Lesson 18: Female Wolf Talent

The Ethereal Horse headed with Shemr to a chemical laboratory in the corner of the Royal Palace. When the Ethereal Horse came, was the experiment just taking a break from a paragraph? Solon was just licking a little liquor on a chair placed outside the lab.

At first it was a solon with a nagging, light-hearted grin, but as he listened and went about the invasion of the Romanian country, his face became sharp.

And Solon, who was briefed on the situation by a pale horse all the way through, gets up from his chair and takes the cane that was standing nearby.

"I want to sum up my thoughts for a moment. Shall we take a little walk?"

That said, Solon walked out on a slow footing.

After a while, Solon abruptly says, as the pale horse walks about afterwards while scolding the frustrating Shemr.

"Gordia and Partiz have conspired to make it look like a battle for succession to the throne, gathering soldiers, arming them, and launching an ambush on this country, which is a mistake."

In answer to Solon, the Ethereal Horse wondered if it was, after all. At the same time, I try to bump into questions about it.

"But from what I've looked into, it seems true that the two were in conflict over the succession to the throne. Even if you two could work together, would each faction be convinced to do so?

Then, Solon glanced.

"Goldia only has one trump card that makes it possible"

Says Solon after a slight stare.

"It would have been conditional on Gordia renouncing her right to inherit the throne and ceding her throne to Partiz"

"I don't think doing that would convince the people who supported me?

Solon also affirms the question of the Ethereal Horse.

"Is it convincing? Rather, it is decided to be resented and scorned. But if Gordia's for the country, let's swallow it."

Solon groaned somewhere grumpy, "That's the kind of guy he is," in his mouth.

"Nevertheless, for Goldia, who grew up as the first heir to the throne, the waiver of inheritance is tantamount to denying herself. Only that's the last trump card left. I didn't expect to cut it here either."

Solon valued Goldia's internal affairs and diplomatic skill highly.

With that Gordia, there must have been a number of other hands that weakened the momentum in the Erdoğa country. The waiver of the right to inherit the throne is a trump card that will finally be given out at the end after all such means have been exhausted. In Solon's reckoning, a few years later than now, even if I used it. It was unexpected to cut that at this stage anymore.

"Were you cornered by the Partisans more than I looked into, or were there any other factors? Either way, Gordia took this country more seriously than I thought."

It was a solon perplexing without reading through the heart of Gordia.

Assess yourself objectively.

That was a difficult thing to do with a solon later also known as Dae-hyun. It was not at this time that Solon dreamed that it was himself who cornered him until Gordia regarded him as the most dangerous and made him renounce his right to inherit the throne.

When Solon stopped ringing his wand, he looked back at the Ethereal Horse.

"And I thought for the moment that Gordia could not make up her mind for another reason."

The Ethereal Horse said, "What's that?" Encouraging the conversation, Solon continues his words.

"Gordia has an exceptional talent in internal affairs. But when things become militarily involved, decisions become dull from time to time. That Gordia struck out in a battle called Seoul West. Perhaps something pushed Goldia's back."

So Solon wrinkled between his eyebrows.

"But I don't know what that is. It bothers me."

Sure, the Ethereal Horse cared about that, too.

Even if they were hunted down, Gordia is a man who chooses solid hands. That Gordia cut the helm to battle must be there for some reason.

When the Ethereal Horse was twisting his head, one thing came to mind.

"Speaking of which, I heard a story about Princess Piata suing Seoul and the Partisans gaining momentum with it, so what?

Solon strokes his beard when he makes a difficult face.

"I don't know if it's Partis, and if that Gordia's going to end up in a battle where she's uncertain about her chances of winning just because she's been begged by her cute little sister Princess, who's away from her age..."

The Ethereal Horse also agreed with that opinion.

Gordia, whom the Ethereal Horse knows, is never ruthless, but not the kind of man who shapes national politics with love. I didn't really think that Gordia would make it through the war because she was begged to do so in tears by her sister princess.

But then I can't think of any other reason why Goldia made the decision.

For a while, Ethereal Horse and Solon had an argument with either of them or this, but they didn't find the answer in the end.

While doing so, Eladia, the female chief, came to call to prepare the Ethereal Horse for her own appearance. Sooner or later, the Ethereal Horse tries to return to prepare without getting an answer.

"Hey, kid."

On the back of that pale horse, Solon called out.

The Ethereal Horse said, "Something?" Looking back, Solon says with a rugged face he has never seen before.

"I don't have a bad feeling about this. Be very careful."

And the Ethereal Horse bowed his head lightly, saying, "My advice hurts," and left the place with Shemru and Eladiah.

So Solon, who was left alone, turned his eyes to the sky.

"Gordia. What the hell pushed his back..."

There was one name on Solon's brain that caught him somewhat.

Piata dea Romanianis.

The princess at the end that her best friend Dordea drowned. All you can do as you please, Princess Grandma. The old lady and daughter who take the young general and do the general's whole thing.

That Piata cried and pleaded was definitely one of the factors that forced Gordia to step west.

But soon Solon laughed bitterly, "No way, no way," he said.

It is undeniable that Piata's plea influenced him somewhat. However, it is very unlikely that the decision was made only with it.

For this reason, Solon shakes Piata's name off the back of his brain.

"Well, what the hell happened to Gordia..."

I didn't know Solon whining like that.

That it was not his love for Piata that pushed Goldia's back, but his talent.

◆ ◇ ◆ ◇ ◆

Rabian River to the east of the Eldor Country. Close to the shore of the Eldor country was the Masarca Gateway Fort.

The Masarca Gateway Fort, as its name suggests, was formerly a fort that served as a gateway to the border of the Holmeer State. It was a fort that had long contributed to the tranquillity of the Holmeer State, but had been ceded to the Romanian State as a condition for the withdrawal of the Romanian National Army during the earlier Battle of Holmeer. It was thus the Masarca Guanmen Fort, which became a bridgehead to the Eldor Country, but it is an enclave in the middle of an enemy land across the Great River. If they poorly inspire the Eldor country to name soldiers of recapture, they will be easily recaptured. For this reason, the Romanian State did not dare to strengthen the fortifications or anything else, and the soldiers placed were to be kept to a minimum.

But now its Masarca Gateway Fort was full of Romanian National Army troops.

It is the Romanian National Army led by Prince Partiz, who flew the flag to avenge his late father.

That number, nominally, is 30,000. In real numbers, it was a great army of 20,000. Moreover, the morale of the generals is high. Clear your grudge, clear the meaning of yesterday's great defeat, and the momentum is all that strikes heaven.

In contrast, however, the faces of the generals gathered for military deliberations in the widest room within the Masarca Gate Fort were sinister.

"What the hell is His Highness Partis thinking?

If one of the generals leaks like that, then the other generals will respond to it.

"Dear Left, Shouldn't we march quickly and take control of villages and cities?

"Whatever. Even as we do this, Eldor will steadily consolidate his defenses."

The dissatisfaction of the generals was that they had been prevented from marching.

It was because of this that the Erdoğa nation thrust its surprises and succeeded in crossing the river Rabian. While the Erdoğa State still does not consolidate its defenses, it should be a good idea to march quickly to control the villages and cities along the way, plunder food and so on from there, and further advance soldiers to the Wang capital, Holmenia.

Partiz, however, stopped the soldiers, saying, "The march is irrelevant," and all the soldiers had ordered them to wait until they had finished crossing the river.

When the generals looked into what the hell it was, they knew it wasn't Partis' own proposal.

One of the generals says bitterly.

"Her Royal Highness Princess Piata has advised me not to need it."

It was Piata who forced Partis to hold the march.

The other generals give their voice in tune to the criticism of Piata.

"After all, it's a woman (stomach). You don't know how to fight."

"But we're the ones who eat the split. This must be forcefully advanced from us to His Highness Partis."

"Left, left"

He was the head of the Gordians who had just listened in silence to that, and now Celtius, who became deputy general of the conscription West Army, but noticed a number of footsteps that could be heard from across the entrance to the room where the generals and the others were in agreement.

"My lords, it is Your Royal Highness. Watch your mouth."

The generals shut their mouths and wait in an upright immobilized position.

"Sorry I kept you waiting so long!

Soon it was Partis, the general of the Western army of this requisition, who came in with a laugh of Lang (more) and others.

The generals bow their heads and show their respect. Partis, passing among its generals, lowered his back to the chair placed next to which Celtius stood.

"Forgive. Face up."

Those were the generals who raised their faces to Partis' words, but their lips slightly distorted.

Because Piata stood opposite Sertius, his deputy general, standing next to Partis sitting in a chair, even with a face that he took for granted. It is an indication of Partiz's attitude to treat Piata equally with his deputy generals.

I heard there was an election from Gordia. However, even though it is the royal princess, it is a rhetorical discourse that every woman steps into battle.

The generals thought bitterly.

"Now, let's start a military debate to defeat Hate Eldor"

Yes. When Partis cut it out, one of the generals immediately asked for permission to speak "fearlessly". When Partis forgives it, the general sees and says Hilariously Celtius.

"All of us, General, are perplexed by the fact that we are not allowed to march despite His Highness's orders. - Right, Ser Celtius."

To this, Celtius leaks his tongue inside.

Nothing. We don't like to talk directly to Partis ourselves, so it's an arithmetic to push ourselves to the shield.

But Celtius also asks Partiz, knowing that he would be shielded, because he had doubts even though he was being held back from marching again.

"I would like to address His Highness Partis. With the help of His Royal Highness, we succeeded in crossing the river without being disturbed. Now, if you see a harpuan-like shadow flying over your head in the last few days, you can be sure that our crossing was known to the Son of Destruction. That's why I know it's a good idea to attack him once and for all before he's ready to intercept."

Partis nodded loudly at this.

"The anxieties of the lords are the best!

Then Partis turns to Piata, who stands next door.

"Let me explain that to my sister Piata here"

To make Piata, a woman, explain on this important occasion of the military council, the generals flaunted their faces with surprise and discomfort.

While gathering the suspicious and suspicious gaze of those generals, Piata raises a grand voice instead of fearing.

"With your brother's forgiveness, this Piata will explain to the lords. - I'm told, I want you to see this first!

And before the generals that were lined up, the Romanian golden wolf smiled with arrogance.
