Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 204: Rock Caves on Cliffs

Evan, according to Dumbledore, senses the traces left by magic.

But he didn't feel anything, he blinked.

Looking at Sirius, Harry, Hermione, they probably don't know what Dumbledore is talking about.

As a result, the power gap between them and Dumbledore is very large.

“Do you three mind getting wet? ”

“It's okay, we don't mind!” Ivan, Harry, Hermione shook their heads.

“Well, now that the tide is rising, the sea will get deeper and deeper, we must hurry and let's take a chance.” Dumbledore turned his head and continued, “I walked first and the three of you followed me behind Sirius Hall. As for Klitsche, you wait for us in the cave. ”

After some preparation, they started to move.

Dumbledore suddenly became as agile as a young man, sliding gently from the pebble into the water and swimming towards the pitch-black crack beneath it.

He held the wand in his mouth in the perfect breaststroke position.

Ivan, Harry and Hermione followed with haste, and Sirius was behind them.

The winter sea water is cold and bitter and everyone feels terrible.

Especially Evan, who had too many magic books in his arms, after his clothes were soaked with water, became swollen and heavy, dragging him straight down.

He took a deep breath and smelled stinging salty and seaweed.

Then he sank into the water, struggling to find Dumbledore in front of him, and that narrow gap deep in the cliff.

But he didn't see anything, not even Harry and Hermione, who were supposed to be next to him, and seemed to have a powerful suction deep beneath the sea, like a dark black vortex, dragging him deep.

In the dark, cold waters, Ivan was helpless and could not even breathe.

Someone grabbed him while he was dying.

It was Sirius, and he was very powerful, pulling Ivan to swim quickly in the other direction.

Soon they entered the crevice deep in the cliff, which turned into a pitch-black darkness. They went up quickly in the dark lane, and Ivan was able to breathe again, and the sea water had not filled the whole lane, just to the chest position.

Now the tide is rising, and a little longer, it will definitely be filled with sea water.

“Are you all right, Evan?” Sirius patted Ivan on the shoulder and said worried, "Don't push too hard, I saw you fall out of line later...”

“Me, I'm fine! ”

Ivan gasped, and Harry and Hermione rushed up because it was too cold, and all three of them were frozen and shaking in the waters of their chests.

Not far ahead, Dumbledore's wand is glowing bright golden at its end, and he's measuring around, with muddy rock walls just three feet wide apart on each side of the tunnel, sparkling wet light like tar.

Dumbledore didn't say anything, just waved and showed them to keep up.

A little further inside, the turn-off started, Cliche wasn't here, they didn't know which way to go, but Dumbledore didn't hesitate to turn left.

They continued to follow Dumbledore, and the temperatures in the cave were much lower than outside, because without the sun, the sea was colder, and their numb fingers rubbed over rough, damp rocks and swayed forward in the sea water.

At the end of the secret passage, Dumbledore had risen from the water, with silver-white hair and black robes gleaming with water.

They swim there, and they find a staircase leading to a big cave.

Ivan struggled to climb the steps and the water poured down from the wet clothes.

He finally walked out of the sea, the air around him was silent and cold, and he couldn't help but tremble.

He saw Cliché standing in the middle of the cave, talking to Dumbledore around him.

Dumbledore's wand was elevated in his hand, whispering and slowly circling in place, looking carefully at the rock walls and the top of the cave.

“Undoubtedly, this is the place.” Dumbledore said briefly, "These walls have been enchanted and are the marks of Riddle...”

Evan sees Dumbledore continue to spin slowly in place, obviously focusing on something he can't see and studying the traces left by Voldemort.

“Exactly, Cliché! I know it's just the front hall. It's the entrance hall!” Dumbledore whispered, "We need to get inside… now what's blocking us is the organ under Voldemort cloth, not the obstacle set by nature…"

Dumbledore approached the wall of the hole and gently stroked it with his fingers.

The wand in his hand swayed slightly, whispering in his mouth a strange language that Ivan had never passed, seemingly a spell, and seemingly not.

Because nothing happened, Dumbledore walked around the cave two times from the left, touching the rough cave walls as much as possible while walking, occasionally stopping to stroll up and down somewhere with his fingers.

“Professor, professor? ”

Evan took a few steps forward, Dumbledore was recognizing the magical traces left by Voldemort, and he was curious to know how Dumbledore had done it. He had never seen a wizard solve the problem before today: only with his eyes, with his hands, with his heart.

Instead of making ping-pong and smoke with spells like other common low-level wizards.

Ivan wanted to learn from Dumbledore how to distinguish the magic marks left on an object, but then he realized he didn't have the energy to do these things right now.

He was shaking because the cold invaded the bone marrow.

Little Sirius, Harry, Hermione beside him didn't get anywhere, and they were trembling uncontrollably from top to bottom.

Ivan saw Sirius pull the wand out and tried to warm them up with magic, but it didn't work because it was cold and his teeth were fighting in a raging battle, and his magic failed.

“Oh, sorry, I'm so sorry, I forgot!” Dumbledore noticed them, pointing to the four of them with his wand in turn.

As Dumbledore moves, Ivan feels dry and warm all over himself, and his clothes have no trace of being soaked by sea water, as if they had been baked in front of a bear's stove fire.

“Thank you,” Ivan, Harry and Hermione said in a hurry, thanking them for seeing Dumbledore turn his attention to the solid wall.

He didn't try any other magic, he just stood there and stared at the hole wall, like it said something very interesting.

“Where's Regulus?” Sirius suddenly shouted, "Cleecher, tell us how to get in? ”

His tone was impatient, they had wasted too much time, and the dark, weird cave in front of him made him lose his mind.

It's not something he's good at, he'd rather fight a vagina war than stay here...
