Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 160: The Reward of the Eight Eyes Spider

Along a steep downhill, for about twenty minutes, Ivan came to the edge of a wide recess where trees were cleared and his head raised to see the vast stars.

The empty ground in the center of the concave ground was covered with thick fallen leaves, stepped on and felt like walking on a carpet. Ivan saw Peter the dwarf and the octave spider that took him in the middle of the void, in front of them a giant, hazy, hemispherical web of spiders.

“Evan, Evan, you're here to save me! I knew you'd come! ”

Peter the dwarf sobbed softly, completely miserable, and he lay on the ground, Cersei trembling, seemingly without any dignity, and he crawled over like a bug, trembling and said, “Please, don't leave me here alone, don't...”

“Shut up!” Ivan said furiously.

Peter Pettigrew's constant crying upset him, and Peter now looks like this, making Ivan sick and despised him even more.

So pathetic, so weak, so stupid, why is there such a person?!

Ivan didn't go to see Peter Pettigrew, his eyes turned to the eight-eyed spider beside him.

It lay on a thick leaf, with eight spider legs shaking slightly, four eyes on one side of the body looking at itself and Peter the Little Dwarf, and four eyes on the other side looking at the incredibly large spider web not far away.

Click-tock, click-tock, click-tock...

Its cheeks move at high frequencies, making a rushing clicking sound.

Evan suddenly realized that the octave spider was talking. It's not easy to hear, because every word it says has to click-click its cheeks.

“Aragok!” It shouts, "Aragok! ”

A spider the size of a small elephant drilled very slowly out of the middle of that foggy, hemispherical web. Its body and legs are gray in the dark, and every eye on its ugly head with a big cheek is covered in white, and it's blind.

Seeing Aragok, Ivan couldn't help squeezing the wand in his hand.

This guy should be Hagrid's pet, the ancestor of all the eight-eyed giant spiders in the forbidden forest.

The image in front of him was too frightening, and although there was some preparation in his mind, when this giant spider appeared, Ivan realized that he had previously thought of Aragok too small, with eight spider legs at both ends of his body, each thicker than his own.

Peter the dwarf, shuddering all the time on the ground, suddenly stopped shaking, his mouth was huge and he seemed to be making a silent howl, his eyes bursting outward.

This is a nightmare, a nightmare that has been magnified countless times.

With the advent of Aragok, countless eight-eyed giant spiders didn't know where to drill from.

Each of them is bigger than the three that just attacked Evan and Pete the Dwarf, and they are densely packed together, and when they see something in the center of the site, they're all excited to chew and make a scary, disgusting sound.

Peter Pettigrew a little numb on his scalp, and he swore that if he could choose to die, he would rather be torn apart by Sirius Black or absorbed into his soul by Psychotrophy than be the food of these spiders.

“What's going on?” Aragok clicks and clicks and says, "Two big cheeks move fast, with a little majesty in their voice," why summon me? ”

“Man!” said Peter Pettigrew, the spider who brought him here.

“Is that Hagrid?” Aragoch approached Evan and Peter the dwarf, his eight milky white eyes staring blindly.

“No, stranger. ”

“Kill them!” Click-click, Aragoch said irritably, "Don't bother me with this, I'm sleeping...”

All the other spiders got excited when they heard Aragok.

They approached the center of the site, ready to split Ivan and Peter Pettigrew as soon as Aragok returned.

“No, no, do something!” Peter Peter Pettigrew on the ground, holding Ivan's robe tight, and looked panicked at the eight eyed giant spiders around him.

Evan kicked Peter Pettigrew aside and he took a step forward, even seeing Aragok's fur clearly.

He swallowed saliva and his heart seemed to want to leave his chest and jump out of his voice.

“Wait, Aragok!” Ivan shouted, "I'm Hagrid's friend! ”

“Hagrid's friend?!” Aragok hesitated in a click-clicking sound and said slowly, "Hagrid never sent anyone to our dimples before! ”

“My name is Ivan Mason, and I'm in the castle, and my relationship with Hagrid...”

“I've heard your name!” Aragok was dancing, “Hagrid told me a few months ago that you killed the guy in the castle. ”

“Exactly!” Ivan replied eagerly, "Me and Harry killed the Snake Monster! ”

Hearing the word Snake Monster, all the clicks in the concave ground suddenly stopped, and the whole world suddenly became unprecedented silence.

Apart from his heavy wheezing and Peter Pettigrew sobbing, Ivan could no longer hear anything.

He even thought all the octave spiders had left, and he turned his head and saw that the octave spiders were still squeezing there, but they were all quiet and even stepped back.

Their ugly spider face, very humane to show fear.

“How dare you mention that name!” Aragok dancing his big cheek wildly, making an unprecedented clicking sound, and his emotions violently said, "That guy is our spider's dead enemy! ”

Its voice was echoed by that massive group of spiders on the concave floor, like a clap of applause, clicking and clicking, and Ivan saw the spiders come back together again, countless long legs moving on the ground, huge shadows swinging around them.

“Come on, say something else. Don't mention that guy!” Peter Pettigrew warned Ivan with an almost asphyxiating voice.

Apparently, Aragoch thought the same thing, and he changed the subject and said to Ivan, "Hagrid's friend, what are you doing in our recess? ”

“I tracked this guy down by accident and he was an evil dark wizard who plotted a despicable conspiracy inside the castle!” Ivan hesitated for a moment and went on to say, “This guy works for Voldemort...”

Peter Pettigrew convulsed when he heard the name.

“Voldemort?!” Aragok repeated slowly, seemingly without any particular reaction, and slowly said, "I've heard the name. Fifteen years ago, this wizard sent someone to contact me, and you humans were at war, and he asked us to join his camp, but I turned him down, and I'm not interested in the wars of the wizards. Although my children are very eager to follow this wizard, Voldemort promised them a very generous reward, they..."

When Voldemort was heard, the eight eyed giant spiders around them became obviously more excited. They all seem to recall the promise of the Voldemort, which they could not refuse at all: to be faithful to the Voldemort, fresh human flesh can be obtained as food.
