Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 65: Busy Summer Vacation

As expected, Ivan has been very busy all summer.

On the first day of the holiday, at 4: 00 a.m., Dobby the Pokémon rushed to Evan's house and, as in the past at Hogwarts or Malfoy's, he began to take care of his chores consciously.

At around 6: 00, Mrs. Mason woke up early to get ready for work, but found that breakfast was ready, garbage had been cleaned up, floors, glass and furniture had been cleaned up and even the lawn in the garden had been trimmed neatly.

It was incredible, she ran upstairs in panic and asked Ivan what was going on.

After figuring things out, Ivan had to tell his mother that it was all magic.

It took a lot of speech, but until the end, Mrs. Mason didn't fully believe him either. She really knew her son too well, and Ivan couldn't have done the chores on her own, especially at 4 or 5 a.m.

Ivan smiled bitterly when he saw his mother's suspicious eyes.

As soon as she leaves her room, Evan will summon Dobby to tell her that she doesn't need to do this anymore, but it doesn't seem to work very well.

Dobby stared into the eyes of two bulbs and looked pitifully at Evan, asking him repeatedly if he had any place to fail. After Evan had said it more than a dozen times, he suddenly cried and wept, suspecting that Evan was going to drive him away.

In the end, Ivan had to console him in reverse.

Through this, Evan found himself trying to convince a family to keep a little elvish to reduce his workload.

Fortunately, Hogwarts Magic works a lot, otherwise he really doesn't know what to do with a "workaholic” Elvish.

Unexpectedly, newspapers sell less during the summer vacation than they did during school.

Even without Rohit's photographs and novels, Ivan's Me and the Snake Monster in Hogwarts was of great interest.

In addition to the little wizard, many adult wizards have begun to subscribe to the newspaper. At first, they wanted to see something about the Chamber of Secrets, the Snake Monster, but later they were attracted to other articles in the paper, which most people thought were interesting.

This is largely due to the help of thousands of ghosts across the UK, led by the near-headless Nick, who are now the newspaper's main source of news, the ghosts who sleep 24 hours a day and distinguish themselves from the unique perspectives of humankind, providing Ivan with a lot of interesting press releases and unknown secrets.

Over the next few days, the newspaper's success scared Mrs. Mason into flying home, and in order not to worry her mother, Ivan eventually had to change her mailing address to Hogwarts, allowing Dobby to collect and tidy it up every day before sending it to herself.

Due to the overzealousness of readers and ghosts, the task of editing and reviewing manuscripts is becoming increasingly onerous.

Ivan was going to ask everyone to come and help, but the Weasleys won the Golden Gallon Award for the Prophet's Daily, and the family left for Egypt the second week of the summer vacation to visit their eldest son, Bill, and wait until the summer vacation was almost over.

Hermione also followed her parents to France, and although there were no fewer of her review articles, all other work lay on Ivan.

Harry and Colin came to help a few times, but their role was very limited.

They tend to discuss more recent Quidditch leagues, summer assignments, or topics related to Sirius Black escape than complicated word processing, and they only visited Ivan in the first days of the summer.

Shortly thereafter, Colin and his father and brother went to their home in the countryside for a summer.

Harry had a lot of bad luck, and since Ron called the Dusty family on the fifth day of the summer vacation, he's been locked up and never allowed to go out.

They wouldn't let Evan come in and visit in person.

Just as Ivan was preparing to rescue Harry, Harry had Hedwig send him a letter. Harry means he'd better be honest with his aunt these days if he wants Uncle Vernon to sign his parental consent form for visiting Hogsmeade.

Ever since then, Ivan has had to let Dobby send some food to Harry every day to make sure the Dustys don't starve him to death.

Even though the work of editing the manuscripts is heavy, Ivan alone can handle it.

In his spare time, he bought many more magic books related to magic additives, brain closure and the protection of the spell than he did for Diagonal Alley, which were not cheap to sell and cost him almost all his savings.

Protective magic spells require wands. According to the regulations on the rational restraint of underage sorcerers, underage little sorcerers are not allowed to use magic outside of school. Everyone's wands will be tracked by the Ministry of Magic. Therefore, after grasping the theoretical points of this spell, Evan focuses his main energies on brain encapsulation and magic additives.

As a magical art that resists the infiltration of external spirits, brain closure can close the brain to counteract magic invasion and influence.

The trick to applying this spell is to empty your brain so that no one else can get memories from your mind by magic. Brain closure masters like Snape can even fabricate a false memory to deceive an intruder.

Ivan couldn't do it yet, and in fact, he had a problem up there, and he found it hard to empty his brain.

There are always strange thoughts in his head, or unconsciously studying a magical puzzle. After a long time of experimentation, he had to use brain enclosure as a long-term practice project, hoping to master the spell by the end of the second school year.

Apart from brain closure and protective magic spells, Evan found that the Ecstasy was not quite what he had originally thought. This medicine does not help the wizard to permanently improve his magic, but only greatly increases it over time, aids the user in battle or completes a profound magic.

Evan thought that a precious, lost magic potion like Magic Booster was just a waste of time to improve the endurance of a battle.

After turning over all the magic books available to him again, he finally decided to use them to help him complete the Animagus deformation.

Animagus is a highly deformed spell that turns a sorcerer into an animal, and for most sorcerers, even adult sorcerers, it's extremely deep and dangerous, not to mention little sorcerers like Evan, who have just turned twelve.

During the Animagus process, practitioners are easily exorcised for a variety of reasons, eventually causing deformation failure or even death.

Therefore, the Ministry of Magic exercises strict control over this spell, requiring all Animal Transformers and Characteristics of Animals to be registered in the Office of Misuse of Magic of the Ministry of Magic, with dedicated personnel to monitor the entire process of first deformation, with only seven Animals successfully registered throughout the twentieth century.

Of course, this is certainly not the total number of Animagus Shape-shifter wizards.

Ivan knew there were a lot of unregistered Annie Mags, such as Peter the dwarf who had been wandering in front of him and Sirius Black, who was about to appear. In view of their deformation as students, Ivan, who had the help of an Ecstasy, decided to complete his own Animagus this summer.

He studied it carefully and wanted to be an Animagus, which required a lot of magic support in addition to a strong knowledge of the theory of deformation.

Theoretical knowledge is not an issue, and during Ivan's journal possession last semester, he deliberately asked Tom Riddle to teach Animagus about deformation and received a lot of help from him. Voldemort is no better than Dumbledore in his knowledge of magic, although his character is not so good.

Trouble is the amount of magic that needs to be consumed during the first deformation process. From man to animal, a lot of magic support is required. Depending on the deformer's physical condition, it is often one to five times that of an adult wizard. This is also the main reason why most wizards fail to complete the deformation.

It is common practice to purchase a large amount of auxiliary potion to replenish your magic.

This potion is very expensive and effective, and it is far from being as effective as a potion that greatly improves its own magic level.

Hence, with the help of a magic additive, Ivan's Animagus deformation is virtually non-problematic.

He tried many times and gradually got the hang of it. After more than a month of preparation, during the fifth week of the summer vacation, Evan locked himself in the room ready to try his first deformation, and he ordered Dobby to stay outside his room and no one was allowed to come in without his consent.
