Lesson 36: The loophole

The story goes back (back) to the evening of the day Mendax rebelled.

A great deal of snoring was echoing in the small woods a little further north than the Wang capital. It is the red-haired Zoan giant lying on the ground - Zug - who is snoring as if it were a storm.

He was supposed to lead the Crusaders along with Garam, lurking in the woods with a handful of Zoan warriors, of course because he was waiting for people.

"Angry Claws." Looks like the King is here. "

As soon as the warrior standing on the lookout announced the arrival of the waiter, Zug, who was snoring high to the brink, woke Gabba and his upper body.

"Oops. Finally here!

Standing up with his hands paying for the fallen leaves tangled in his hair, Zug picks him up outside the woods. Then a pale horse with several Zoan warriors had just arrived on a horse there.

"Thank you for waiting, Mr. Zug"

Zoog narrows his eyes and smiles back at the Ethereal Horse, who calls out with a frantic grin from the horse.

"Safe escape, Lord Soma."

When the Ethereal Horse responds with a laugh "thanks to you" to this, Zug turns from a friendly look celebrating the safety of an acquaintance to become the face of a warrior.

"So you did a good job on the tail?

And the Ethereal Horse returned, "Of course," he said. And then Shemr continues to look good at it.

"The royal castle people have not noticed, and on the contrary, they have wavered their love so that the people of the king's capital can remember them well."

Zoog becomes a frightened face at Shemru, who puts up his rich breasts and talks about his accomplishments all the time.

"Your son. Only with the arrangements of the Imperial Chief could we get out of the castle safely."

Zug's blatant allegations also clogged the words "Ugh" by that shemle.

All the escape plays from this royal castle were planned and arranged by Eradia, what Zoog called the "lesser chief of the lady".

Mendax's intention to use it as an opportunity to make up further Ethereal Horse scandals was clear when he proposed a feast under the moon after a bad review that Ethereal Horse was bullying Princess Wallina.

Preventing this beforehand is easy.

But then it was visible that Mendax, the little one, could not be proven that he was planning a rebellion, even if he truncated his conspirator, the Marquis of Apius, but ran into preservation, cutting the lumps without knowing. Forgive it, the roots of evil will remain in the reign of the Ethereal Horse for ever.

So Eladia made Mendax think he was doing exactly what he was looking for and actually started a rebellion and planned to flip all of it on top of it.

What was used for this was a secret loophole that was in the royal castle.

Better than in ancient times, the Royal Castle has a secret loophole that only the royal family knows in case of enemy aggression and insurgency under its subordinates. In particular, the royal castle of the King's capital, Holmenia, is also the castle of the ancient dynasty, which predecessors both the Holmeer and Romanian powers. If that's all history has accumulated, one of the kings of history is not a strange story, even if one or so of the secret loopholes was prepared. Also, in fact, there were multiple loopholes in one place.

Exactly as Eladia said, "Temperament resembles an elf, and its deeds resemble a dwarf", so that the historical kings of Holmea kept the royal palace high, like an elf living on a tree, while beneath it they dug holes at their best, like a dwarf.

But the existence of such loopholes is the last lifeline for the Kings. Therefore the existence of the loophole is communicated only among the kings of history, and whether it be the son of a son, the king shall keep it secret until the hour of his death. Not to mention the late King Walius was highly skeptical, and I didn't think he was revealing himself to anyone at all.

But naturally, the entrance to and exit from the loophole is something cleverly hidden. Just because I looked, it wasn't that easy to find.

So it was Pompius, formerly called the Grand Chancellor, whom Eladia laid eyes on.

If Pompius, praised as the right-hand man of King Sadoma, the former king of the kingdom of Holmea, and deeply trusted by King Sadoma himself, supposedly he was secretly taught a loophole by King Sadoma in order to protect the king who escaped by means of loopholes or to head to the royal palace to rescue him.

That Eladia speculation was true.

Pompius had taught two loopholes from King Sadma.

One of them is what leads from the royal palace to the dry well in the backyard of the Pompius mansion. And the other was one that leads directly out of the King's Capital than the Royal Palace.

This time, the Ethereal Horse predicted the time when Princess Wallina would climb the castle, and used the way out to dislodge from the Imperial Castle to Pompius' mansion, from which she escaped in dignity to the King's capital while deliberately exposing herself before the gatekeepers and the people of the King's capital.

Eladia, considering all of those plans, should also have remained in the royal castle with the Ethereal Horse, Zoog asks, even though the figure is not on this occasion.

"So, the inconvenient chief lady, she still won't come?

Besides, the Ethereal Horse nodded "Yes".

"Mr. Eladia entertains Princess Wallina on my behalf, as planned, while making sure Mendax rebels before leaving the King's capital."

Let not the mendax of the cautious be suspicious, even slightly, in order to settle the rebellion. There were also fears that Princess Wallina was conspiring with Mendax, although unlimited as a possibility.

For this reason Eladia misled the absence of the Ethereal Horse and remained in the King's Capital to see Mendax rebel.

"If she's the chief, let's not have a problem."

Eladia's sagginess is already well known to Zoog. Zoog decided that she would follow and catch up. Then Zoog looks up into the sky and sees the sight of the clouds being flown by strong northerly winds.

"I want to avoid the night's forcible forces when the wind is strong like this. I want to earn some distance till sundown, but are you okay?

The Ethereal Horse replied no problem to Zoog, who cares about their health just coming from the royal castle.

To be honest, I just want to put in a little break. But it would be tough in case there was a Mendax chaser who noticed their escape. Plus the Shemls who have run so far using their own hands and feet. Even though Zoan hasn't divulged a single dissatisfaction, there's no way he can make a weak noise of himself riding a horse.

"Join Mr. Gallum and the others as soon as possible. Please lead the way."

When the Ethereal Horse said so, Zoog answered briefly, "I understand," and ran out with four legs.

Ahead of that zoog, the Ethereal Horse drives the horse as he solidifies his surroundings with Zoan warriors to join the Crusading Army led by the preceding Gallum.

On that day the sun set, and the wild boarding house; and the next day the pale horses ran north with the sunrise. The Ethereal Horses finally caught up with the Crusaders led by Garam, joining Elves, who had escaped the King's capital late along the way.

A pale horse was guided to Pipi, who was picked up, where it became a canyon in the mountains slightly off the streets heading north.

"I've been waiting for you, Soma. Was there a problem?

Before Garam, who was deliberately picking him up at the entrance to the canyon, the Ethereal Horse answers by taking Shemr's hand and descending from the horse.

"Mr. Eladia's predictions are on the right track, as planned."

Then the Ethereal Horse says, slapping his body, as if he had been pioneered.

"But it went this way."

I have known since I was in the city of Bornis that strong seasonal winds would come from the north in this season, but the Holmeer country seemed to have much stronger winds. They have run their horses under the strong opposite wind. The hair of the pale horse was disturbed by the bosom, and the exposed faces and hands and feet were dusty. Sand claiming to be jarring all the way into my mouth.

So when he entered the canyon and was sheltered from the wind, the Ethereal Horse pulled out the power of his shoulder.

"Right. I hope so..."

To the mouthfeel of the gallam, the pale horse wore a small neck.

Galam, known to the Ethereal Horse, is a refreshing warrior of temper who prefers decisiveness to the call of the strongest brave men on the plains. It's rare to say that it's like something's caught in a tooth like this.

I wondered if the Ethereal Horse said, "Was it also a problem?" Turning to the water, Gallum opened his mouth with a slight hesitation.

"Because of the strong wind, I decided to camp here, but I'm worried that would have been really good"

To Garam's words, the Ethereal Horse looked up over his head to be caught.

The wind is also quite sumptuous due to its entry into the canyon, but overhead you can see the woodland trees growing on the cliffs shaking violently and making noisy noises. In that kind of strong wind, if you camp or something in the blow, no one will rest properly. It also seemed like a legitimate decision for Garam to decide to camp here.

I don't know what's bothering me, and Garam adds words to the proper Ethereal Horse.

"Isn't this a place called The Land of Snakes?

The Ethereal Horse says, "" The Land of Snakes "?," he mumbles in return, then immediately picks up the word from his memory.

That was the statement in the "Darius' Guide" that Darius, called Holmeer's best general, responded to King Sadma's only wish and wrote it down for the sake of backward movement.

This "Darius' Guide" not only discusses the appropriateness of the General and the methods of soldiering, but also has a chapter that mentions terrain. There they cited the features of terrain to watch out for when marching and garrisoning, each of which was described as a beast.

And one of them is the "land of serpents".

General Darius describes the "land of serpents" beginning with the sentence: "The canyon, or mountain river looms to the left and right, and the path is narrow and stretches long, and the land stretched thin and long as a long serpent by the army, is called the" land of serpents ":

Firstly, it is land to avoid marching, but if it is not possible, it must pass promptly without ever stopping. garrison, etc., outside.

It is also a good idea to hold your head and tail to capture snakes when attacking enemies in the land, but to block the front and rear of the road as if they were, or to cut the torso stretched out with an ambush under one sword from the side.

Conversely, we need to consolidate the front and rear defenses when defending them, while closely cooperating with the entire army that has stretched long enough to look at the aircraft and strike out quickly at both the front and rear.

If you look around again to the words of Gallam, I see that it is the "land of serpents".

Moreover, in the sound of the trees growing on the cliffs being shaken by strong winds, I could hear the soldiers' whining echoing like mountains in the canyon. This would also make it difficult to coordinate the entire army when it is ambushed by an enemy.

As far as the terrain is concerned, as General Darius points out, it is outside such things as camping here.

If you make it Gallum, who is beginning to learn military law books, including "Darius's Guide Book", after becoming a general, you don't care about what is the choice you have had to make to avoid strong winds.

But the Ethereal Horse often thinks about it and then asks Gallam comfortably.

"It's only a few days from now, isn't it? And they're giving you scouts, aren't they?

"Oh, yeah. It's not just the warriors, it's the pipipi's watching us."

As Gallum said, there were many Harpuans flying in large circles, spreading large wings through the already cedary-stained sky.

"Then I think you'll be fine."

That's what the Ethereal Horse undertook.

"With such a strong wind, it's less burdensome for everyone here than camping in the blow. If you can still afford to engage your enemies, you should have labored your soldiers by now."

Gallum, finally relieved by the words of the Ethereal Horse, says briefly, "Well," slightly out of his shoulder. Gallum, who had been contracted by the Ethereal Horse to grab a hold of his chest, became a sunny face and left him "to come around and see how everyone was doing," followed the scene with his deputy Shru.

That's how when Garam is gone, now Shemr, who has remained silent until then, raises an anxious voice.

"Hey, Soma. This is The Land of Snakes, isn't it? Are you sure you're okay with this?

On behalf of the Ethereal Horse, which cannot read the letters of this world, it was Shemr who made him read and listen to "Darius's Guide". For that reason she also knew about the "land of serpents".

For Zoan, General Darius was abhorred as a "black beast," but that's why his power is highly appreciated. Shemr looked anxious at the camp in the land of snakes, which General Darius would say was "out of the question".

To Shemr with such a worried face, the Ethereal Horse explains with a good "huffle" snort.

"In the world I was in, there was a genius called Horse 35606;

What the Ethereal Horse calls a horse is one of the figures of the Three Kingdoms.

Horse was a warlord who was more academic and deeply loved his talent from that Zhuge Confucius Ming. The horse was entrusted with the defense of the city pavilion (where it was), an important food course for the Shu army. Even though Zhuge Peacock had been told by Zhuge Peacock to hold down the narrow mountain path and consolidate his protection, Ma insisted that "if you look down (hiccups) above the height, the momentum, the bamboo rush will be as good as it is" in the military law, pushing off the surrounding opposition and forming it on the mountain.

And when they saw the horse, 35606; on a mountain without water, they laid siege to the army of the horse, 35606;, through a narrow mountain path. The army of Horse , which was cut off from water for this reason, collapsed within a moment (again), and was lightly deprived of the city pavilion by Sima Zhongzhong.

Thus the Shu army, deprived of its lifeline, was defeated and had to raise the entire army.

This is what the world calls the Battle of the City Pavilion.

Zhuge Confucius Ming then had to execute the crying horse while sparing his talent, to make him take responsibility for the great defeat and also to maintain military discipline. This is the "cry and slay the horse" that will remain an adage until today.

The Ethereal Horse, who spoke of those things in earnest, concluded with the following words:

"There's no point in memorizing how many books of military law you have and fighting like that. What's written in the military code is only fundamentals. It's important to understand that and to adapt it to the circumstances."

Shemr greatly admired the description of the Ethereal Horse.

"I see you're right, if you ask me. I was also taught by my father that 'there is as much difference between using a mountain knife and using it as there is between heaven and earth', but I guess it's the same. That's my" you under the umbilical "!

From trusting Shemr, the so admired Ethereal Horse slightly blushed her cheeks and laughed lightly. But that smile also frightens me with one word of the next Shemr.

"- By the way, how did you learn such knowledge?

With a frightened smile on his face, the Ethereal Horse is often silent.

In the meantime, he also loses the pressure of Shemr, who silently complains, "Tell Me," with his innocent curiosity shining eyes, and Ethereal Horse tells him to squeeze it out.

"... don't tell"

Besides, Shemr calls me "Don't tell me between you and me, it stinks like a kettle," but Aoima didn't try to teach me hard. Because, by no means, "I read and remember comics," I could not say very well.

The Ethereal Horse continued the conversation to escape Shemr's pursuit.

"Anyway, I don't have a problem camping here now. Of course, not if it's in front of the enemy or if you're afraid of ambushes. Stupid thing to do camping in a place like this in that situation..."

So the voice of the pale horse stopped pitterly.

When Shemr stared at what was wrong, the Ethereal Horse whispered his elusive face into a nagging twitch and said something to himself.

"Wait. So what's the situation now... If Marquis Apius..."

Suddenly Shemr smiled at her mouth without my knowledge at the Ethereal Horse, who had begun to immerse herself in her thoughts without looking at what was going on around her.

This is what happens to the Ethereal Horse when you are thinking of something bad.

If this difficult face distorts us like a sobbing face step by step, it is the worst thing for us too. But it was decided that it was bad for the enemy, not for ourselves, to start shining our eyes like evil kids showing off the pranks we keep like we do now.

"Did you come up with anything interesting?

Shemr's speculation was not off when he finally got out of his own thoughts and asked for a pale horse with his face up.

Says the Ethereal Horse with a wicked smile of people.

"Yeah! - Get me Mr. Gallum right away. He said he came up with something very good!
