Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 186: Hermione's Christmas Gift

Because of the newspaper, Ivan, Harry and Hermione are still in the hospital, but are busy dying every day.

Especially Evan, who stays up late almost every day.

In this atmosphere, the dawn of Christmas arrived quietly, the weather was cold, and there were only three people left in the ward, Evan, Harry and Hermione.

On Christmas morning, Ivan was woken up by a pillow that Harry threw at him.

“Merry Christmas! ”

“Merry Christmas, Harry! Merry Christmas, Hermione! ”

Ivan climbed up in a hazy sleep, staring at his own bed and feet in the middle of the night, where there was already a pile of mountainous packages.

Harry and Hermione are already tearing up the wrapping paper for their own gifts, and Ivan notes that the three of them received significantly more gifts this year than in previous years.

“Strange, why are there so many gifts?” Ivan muttered.

“Most of these gifts are from readers of Hogwarts Magic, many of which are simply Christmas cards.” Hermione explained.

Evan, Harry, and Hermione have had a lot of fame since the Peter the Dwarf series was published. While the focus is on Sirius Black, people are surprised that three twelve- or three-year-olds can capture an evil black wizard.

Many of their peers began to worship them and write to them regularly.

Apart from the little wizard in England, Ivan noticed that many of these Christmas cards were still sent by foreign mail. The pink card in his hand, for example, came from a 10-year-old girl named Gabriel Lacoule, from France.

On the greeting card, Gabriel first wished Evan a merry Christmas and then, in brief words, expressed her admiration for Ivan's capture of Peter the dwarf and hoped that Ivan would reply to her.

Looking at that lovely little angel pattern at the end of the greeting card, Ivan would smile, and he would hear Harry's annoying voice as he was about to go to see the other Christmas cards.

“Check it out, the Desirees sent me an old pair of socks, which is worse than last year's toothpick and the 50 pence coin from the previous year. They must think I'm a little elf in the family!” Harry threw his socks under the bed and unwrapped a text message attached to the package.

It says, "Ask him if he can stay in Hogwarts for the summer."

“Thank God I'm finally getting rid of them this summer. Sirius said I could live with him, wondering if he had a house?!” Harry rejoiced, and he put a scarlet sweater over him, continuing, "This is a hooded leather coat from Mrs. Weasley, and you both seem to have it. ”

“I saw my chestnut, but it doesn't have any letters on it.” Hermione picked up a box and hesitated to look at it for a while, putting it aside gently, "this is a Hagrid crushed meat pie that smells very special and has a mix of cabbage and pork liver, I think it's best not to try it easily. ”

Ivan also began to open his own presents, and in addition to the readers' Christmas cards, Mrs. Weasley's and Hagrid's gifts, his parents ordered him a set of golden crucibles.

He had seen this in the Diagonal Alley store before, and the price was very high.

In Ivan's view, this golden crucible is a complete art collection, and no wizard loses so much as to make magic with it.

Ivan sighed and carefully hid the golden crucible.

His parents lacked knowledge of the magic world, were accustomed to seeing the wizard from the point of view of Muggles, and believed that the most expensive was the best.

Since Ivan went to Hogwarts, they've bought him too much unnecessary stuff. The most typical is the flying broomstick wheel 2001 from last Christmas, which was placed under Evan's bed until Harry borrowed it for use and was never taken out.

When Ivan brought it up when he came home for the summer vacation, they realized that the sorcerer didn't always fly around in the air with a broom, as in the story.

And it just seems to me that my son has a severe fear of heights that even magic can't cure.

In addition to his parents' gifts, Harry gave him a set of Quidditch model toys, a giant glass ball with a Quidditch field inside, which automatically flew up for the game as soon as he touched it with a wand.

Ron gave him a book, Ginny was a gorgeous feather pen, Colin was a wizard chess game, Luna was a very valuable photograph that was said to prove the existence of the bubble snot monster, Fred and George's gift was a prank prop they had developed themselves, and the other little wizards were all kinds of candy and food, mostly ordered in Hogmord.

Evan was surprised that Autumn Zhang also gave him a gift. It's a dark blue scarf, very well made and should be from Mrs. Morkins' shop.

“Ivan, thank you for the watch.” Hermione looked up and saw the scarf in Evan's hand, and the lovely smile on her face slowly solidified, and she hesitated to say, "This scarf is...”

Hermione narrowed her eyes and Ivan knew it meant she was thinking.

“It's a gift from Autumn.” Ivan explained.

“Well, I don't know... I thought my gift was...”

Evan looked strangely at Hermione, turning red all of a sudden, not knowing what she was talking about, and with her eyes he saw the last package under his bed.

It's supposed to be Hermione's gift, with a bladder in it.

In Hermione's eyes, Ivan tore the package apart and it was actually a scarf.

A Gryffindor lion has been sewn on this red and yellow matching scarf, but it looks a little deformed, much worse than the one Hermione put on herself in autumn.

Evan suddenly, no wonder Hermione now has this look.

Her Christmas presents are identical to autumn and are all a scarf.

Evan remembers Hermione telling herself in Hogsmeade the other day that she was going to be ready for her Christmas present for a long time and that she was sure she would be happy.

Nobody expected her gift to be a scarf.

This scarf should have been made by Hermione herself, and I don't know how long she stitched it, but it must have been very difficult.

Until today, there was no wind at all. No one found Hermione making a scarf, and she should have gone back to her bedroom every night after everyone went to bed and made it by herself.

Touching a slightly rough scarf, Ivan's heart was full of emotion.

In terms of value, this scarf is not very valuable; in terms of finesse, it is much worse than the one that Autumn gave it, but it has a needle full of girls' hearts.

Ivan raised his head and looked at Hermione, blushing.

He knew that she must be very nervous right now and had carefully prepared such a long gift like everyone else, if she were herself, she would surely be lost and confused.

“I don't know, Evan!” Hermione blushing said, "I didn't expect Autumn to give you a scarf, I knew it...”

“Thank you, Hermione!” Ivan interrupted Hermione and said softly, "I love this scarf, it's the best Christmas gift I've ever received. ”
