Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 26: Special Journalist Nick

“Oh, my God.” Hermione said sadly.

“Ron, you shouldn't have said that earlier, I was going to talk her out of it.” Ivan looked at Ron angrily.

“Come on, man!” Ron's a little reddish, "you don't really like the peach blonde, do you, a crying ugly ghost? ”

“Ron!” Hermione raised her voice violently.

“Of course I don't, but she's an important source of information.” Ivan snorted, "I had something to ask her, and now you're screwing it all up. ”

“You should apologize to Madam Tao Jin. Although she is not attracted, we should not have said that to her, especially if these words are heard by the furry ghosts.” Hermione said.

“Apologize?!” Ron's face is as red as his red hair.

“That's right, Ron!” Harry stabbed him, "I think Ivan and Hermione were right, and we did go a little too far on this. ”

“Okay, well, since you all think so, I'm going to apologize to her now.” Ron took a step back, gasping heavily and blushing to the point.

After that, he turned around and ran out of the basement room, and the three of them looked at him worried.

“Let's go too, I just saw that the food here is not suitable for living people.” Ivan sighed, "and I did have something to ask the Mockingjay. ”

The three of them just walked to the door and Nearly Headless Nick floated from the crowd.

“My dear friend, are you having fun? ”

“Oh, happy.” They lied.

“The number is also satisfactory.” Nearly Headless Nick proudly said, "The crying widow came all the way from Kent County, and I was about to speak. ”

Nick stopped the band and took a giant step to the podium under an ice-cold blue spotlight.

“My late lords, ladies and gentlemen, I have great sorrow...”

His words were not finished, a hunting horn sounded, the ghosts looked around excitedly, Nick's expression looked a little painful.

Suddenly, twelve ghost horses burst into the walls of an underground classroom, each with a headless rider. Everyone at the party applauded, and Ivan clapped, but as soon as they saw Nick's face, they stopped.

Twelve ghost horses ran to the center of the dance floor, stood still, first standing up with their hind legs, then kicking their hind hooves.

Immediately ahead is a big ghost with a bearded head beneath his arm and a trumpet blown. He jumped off the horse and lifted his head in the air so that he could look at the crowd from above, everyone laughed.

He walked toward Nearly Headless Nick, shoving his head softly around his neck.

“Nick!” He yelled, “How are you? Is your head still hanging there? ”

He made a rough laugh and patted Nearly Headless Nick on the shoulder.

“Welcome, Patrick.” Nick said stiffly.

“Living man! ”

Mr. Patrick glanced at Ivan, Harry and Hermione and pretended to jump so high that his head fell off again that everyone laughed.

“Very interesting.” Nearly Headless Nick said face-to-face.

“Leave Nick alone!” Mr. Patrick's head shouted from the floor, "and he was still upset that we wouldn't let him join the Hunters, but I wanted to say, look at this guy! ”

“I think...” Harry noticed Nick's far-reaching gaze, remembering his promise, and said hastily, “Nick is very scary! ”

“Haha! ”

Mr. Patrick's head shouted, "I guess he told you to say that. ”

Then, ignoring Harry, he started playing a game of overhead hockey with the rest of the Headless Hunters, and everybody turned to watch, and nobody stood on the podium with Nick.

Ivan sighed and felt the need to do something when he saw Nick's poor face.

He walked up to the podium and stood next to Nick, making a huge noise with his wand that reappeared everyone's attention.

“Good evening, as a guest of honor tonight, I would like to say two words from a living person's perspective. ”

The ghosts looked at Ivan curiously and wondered what the little wizard was going to say, a living man's speech, which seemed much more interesting than the Headless Hunters game.

“As a ghost, Sir Nicholas may not look as frightening as Mr. Patrick, but he is a very respectable nobleman, even in the living world. ”

There was a low level of discussion, and many ghosts questioned what Ivan had said.

“To allow more people to commemorate his annoyance, and to thank him for his selfless help to me.” Ivan continued, "I decided to invite Sir Nicholas to become a special journalist for The Hogwarts Magic and to publish his life stories in the newspaper. ”

The conversation was louder, and people were curious about the work of "special reporters”.

The life of ghosts is so boring that despite their endless lives, they have no senses, long years consume passion, their memories gradually decline, many ghosts, because they have nothing to do, stay in the dark corner all day, and eventually forget who they are.

This is horrible, everyone is desperate to find something to do, but choices are scarce, which is why the Headless Hunters are so popular.

But not everyone's head and body are separated, and the vast majority of ghosts remain powerless.

Ivan's newspaper's special reporter offers a new direction of choice, but Hogwarts Magic has never heard of it before.

“The Hogwarts Magic, a newspaper dedicated to school-at-large wizards, has reached 800 copies per issue and is steadily increasing.” It seems to be a sign of confusion, "explains Ivan," that we have in-depth partnerships with mainstream media such as The Prophet's Daily, The Wizard's Weekly and The Singing Reverse, such as this article about Sir Nicholas' life, which will be published in The Prophet's Daily. ”

Ivan's voice just dropped and the pan almost blew up below.

Nearly Headless Nick's life will appear in The Prophet's Daily, an unprecedented honor for a centuries-old ghost.

Everyone stared straight at Nick, envious and jealous.

It took Nick exactly a minute to react, and he looked at Ivan excitedly, thanking him for everything he had done for himself, touched by the mess. I'm sure if he could cry, he'd be crying now.

Evan's words helped Nick earn the respect of all the ghosts, get back on track for the night, and nobody paid any more attention to Patrick and his headless hunters.

The ghosts went ahead to congratulate Nick and then floated around Ivan, Harry and Hermione, asking enthusiastically if there were any vacancies in the work of "Special Journalists”.

The more press releases, the better.

There are nearly a thousand ghosts all over the UK, not all of them, and if they and their friends are persuaded to help themselves gather news, Hogwarts Magic will soon be able to surpass the Daily Prophet.

Looking at the enthusiasm of these ghosts, Ivan is even considering finding someone to keep track of their lives and all sorts of magic research.

However, this job is really too big and boring. Normally, little wizards are simply incompetent, so let's wait until they have the money to hire specialized staff.
