Haroon

Green Elves

Harun begins to move in the direction of the passageway where the resonance of the scream intensifies. The sensation of the degree of vibration did not require the extra attention, so the movement was slow, but there was no choice.

Harun, who walked for almost a day, rested. There was no place day or night, but I was able to instinctively distinguish between low and low night because of my awakened physical ability. Harun instinctively realized that regular living is best for maintaining an optimal body condition.

The next day, I had to walk down the aisle. The encounter with Volkaworm, who was looking forward to inner concern and expectation, did not take place. If you look at the number of passageways that are traversed through the basement, there should be more than one or two passageways, but it was strange that they were so invisible.

Moving with all the senses up was more tiring than I thought. Harun finally arrives in a fairly large cavity and decides to take a break, although it's early. Moving with the sensation of the vibrational widths of the screams was harder than fighting the Volkaworm.

Harun, who was just about to rest after taking a meal, suddenly stopped. Something strange happened to his senses because he was constantly raising his senses.

Is that breathing? ’

Mild but life-forms detected. Harun picks up the Von Sword and inspects the joint, just in case. A cavern, not a passageway, was found on one side of a cavity about 30 meters in diameter. Seeing the wind not passing through, it was definitely not a passageway.

You hear a faint sound of breath in there.

Who is it?

Harun carefully enters the cave and sees a group of elves lying around like corpses deep inside. I was glad I wasn't human.

The elves are almost unconscious. He was unconscious, just taking a weak breath.

What happened? ’

I wonder why the Elves have come this deep underground and why they have fallen like this. Harun chose an elf that was relatively long and breathable. It looked like a woman, but I'm not sure. His chest was a cliff.

Harun opens the elf's mouth and spills out a few HP potions. The elf swallows it as soon as the potion rolls in its mouth, even in a state of unconsciousness. After feeding all the health potions to the end, the elf regained consciousness after a short time.

“Ugh. Water... Water! ”

Looking for water made me feel better. Harun rushes out of his magical backpack and gives you a little water. The elf, who kept drinking the water, was very thirsty, opened his eyes shortly after.

“Who, who? ”

“My name is Harun. ”

The elf closes his eyes several times to see Harun, but appears invisible.

“I stumbled across it on the way over. What happened to you? ”

“Just passing through? ”

The elf looks strange, but soon Harun replies.

“It... got lost and ran out of food.... ”

The elf's ship has sent a signal. The sound of running water rushes through the dried intestines.

“Wait a minute. I'll cook you something to eat. ”

“Thank you.”

Harun took the grain powder, vegetable powder and mushroom powder from his magical backpack and released it into the water. Harun stands on the elf's head, holds his position, and then spills the uneven fine powder into the elf's mouth. The elf is terrified of hunger.

“You shouldn't eat too much at once, so eat it later. ”

“Hiic! Hiic! Oh, okay. Thank you so much."

It was a woman now. Talking attitude was clear from the look on his face. The color of my face was a little strange when I saw it up close. Unlike the Elves I met before, there was a little blue light on my face.

“What's your name? ”

“It's Tyreese. She's a Green. What clan are you? ”

“Oh, I'm not an Elf, I'm a human. A mercenary.”

“Yes?”

An elf named Dyris is startled and raises his torso. But soon I went back. Harun hurriedly supports the elf's torso underneath.

“I'm sorry, but there's a Luminescent Ore nearby. Can you find it for me?" ”

He must have wondered if he was a human being who saved him.

“I understand.”

Harun searches every corner of the cave and finds ore beneath the body of an elf. Light spreads through the cave as you place the ore in the middle of the recessed wall.

Tyreese glances at Harun for a moment, but her face is filled with curiosity and gratitude as if she had never seen a human. Then he looked around him.

“Does the Green clan have any other clans? ”

“Yes. There are six Elves living in this lost land. ”

“Ah! And do you distinguish them by their skin color? ”

“Yes.”

“So they were Dark Elves. ”

At Harun's words, Tyreese's eyes widen.

“They……. Have you met them?”

“Yes. I met their lord. ”

“Really?"

Dyris has been silent for a while, wondering if he was shocked by what he said. I wondered why, but I let it go. After a while, she gets up and sits down.

“What about my colleagues? ”

Tyreese asked in an anxious voice. I saw the Elves lying around, worried they might be dead.

“He's in bad shape, but he's not dead. I was going to water it in turn. ”

Harun pulls out a Lesser Health Potion and goes around feeding the elves. The dying elf couldn't even swallow the potion, so he had to make the wind blow and force it to pass.

The elves who drank the stamina potions began to wake up one by one, and everyone appealed to their hunger.

‘It's like being a sitter. ’

Harun, who fed his turn to the water, now fed them the grain powder that had been burned with the help of Dyris, who had found some strength. Only a few hours later, the elves rose from their seats one by one. In the meantime, Tyreese recovered his appetite and drank all that was left.

The elves regained consciousness were astonished at the fact that the first humans they saw saved them, and were appalled that they could not only understand what they were saying, but also understand what they were saying. No matter how they felt, Harun had to rest. Harun leaves the cave in case the Elves are uncomfortable, turning Manaflo to sleep instead.

‘You may not have bad intentions for saving your life, but you can't be too careful. ’

After a few ambushes, I couldn't relax. Harun slowly shifts his consciousness to his inside. I didn't forget to keep an eye on the situation outside, leaving a strand of consciousness.

The elves regain some strength, but their strength is so low that they soon become quiet again. Harun saw them again many times after turning the flow.

“I am Baria, the chief of the Green clan. ”

He was a middle-aged, handsome and likable elf. He appears to be the leader of the Elves here.

“Greetings. I am Harun, commander of the gale mercenaries." ”

“I knew it! What a marvel. How can I understand this while speaking another language? I've never heard of anything like this... ”

Probably heard the story beforehand. I didn't have to mention the language problem because I didn't know anything about it. Noticing that Harun had no intention of speaking, Baria no longer dragged the story.

“If we had met Commander Harun a little later, we would have starved to death. Thank you again."

“You're welcome. We should help each other out. It's a place of anxiety because of the Volkaworm. ”

“Do you know about Volkaworm? How did we get to this basement? ”

Perhaps that's a natural question. Since Humans appeared underground and saved themselves from dying, Baria hasn't even spoken properly to Humans in over 400 years.

Harun briefly explained why he came down to the basement.

The elves gathered around Harun and carefully listened to his story. Their eyes became stronger as the story progressed.

At the end of his words, elasticity erupted from place to place. The elves who woke up in turn had been listening to Harun and Baria's conversation since someday.

“Wow! You caught a Volkaworm! ”

“Humans are amazing, too. ”

The first thing to be amazed at was the humans catching the Volkaworm. You caught the Volkaworm before you were interested in the dungeon. The reaction revealed how intense the Volkaworm was to them.

‘Well, he was a great guy. ’

It was a natural reaction to many of those strong men dying because of him. Having thought about it, Harun looked around at the Elves and saw the distorted elder of Baria, wondering if there was anything else on his mind.

“Something bothering you? ”

“Mmmm!”

Baria bursts into a loud roar instead of answering. Harun and others watched his face in response.

“There is more than one Volkaworm. ”

“What are you talking about? ”

I don't know why I suddenly hear that sound. What's wrong with not being one? Volkaworms are also living things. Of course, there can't be one.

“The Volkaworm is an extremely vengeful monster. Usually they only feed enough, but that's different if their families are harmed. A brutal slaughter against a living creature until his anger subsides. ”

“What does that mean? ”

Harun feels anxious.

“You can guess the Dark Elves have deliberately led to this. ”

“Oops!”

Perhaps by now, the Treasure Basin will have begun a gruesome slaughter of vengeful Volkaworms.

As long as humans are on the ground, it will be impossible to stop the Volkaworm from sucking up a certain range of terrain at once. Moreover, it will be more difficult to deal with the Volkaworm if all the strongest in each faction have entered the dungeon.

“Plus, the validation coffin is where anyone wants to go. Our Elves are there to protect their safety, but we don't have the right to choose between what we enter and what conditions we choose. ”

“The coffin of validation? I heard it was the Emperor's staircase. ”

“No, that's the correct name for the validation coffin. I don't know why the Dark Elf Lord changed his name so much, but it's been called the Validation Coffin since ancient times. ”

Something smells like a conspiracy. I didn't know the Elf Lord cheated on his name.

‘Maybe he changed his name to seductive, aiming for the emperors playing the Golden Battle? ’

It could be. The moment I heard the name, I saw the light in the eyes of the first prince and the first princess. He was happy as if he had given them what they wanted.

“Did any of the humans find this place before us? ”

Suddenly I thought that. It was too sudden that the coffin of the Validation was found, and the Dark Elf Lord cheated its name. There was some doubt that it had something to do with Humans.

“I heard it was there, but I don't know the details. Our family road in Grave City might know that. ”

Humans were right to come. The man or his forces must have spread the tale of the dungeon that was turned into a coffin of validation. Then he must also be related to the Empire Information Guild.

“Then why are you so...? ”

Baria said that with a mischievous look on her face.

“An unified Lord from the newly elected dark clan has issued a total Warrior Order to the entire clan. that we would join hands with the humans and leave this lost land and build our Elven kingdom in a land of abundance. ”

I was in a hurry. Apparently, there was a conspiracy going on around the Validation coffin.

“The Green have already had serious confrontations with the Dark because of the unified road election. After one bloodbath, being pushed from the force, it was inevitable that a large portion of our clan would sneak underground. Our village, where the Blue and Green families live together, has been ordered by the Unified Road, but we have decided to reject that order. However, if you refuse, you will be killed by traitors, so I am leading the warriors of the village to visit Grave City, the family's emergency residence. Unlike what I heard, the underground cancer was so complex that I lost my sense of direction a few times after avoiding the Volkaworm. In that situation, we ran out of food. ”

Baria was severely blaming herself as if it were her responsibility.

“There's already a war between races? ”

“Yes. The Dark are trying to force others to rule by force and violence. What's sad is that we've lost the Green to the Dark. ”

I had a rough idea what was going on. Though they didn't say anything more, they refused to follow orders from the Dark Nation and came down to the basement to join the resistance at the center of the Green Nation.

“Get your strength up first, anyway. We need to eat something roughly. I couldn't cook, but I brought enough food. ”

Harun loosened the grains, vegetables and mushroom powder well and prepared a meal with bread. The Elves have been starving for a long time and have begun to eat as if they were waiting for his recommendation. It's not much, but the faces of the elves who have been ingesting grain have turned pale in a long time.

“I really don't know how to repay this favor. ”

Baria thanks you for getting your strength back.

“That's okay. If we're meant to meet at a place like this, we're meant to help each other. I'm leaving soon. I'll give you some of my food. ”

Harun picks up a considerable amount of food from his magical backpack. Donnes took a huge load of supplies from the Dakarin Mercenaries. I heard elves don't like meat so I avoided meat like jerky.

I also packed a few Lesser Health Potions, just in case. I also took out six water bags made of sheepskin. Since the water is Nia, I don't need myself very much. I left only two.

The elves watching Harun prepare the food shake their eyes heavily over time. Soon, the cave was filled with anxiety. After noticing such a change, Baria hesitated several times, and finally opened her mouth.

“Where is Captain Harun going? ”

I was curious from the beginning, but it was strange not to ask so far.

“I'm not leaving anything out. In fact, we need to find something very special. It's a recipe left by someone I've been in a relationship with a long time ago, and the signal was detected here underground. I'm going to follow the signal. ”

Baria's expression relaxes a little.

“Do you know anything about this underground passage? ”

“No. There was a map made by the dwarves of the Red Anvil, and it was done by investigating only the top, but not the bottom. ”

Baria was a little disappointed by what he had expected. Watching Harun preparing to leave quietly, he squeezed his lips once and opened his mouth.

“Do me a favor. ”

“What is it?”

“I lost my sense of direction after a long journey. I don't think my current abilities will allow me to visit Grave City, where my family lives. Can you help me out here? As a mercenary, I've heard it's a job where you get asked to fix things and make money, but I'll pay you well. ”

That's what I wanted to say. However, it must be because they could not believe Harun.

“Do you know how to find it? ”

“Yes, roughly. They said there are 10 thousand rising cavities nearby. ”

“Very well. If you borrow the form of a quest, you won't have to worry about each other. I'll accept the Quest.Actually, I wanted to ask the Green Lords about something rather trivial, if possible. ”

“Thank you. What I haven't told you will be heard from our Lord. ”

Harun rises from his seat because Baria seems tired from a long conversation. Most of the elves regained their senses, but they still needed a day or two to recover their strength.

“I'll be back in a couple of days. There's something to prepare for, and there's something to confirm. I'll leave the food. ”

“Please.”

Baria nods with difficulty.

Dyris was curious, but didn't ask, that he was going around in the dark looking for something for three days.

Harun logs out a long way from the Elves' stay. I was also curious about the situation at the base and about Bell and Azman's condition, but I had more work to do.
