Chapter 117: Combating the Wolves

Hermione rushed into the store and there was no one in it.

The light in the room was dark and Crooked Hill jumped onto the counter in the middle with two fine candles burning halfway up, dimly lit and in a trance.

Next to the candle, a cup of coffee was still pouring hot air out, the chair in front of the counter fell backwards, several newspapers scattered across the floor, seemingly silently complaining of the original owner's haste as he left.

“Come on in, Evan!” Hermione quickly weighed around, trying to find something that would help them resist werewolves, and said in an anxious voice, "The professors will be here soon, and we must insist..."

Her words were not finished, and a bang sounded behind her.

Hermione hurriedly turned around and saw that Ivan hadn't followed him in, and he actually closed the store door tightly.

Hermione was shocked and immediately realized what Ivan was doing: he wanted to stop the werewolf alone in order to protect himself!

“No, no!” Hermione stared sharply and she rushed to the door, shoving the door in panic.

The door was intact and it was locked from the outside by Ivan.

“Aloha Dong Kai!” Hermione gasped violently, fearing unprecedented fear in her heart, and she was worried about Ivan's safety.

In her view, that monster out there was almost invincible.

Ivan stayed out like this, and I'm afraid it won't be long before the werewolves kill her. She can't let this happen, and she knocks on the lock with her wand.

The door lock was unlocked when it clicked.

Hermione used her full strength to push out, but it didn't work. Although the door lock was unlocked, Ivan blocked the door with her body, and she couldn't push it.

Outside the store, Ivan built his last line of defense between werewolves and himself with his thin body.

“Come on in, Ivan!” Hermione cried with tears and fell paralyzed on the floor, and she cried with a tragic voice, “Please, come in! Please, you can't deal with that monster alone, you'll be killed. ”

Outside the store, Ivan leans on his body.

He hears Hermione making an amazing, frightening sound inside, his heart almost stops beating, he can feel Hermione banging hard against the door behind him, she wants to come out and help herself.

No, you can't let Hermione out!!!

It's too dangerous to protect herself.

Hermione's right. Just hold on for a few minutes at most, and the professors who get the information will be here.

Until then, he could never let the werewolf near Hermione.

It's his responsibility, man.

Ivan may not know the truth, but he does know that if he likes someone, he needs to protect them in times of danger.

He took a deep breath and made a dark determination in his heart.

From now on, this is his fight alone.

Even if Greyback tore him to pieces, even if he turned himself into a werewolf, he would never step aside.

This is his battlefield, and the door behind him is his final bottom line.

Evan's wand steadily pointed at the approaching werewolf, and the light at the tip of the wand grew brighter and brighter, waving the wand and emitting several spells.

The silver-white light came out of Evan's wand, Greyback couldn't help but squeal, and he had a terrible roar in his mouth. He was struck by a spell, flied backwards, and then rushed up from the ground faster.

Transforming into a werewolf has made Greyback lose all reason.

He's just a monster who knows how to bite and kill and doesn't seem to feel the pain.

Ivan's spell left a traumatic mark on him, which, like just now, did not stop Greyback, but further stimulated him.

He was getting closer and closer, and under the moonlight, Ivan could even see his reflection in his huge, yellow, crazy eyes.

He jumped at extremely fast speed, and Evan struck him with another spell, and he was bleeding.

Greyback was covered in blood, but he couldn't even see a scratch. After being struck by Evan's spell, he became braver and crazier.

This is the werewolf, who, without transformation, like ordinary wizards, can communicate normally with people, many of whom are as gentle and rational as Professor Lupin.

But after the transformation, they were the most dangerous magical creatures in the magical world.

In Where Wonder Animals by Newt Scamander, werewolves have the highest level of danger, similar to the amazing creatures of Fire Dragons, Snake Monsters, Human Lion Scorpion Beasts, Five Foot Monsters, and Customer Mella Beasts.

A werewolf can fight dozens of adult wizards at the same time, and as a werewolf chief, Greyback is the most ferocious and fierce of the werewolves, and little wizards of his age like Evan can't possibly be his opponents.

The masked black wizard across the street had stopped the attack, and he stood beside him with his wand and seemed to want to see how Ivan had been torn apart by Greyback.

Ivan gasped coarsely against the store, behind him was Hermione's cry.

She still kept pushing the door, screaming Ivan's name in her mouth and hoarseness.

In front of them, Greyback approached step by step.

Ivan did not continue to attack Greyback with his magic level and continued to attack Greyback with ordinary spells, just wasting his little power.

He seemed to give up completely, but the magic wand was shining brighter and brighter in his hand.

Ivan's eyes locked tightly on Greyback, and all the magic gathered around him, gathered on his wand.

Since ordinary spells have limited killing power over werewolves, he uses black magic.

As long as Hermione is protected, even with the most evil and forbidden dark magic, Ivan is willing to look at the nearer werewolves, knowing that he has no way back.

In a bitter cold breeze, the werewolf Greyback, this bloody monster pounded over Ivan.

He waved his claws and tried to tear the boy in front of him.

He was going to rip the boy's throat open, and he was eager to taste the blood.

Watching Greyback getting closer and closer to himself, Ivan couldn't move, he could smell the stinging blood on the other side, he was trembling all over his body, but his right hand holding the wand was steady as a rock, he was ready to use a black magic that he hadn't fully mastered, which would drain all his remaining magic, and he had only one chance.

He has to wait for the opportunity, for Greyback to get close enough to himself!

Doing so would be like risking your life, either repelling the werewolf or being completely torn apart.

For Hermione's sake, Ivan did not retreat, and he saw Greyback's deformed, sharp pointed teeth bite at his neck.

The next second, he held the wand up and pointed it at the head of the werewolf, emitting a dark blue ray of light.
