Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 158: Death God Never Absent

Dark, silent in the forbidden woods at night.

By tracking the drug's help, Ivan was able to feel Peter Pettigrew right ahead of him, slowly but constantly moving forward.

There was still bloodstain on his winding trail.

“Fluorescent flashes!” A crisp, subtle sound emitted a faint light at the end of the Evan wand.

He rushed forward, walking for about 10 minutes, with no sound in his ears other than the breaking of branches and the sound of leaf sand. Around him, the ancient trees that had grown over the centuries became denser and the stars on his head were invisible, and Ivan even thought he'd lost them if it hadn't been for the help of tracking agents.

In the ancient forbidden woods, Ivan's wand sparkled alone in an infinite pitch of pitch black, and he found Peter the dwarf had strayed from the path.

After crossing a tree stump full of moss, he could hear the murmuring water.

Obviously there is a stream somewhere nearby.

Through the faint light at the end of the wand, Ivan saw Peter the dwarf disappear behind a tall tree. He grabbed the wand and rushed up. Although in a hurry, it was impossible to walk quickly, the ground was full of tree roots and stumps, blocking the road, and it could not be seen in the dark light.

Ivan's clothes were hung by the nearby low branches and pricks, and he noticed that the nearby ground was leaning downwards, although the trees were still as dense as they had just been.

All of a sudden, he stopped, holding his wand firmly against his chest.

He could feel that besides himself and Peter Pettigrew, something was fast approaching, gliding on the falling leaves near him with the strange sound of clicking.

Ivan had to be careful, he had heard Hagrid say that there were many dangerous magical creatures in the forbidden forest.

He concentrated his magic on the wand, squinting in front of him and carefully walking forward for a few steps.

Peter Pettigrew had stopped and hid behind the tree in front of him.

As Ivan approached the tree, and the wand's faint fluorescence mapped, he suddenly saw a giant, creepy monster's shadow slanted to the ground. He didn't even have time to turn around, and a long, furry thing cut him up and hung his face halfway down.

Ivan struggled, waving his wand!

He heard the clicking sound again, and it was this monster who caught him that was dragging him into the pitch-black bush...

Peter Pettigrew shivering behind a giant tree at the moment Ivan was attacked.

He was heavily asthmatic and his broken right hand was wrapped in his robe in chaos, causing him to die from severe injuries all over his body.

Infinite darkness swept in, and he felt himself dying, unprecedented fear swept in his heart.

He did not understand why things had come to this point, and his conspiracy was seamless. But after meeting the 12-year-old boy in Lupin's office, the situation began to change sharply, and he even had to use the magic that the Dark Lord had taught him again, the taboo black magic.

The last time he used this magic, he paid for a finger.

And this time, he gave a palm of his hand, and the intense backlash and explosive power of black magic made him lose even the power to move.

Click, click, click...

A strange voice passed over, Peter Pettigrew struggling to raise his head.

The disturbed little eye protruded outward, and he seemed to see something climbing down the tree.

Click, click, click...

Weird voices were getting closer and closer, and that thing was just above his head.

This unknown monster seems to be attracted by the smell of blood on his body.

Peter Pettigrew tried to escape, but his body was weak and weak, and he went backwards and backwards, full of sweat and panicked face, alive with fear.

He did not know what monster was approaching above his head, but he knew that welcoming himself would be death, which was the price he deserved.

Peter the dwarf can't remember how many nightmares he's had, and he's been waiting for the day ever since he sold out James and Lily to Voldemort.

Now death has finally come to him!

He remembers his childhood, and every night before he went to bed, his mother would read him the fairy tale The Tales of Beetle the Poet.

He remembers the story he was most impressed with, the one about the legend of the Three Brothers. Peter had almost forgotten the story, but there was a phrase in it that he always remembered: Death might be late, but he would never be absent.

Peter Pettigrew only hoped that the process would not be too painful if he was destined to die.

Ivan's head hung in the air, and he flanked his wand.

There was a red light at the end of the wand, and behind him the monster was shot out and Ivan fell heavily on the ground.

He climbed up so fast that he could see the guy who had just caught himself.

The monster has eight strange, sweaty, thin legs and a pair of shiny, giant black claws over his head.

Behind it is a monster like this, who is staring at him with a lot of creepy black eyes.

These two monsters look like spiders, but not the little spiders that rushed through the leaves, but each with the size of a pulling horse, eight eyes, eight legs, a dark, Mausoleum giant.

Eight Eyes Giant Spider!!

It was terrible, Evan realised what had happened to him, and Peter Pettigrew panicked and fled, bringing them into the territory of the Octavian spider.

As documented in Where the Wonder Animals Are, eight eyed giant spiders are huge, biologically ferocious spiders with eight eyes that live in dense jungles covered with dense black hair; adult spider legs extend to both sides, spanning up to fifteen feet.

They also secrete venom, are very scary predators, and eat almost anything.

Ivan knew that there were eight giant spiders in the forbidden forest, all descended from the Aragok that Hagrid raised, and Hagrid even deliberately found a spouse for his furry friend to reproduce. He also remembers the book Where Wonder Animals Says that eight ocular giant spiders can spawn up to a hundred eggs at a time.

Laying eggs several times a year for 50 years, the eight-eyed giant spider in the forbidden forest can reach a horrible number!

Ivan grabbed the wand and the other two guys didn't jump right up.

Maybe they're looking at Ivan's weaknesses, maybe they feel dangerous, maybe they're waiting for their companions, maybe...

Anyway, Ivan and two giant eight-eyed giant spiders confronted each other strangely.

The next second, Peter Pettigrew's terrible, powerless cry came from behind the tree next to Evan, and he was attacked!
