Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 172 Existence of Contradictions

Just as the python was about to touch Ivan, it turned into a snake-like black strap that automatically wrapped around Ivan's neck, wrist and ankle, layered over and over, tying Ivan firmly from head to foot.

Ivan was tied up like a mummy, lying powerless on the ground.

“I should have done this to you. You and Porter are a problem!” Snape said-- “Remember, Mr. MasterTone! In the future, before dueling, you need to distinguish the power gap between them and not try to challenge opponents you simply can't beat. This behavior is pure death! ”

“Professor...”

“Shut up and lie quietly here before I grab Blake.” Snape turns his head and sticks his wand back in his waist, "Helping a murderer is stupid! If I'm the principal, the first thing I do is fire you and Potter. ”

Snape bypasses Ivan and leaves the public lounge.

“Wait, Professor!” Ivan screamed out loud, "You can't go after Sirius Black, he's innocent, Peter Pettigrew..."

Ignoring Ivan's cry, Snape's shady face did not pause at all, walking sideways out of the Gryffindor Public Lounge.

“Twelve years ago, Peter the dwarf betrayed Harry's parents to Voldemort, and he killed Harry's mother!” Ivan continued to shout out, hoping Snape would hear him, "If you want revenge for Lily, you have to trust me. ”

Ivan's voice echoed in an empty public lounge.

He didn't know if Snape had heard himself, or if he had, but still didn't believe him as before.

Believing Sirius Black is innocent is a very difficult thing for Snape, who has been blinded by hatred. He seems completely insane in this matter, and now he just wants to catch and kill Black.

Ivan just wanted to hear Lily's name so he could calm down.

Three seconds have passed and Snape seems to have gone far without hearing footsteps outside.

Just as Ivan gave up hope, he saw Snape fold back.

His wand regained its grip and his face was gloomy and horrible, and he quickly walked to Evan.

“Repeat what you just said, Mason!” Snape stood high and looked at Evan without the slightest feeling in his cold voice, "and told me what had happened back then that if I had lied, I would have made you pay. ”

“Trust me, Professor!” Ivan hastily said, "It was Peter the dwarf who betrayed Harry's parents to Voldemort, a traitor. Peter did everything, and he killed Lily, Harry's mother. ”

“Blake is their secret!” Snape said word for word.

“No, at Sirius' suggestion, Harry's parents replaced the confidential with Peter the dwarf at the last minute, and no one but the four of them knew that. They used to think it was a great idea, and no one would think that the Porters' secret would ever be Peter, a weak, humble dwarf. ”

“These are all Blake's bullshit, he's lying, he's running away from his responsibility to betray them.” Snape's gaze turned hollow, and he looked blindly ahead.

Evan knew that because they were using brain blockage, and Snape didn't want to let himself know what he was thinking, he didn't want to show his true will. He didn't want anyone else to know about his feelings for Harry's mother, Lily Evans, which was the softest and most vulnerable part of his heart.

Snape keeps his inner protections tight and solid, without revealing any cracks.

He looks like he's trying to figure out the truth about what happened back then, but in fact, he only cares about Lily. He won't say it, and if possible, he'll bury it in his heart, forever, until he dies.

She clearly loved someone deeply and was willing to do everything for her, but she would never say anything.

The enemy he hates most marries the woman he loves most in his life, and he can only silently give his blessings behind his back.

The only love of his life, the existence willing to give everything to protect, was finally murdered by his leak.

Even Dumbledore, the most brilliant wizard, relied on his magic, but died in the end.

As the greatest double-sided spy of all time, he deceived everyone, including the Dark Head, but didn't really know him until after he died.

This is Snape, a paradox to the extreme.

“Pettigrew Peter is not dead, he is an Animagus, he is now Ron's rat spot, and he controls Ron with a soul-killing spell.” Ivan looked into Snape's hollow eyes and continued, "Trust me, Professor, I'll prove it to you. ”

Snape stood there quietly, not talking, waiting for Ivan to continue.

“Peter the dwarf is now preparing to flee, in Professor Lupin's office! If it's fast enough, you can meet him in the hall on the ground floor.” Ivan gasps, "Believe me, just stop the rat who was about to escape from the castle and you'll know the truth about what happened. ”

Evan's voice just dropped and Snape turned around and left, as he was pushing too hard and his black robe was in the air, making a trembling noise.

Watching Snape leave in a hurry, Ivan dazed for a moment.

The other party did not appear to have any intention of releasing him, or was anxious to verify what he had just said, leaving him here in a hurry.

Ivan struggled hard, but the rope was tightening.

“Animagus!” He whispered.

The next second, Ivan's body changed rapidly, turning into a tiny black cat, and he jumped aside sensitively before the rope shrunk again.

Ivan leaves the public lounge and quickly follows a dark, empty path towards the foyer. As he approached, he heard Sirius Black roaring wildly inside the hall, questioning Peter Pettigrew.

Everything was exactly as it had been before, and Snape stopped Peter the dwarf from fleeing the castle at the last minute as he stood quietly behind the curtain on the second floor, holding the wand tightly in his hands and listening to the conversation in the hall.

“I know, I admit, I did get confused, but think about it for me. What can I do? You don't know, that black devil, his powerful weapon, you can't even imagine. I was scared, Sirius! ”

Evan heard Peter Pettigrew's sharp, trembling voice coming up, and he admitted everything.

Hearing that, Snape stood behind the curtain and took a step backwards.

He didn't seem to believe it, and the expression on his face was painful.

Ivan quietly walked over and noticed Snape seemed to be crying.

Tears soaked Snape's eyes, and he didn't notice Ivan, who seemed to be trapped in memories of the past, returning to that pitch-black night twelve years ago.
