Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 78: Signs of Death

Happy, warm times are always brief, and the panic and despair caused by the Phantom spreads rapidly in the castle, followed by worse things.

The first thing happened in divination class, and Ivan was a witness to the whole thing.

Because he didn't have class in the morning of the second grade, he followed Harry to the first divination class in the third grade.

To be honest, Ivan has always been interested in mysterious astrology and Professor Sybil Trelawny.

Previously, looking at the original book, he found that Trelawney's prophecies had almost all been fulfilled in the end, especially the two prophecies about Voldemort, which had determined Harry's future fate from the beginning.

But Professor Trelawny's actual performance disappointed Ivan.

If people are always afraid of the unknown, then Professor Trelawny takes full advantage of this fear of the future to pretend that God is haunted, and the first divination lesson is almost spent in intimidation.

She made a bad prophecy about every little wizard in this room, the first person to be poisoned was Neville, and Professor Trelawny mentioned his grandmother for no reason, which made Neville suspicious throughout the class and afraid of what happened to her grandmother.

Immediately thereafter, Parvati Patil cautioned each other to be careful of red-haired men, and Parvati did not dare approach Ron for the following week.

Immediately afterwards, she told everyone that in February, a malignant flu would force the class to suspend, and one of them would leave forever before and after Easter.

After she finished her remarks, there was a tense silence in the classroom.

Evan was not surprised at all why Hermione had left, and Professor Trelawny's divination lesson was not prophecy, but more like a curse.

If not out of courtesy, he wants to go now.

Professor Trelawny, before entering a state of true prophecy, was almost a crazy liar. As she herself had said, divination was a subject of great importance, and without that talent, there could hardly be any progress in astrology.

Perhaps Professor Trelawny really sees through something, but Ivan prefers to keep everyone in awe of divination through intimidation by talking nonsense.

In a subsequent tea divination, he paired with Hermione.

They quickly drank the hot tea from the cup, swayed the leaf slag as Professor Trelawny had requested, then dried the cup and swapped it with each other.

“You know what, Ivan!” Hermione stared at the brown things in the cup and whispered, "Predicting fate with tea slag made me feel stupid. ”

“Me too!” Ivan nodded with approval, and he saw Professor Trelawny approaching and said hastily, "But we'd better do as the book says, see what's in my cup? ”

“Um...” Hermione frowned, "It looks like a bug, but I'm not sure, if it's a head, it looks like..."

“Let me see, my child!” Professor Trelawny picked up the cup and her face gave a panicked look, "said the spider! ”

“This means that your plan will suffer setbacks.” Professor Trelawny whispered to Ivan, "And you better watch out for this creature, because I saw bad luck in your cup. ”

“Really?!” Hermione stood behind Professor Trelawny and said in disapproval, "From this perspective, it's like a sun, which, according to the book Unfogging the Future, means happiness, and Ivan seems to be on the verge of good luck. ”

Ivan looked at them nervously and talked about his cup, as if it really determined his destiny.

Whether it was bad luck or good luck, he dared not say.

But he couldn't see what the spider was afraid of. The only aggressive spider in Hogwarts is probably the eight-eyed giant spider in the forbidden forest, and he has no reason to be near them this year.

Ivan frowned if he said his plan would be frustrated.

Not waiting to think of anything, Ron and Harry sitting next to themselves suddenly burst out laughing and attracting Professor Trelawny's attention.

She turned around quickly and unhappily snatched the cup from Ron.

Everyone calmed down and concentrated on Professor Trelawny, only to see her staring at the cup, turning it counterclockwise.

“Falcon, darling, you have a dead enemy.” Professor Trelawny whispered.

“But everyone knows about it.” Hermione muttered loudly, "Everyone knows Harry and the mysterious...”

Professor Trelawny missed Hermione, and her big eyes looked into Harry's cup and continued to spin the cup.

“Great, an attack, this is not a lucky cup of tea!” She spins the teacup again, "skull, dangerous future! ”

Everyone stared at Professor Trelawney, and she finally turned the cup again and suddenly started gasping and screaming. She immediately sat in an empty armchair with her hands firmly pressed against her heart and her eyes closed.

“My dear child, my poor, dear child! No, don't say it, don't ask me anything...”

“What the hell happened, Professor?” Everyone stood up, slowly surrounded by Harry and Ron's table, closer to Professor Trelawny's armchair so that Harry's cup could be seen clearly.

“Well, if you want to say the donkey in here...” Hermione hesitated.

“That's unknown!” Professor Trelawny opened his eyes violently and watched Harry scream loudly, "Poor child, you have no idea! ”

Her words seemed magical, and all the children from the Wizard family sucked in a breath of cold breath with big eyes, while others looked confused.

“I'm sorry, Professor, what do I have?” Harry asked.

“Unknown, that's unknown!” Seeing that Harry didn't understand, Professor Trelawny shouted, “The ghostly big dog roaming around the cemetery! My dear child, this is a sign of evil, the worst of evil, a sign of death! ”

Harry's expression didn't come naturally up, and he remembered the big dog on the cover of the Death Alert and the dog he saw in the shadow of Mulan Crescent Street.

He hurriedly turned his head and looked at Ivan, who also saw the dog.

“What's unknown? It's just a stray dog! I've seen it, too, if bad luck is contagious..."

Hearing him, everyone couldn't help but take a step backwards and dare not look at them both. Evan insisted on not laughing, and suddenly he found it really interesting to scare people like that, which is why Professor Trelawney would love to do it.

Hermione glanced hard at Ivan, and she circled behind Professor Trelawny's chair and straightened out, "Professor, I don't think this looks ominous. ”

“Don't be upset when I say this, darling, I find the halo between you to be small and poorly receptive to future resonance. ”

Professor Trelawny looked unhappily at Hermione and Ivan and was dissatisfied with the atmosphere of panic they had so easily created.

She said in her blurrest voice, "I think that's it for today's lesson. Please pack your things. ”

The whole class silently returned the teacup to Professor Trelawny, who closed the book in colour, packed the bag, and even Ron dared not look at Harry.

Everyone is thinking about what Professor Trelawny said, and the unknown one in the Harry teacup.

Hermione seemed to want to continue the debate with each other, and Ivan hastily pulled him out of the classroom.

Harry and Ron are the only two left in the hallway.

Evan's bad luck is contagious and makes everyone nervous.

They all lowered their heads and ran down the stairs at the quickest possible speed, as if there was a plague above the attic.

Ivan, Harry, Ron and Hermione stood alone on the roof and watched as they fled in a hurry. No one knew what to say.

One second later, Ivan turned around and found Hermione vanished.
