Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 137: Unpleasant Lunch

Ivan, Harry and Hermione left the campus hospital, and when they arrived in the auditorium hall, they found that the long tables normally used by the four colleges were moved against the wall, with only one square table in the center of the room for 20 people, and all those preparing to stay for Christmas this year were seated beside the table.

Ivan didn't see Dumbledore, his position was empty.

Apart from him, Professor McGonagall, Professor Snape, Professor Flitwick and Hagrid were all there, as were the gatekeepers, Felch.

Felch has taken off his usual brown coat and worn a very old and rather outdated tuxedo. Next to Professor Frivi are two extremely nervous first-year students, both from Ravenclaw College; on Snape's left, a shady Slytherin College sixth grade student.

And Ron, he sat alone at the end of the table, and nobody wanted to come near him.

Harry hesitated for a moment and walked over to Ron, his face full of worry.

Ivan hastily grabbed Harry, he couldn't just go over there. Because of Professor Lupin last night, Harry's normal reaction should be to hate Ron.

If you get close, it's easy to crack a snake.

Peter Pettigrew was a sly opponent and had to be careful.

The three of them looked at each other, away from Ron, and sat side by side against Hagrid.

Apart from the strange smile that has been hanging around Snape's mouth, the atmosphere on the dining table is very low and depressing. There is no happy atmosphere at all about Christmas. Everyone eats lunch silently and no one talks.

“Evan, Hermione, how are you two doing?” Hagrid asked sadly.

“Don't worry, Mrs. Pomfrey says we're fine, just..." Ivan hasn't finished his speech yet, and he sees three owls flying into the auditorium.

With three red envelopes in their mouths, they flew straight up to Dumbledore's empty position.

“Enough is enough, these yelling letters again, they've been ringing all morning! ”

Professor McGonagall stood up and looked furiously at the three yelling letters thrown at the table by the owl, the envelope square burning.

She pulled out the wand and waved gently at the yelling letter.

Three blue flames rushed out of the red envelope, which was burning slowly, turning the envelope into ash without a sound.

“Incredible, incredible!” Professor Flivey said disturbingly in a sharp voice, "Are these people insane?! They sent Dumbledore a shouting letter, and I haven't seen anything so crazy in years. ”

“Stupid owls, and equally stupid yelling letters!” Snape grinned coldly.

“I noticed all these yelling letters from your college students, Severus?!” Professor McGonagall whispered.

“Thanks for reminding me that I didn't find this before!” Snape's mouth shows a slight cold smile, "but I can understand why the parents did it. It seems to me that the headmaster was indeed inappropriate this time, and who would have thought that the school professor would be a werewolf? Who would have thought that this tamed werewolf would attack his own students? With this lesson, I'm sure the headmaster will be very, very careful when hiring people in the future! ”

“Professor Lupin is innocent!” Harry looked at Snape angrily and couldn't help shouting, "He didn't hurt anyone, he...”

“Quiet, Porter! Gryffindor deducts five points!” Snape turned his head and looked at Harry, laughing, "I don't want to know what your relationship is with that werewolf, but I have to warn you, watch your tone and don't yell at me like an uncultivated werewolf! ”

Harry sat down exasperated, forcing himself not to see Snape.

“Don't worry, Harry! With Dumbledore here, Professor Lupin will be fine.” Hagrid whispered comfort, looking a little underconfident, "which is terrible, and I can't remember how many of these three owls are today, and they keep flying in with yelling letters. ”

“All morning long?” Ivan wondered.

“Yes, you and Hermione didn't show up for breakfast, didn't see the scene, in front of the whole school, more than 400 yelling letters at the same time blow up! ”

“I just told them!” Harry was powerless to ask, "Hagrid, any news from Dumbledore or Professor Lupin? ”

“There is indeed a terrible news.” Hagrid hesitated to say, "I just heard that the ministry is preparing to put Professor Lupin directly in Azkaban! ”

“How can they do this without a trial!” Harry glanced at Ron, his eyes quickly shifted back, and he lowered his voice and said, "Ron's accusations are obviously absurd, and Professor Lupin will be proven innocent. ”

“I know, it's Lucius Malfoys, the guy behind it! Hagrid replied angrily," It's not that I don't believe in Lupin, but if I were you, I'd rather die than be locked up in Azkaban. ”

“Is it scary there, Hagrid?” Hermione asked carefully.

“You can't imagine I was there for a few days 50 years ago when a student was killed by a monster in an unjust control room.” Hagrid said calmly, "Nowhere is it like there, I thought I was going crazy. I keep thinking about horrible things in my head, the day I was fired from Hogwarts, the day my father died..."

“Is it the Dementors?! ”

“Yes, you've all seen these monsters this year, but I'm afraid you haven't seen thousands of psychedelics together, that horrible feeling...” Hagrid closed his eyes and revealed painful memories on his face, "Azkaban Prison was built on a deserted island far from the coast, full of psychedelics. You just stay there for a while and you don't know who you are, and you don't know what it means to be alive. I remember that I often had to sleep to death, and when they let me out, I seemed to live again, and I remembered everything, which was the most wonderful feeling in the world. Remember, the Dementors won't let me go. ”

“But you're not guilty?!” Hermione said.

“Crimes?!” Hagrid snorted angrily, "Do you think they value this? They don't care, they already have more than 500 people with them, they can totally suck the happiness out of these people, they don't care who's guilty and who's not. ”

Hearing Hagrid, Harry felt his stomach liquefied into water and his blood instantly became cold.

“Don't worry!” said Ivan hastily, seeing Harry and Hermione's face, "Professor Lupin will not be held in Azkaban, and after tonight we can prove his innocence. ”

Harry's not talking, he's still thinking about Azkaban.

He suddenly remembered that Sirius Black had been locked up there for twelve years, and that must have been a very bad feeling.
