchy, the high and low rank and public status within that legion is often reversed. For this reason, in the "Black Wall" it was incomplete to bring up origins and patterns, and there was an insanity to obey even dogs if they had a higher rank within the legion.

If we are to defend it, we must all obey the decision of Adomius, the only surviving commander of the regiment.

But Adomius frowned at the vernacular.

They are warrior friends united by a stronger bond than their parents and brothers who divided the blood. I am also well aware of the mood they cannot say they will serve the Son of Destruction if they do not shield the "Black Wall" insanity.

But Adomius touched his fingertips on his cheek.

It's a blue mole that still complains of pain if you touch it. Once Adomius told me to meet the Son of Destruction, they were made because almost all of them had been beaten up with scolding "traitors" and "ungrateful".

Adomius says half-eyed.

"Then why was I beaten?

Everyone had their backs cut off from Adomius.

In the course of that day, the Ethereal Horse, offered the subordination of all the "Black Wall" generals who survived from Adomius, gave pleasure to it on the spot.

It is a "black wall" built as the strongest army in the Holmeer Country, although it had been smaller in number. Rather than dismantling it and cluttering it with other soldiers, it is better to use it as an elite force, even in a few.

Having so decided, the Ethereal Horse put Adomius under General Marcronis as a deputy general equivalent to Setius, as well as the "Black Wall" survived as an independent force and appointed him as its commander.

The consideration of the Ethereal Horse, who retains the name and appearance of this "Black Wall", greatly impressed those with a strong attachment and sense of belonging to the "Black Wall".

But it was actually Shemr who was happier than them like that.

There was no such thing as the ugliness of the Ethereal Horse last night, even if Shemr vowed to be deeply loyal to the Ethereal Horse as "you under the umbilical". Regardless of who I am, I don't think I want to serve anyone else if I see that kind of ugliness. Perhaps the "black-walled" generals, too, thought they would soon leave.

But the next morning all the generals of the Black Wall swore their devotion to the Ethereal Horse.

To this, Shemr said, "That's my 'you under the umbilical'. The depth of human virtue was not measurable for me," he had a misguided admiration. Such a grumpy shemle tears up the pale horse.

"Hey, Soma. Did you use magic?

Besides, the Ethereal Horse glanced at his face.

But that didn't spoil the mood. As a matter of fact, the pale horse has endured headaches, nausea and heartburn ever since he woke up this morning.

In other words, it is a hangover.

In such a state, Shemr's floating, highly-playing voice resonated with cancer on his head.

Says the Ethereal Horse.

"Please, don't. Don't make such a loud noise..."

Shemr hastily apologized to the Ethereal Horse, who pleaded with constant breath, saying, "Whoa, I'm sorry."

The Ethereal Horse, who was distracted by headaches and nausea, never realized that the people around him who were listening to his conversation with Shemr at this time had turned into a ghoulish face.

◆ ◇ ◆ ◇ ◆

According to what the wind asks, the "Black Wall" warriors were summoned by Soma Kisaki, son of destruction.

The brave men, who now revere the late General Darius, refused to bow down to the Son of Destruction. But only one night after dawn, they reversed their will, and offered to bow down to the Son of Destruction.

Besides, the faithful Shemr asked Soma Kisaki, son of destruction.

"My you. Did you use magic?

And Soma Kisaki, the son of destruction, looked up, and answered:

"Stop. It's not what I say out loud," he said.

People said they feared that once again the Son of Destruction would have made the warriors obey him using various sorceries that could not be said aloud.
