Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 253 College Warfare

Of Hogwarts' four colleges, Ravenclaw and Hecky Patch belong to a relatively gentle middle class, while Griffindor and Slytherin are at two extremes, respectively, a hostile and competitive relationship with each other.

However, such hostility and competition are within the limits permitted by school rules.

In Fred and George's words, everyone knows where the bottom line is. People may occasionally cross one or two of those toes, but they will be retrieved immediately before causing a great deal of trouble, otherwise they will be punished severely by school rules.

But this afternoon, the atmosphere in the auditorium is very strange.

Evan acutely felt that something seemed to have happened between Gryffindor and Slytherin.

Both sides swept across the crossbow, tensioning to the extreme, something that had never happened before.

He and Colin and Ginny just walked in and saw a couple of Slytherin college students headed by Malfoy staring at them unwillingly.

Harry and Ron rushed up and greeted them to Gryffindor's long table.

Seeing as they were cautious and alert to each other, Evan suspected that if there were no professors sitting on the teacher's bench, they would have fought immediately.

“What's the matter with this?” Ivan sat next to Hermione.

“The school was everywhere and Sirius and Snape fought a duel.” Hermione whispered that the voice was full of worry.

“Duel?!” Ivan stunned for a moment, "we saw yesterday in front of the school...”

“Not that time, it happened this morning when the two of them fought in the faculty lounge and several passing Hecky Patch students witnessed the whole duel!” Hermione said, "It was a big move until Dumbledore showed up, and the two of us stopped. ”

Evan suddenly, no wonder he didn't see Sirius and Snape in the auditorium this morning. He thought they'd all finished their breakfast early. Who would have thought they were fighting upstairs?! No wonder Snape was so unusual this morning and had such a bad attitude towards everyone.

“Sirius was so impulsive, he had already fought Snape twice just the first day of school..." Hermione said disturbingly.

Not surprisingly, Sirius and Snape's duel, anyway, is bound to happen, but I just didn't expect it to happen so soon.

If you don't tell the difference between winning and losing, the two of them will definitely continue to fight.

“Now that the duel has taken place, what is the outcome? ”

“I don't know, they haven't split up yet, so Dumbledore split them up!” Hermione continued, "But after class, Sirius told us that he could beat Snape with just a few more minutes. ”

In Ivan's view, the phrase should be Sirius' strength should be stronger than that of Snape if he were to speak up for himself.

More than a decade ago, they may have been equally powerful. Sirius, after 13 years in Azkaban, has regressed in magic and combat skills. Snape has made great strides over the past decade.

Sirius is likely to lose to Snape if he continues to fight.

But in Sirius' style of battle, Snape will surely pay a considerable price even if he wins the duel in the end.

In sum, if other external forces and environmental impacts are not taken into account, the outcome of the duel between the two sides should be both defeats and losses.

“Well, Sirius and Snape got into a fight, and what about Malfoy and the Slytherin students?” Ivan asks curiously, "Look at them, one can't help but eat us! ”

“Why don't you get it, Evan!” Harry came together, "since Sirius and Snape are facing each other, we must support Sirius. ”

“Support Sirius?!” Ivan is even more confused.

“That's right, we're all set, ready to fight with Slytherin, split the wins and losses, and we're looking for people. Looking at Malfoy and Slytherin, they must have thought the same thing, all in favor of Snape. ”

The idea of face-to-face confrontation between the colleges, separating victories and losses, is really naive enough.

Ivan knew that Dumbledore would never let that happen, and he would definitely restrain Sirius and Snape to prevent things from getting any worse.

“You feel ridiculous too, don't you?” Hermione asked, and after seeing Ivan nodded, she went on to say, "But Harry and Ron all thought so, how could I persuade both of them not to listen? ”

“It's not our idea, Hermione, that after knowing about it, a lot of Griffindors are ready to fight Slytherin, and people have long wanted to do it. Ron said innocently," Not to mention Sirius took the lead this time. ”

“This is just a private plan for you, Sirius would not agree with this crazy idea.” Hermione said with concern, "You forgot, this happened once last year, Professor McGonagall was mad at the time, and she said that if anyone dares to do this again, he will be fired. ”

“You mean the Mixed Battle at Quidditch Field.” Harry recalls, "Fred and George threw a lot of big shit eggs and Malfoy was the focus of attention. ”

“He deserved it, who told him to say that to Hermione!” Ron added that he looked at Hermione and quickly shifted his eyes.

“But none of us ended up taking advantage, and we all ended up being punished.” Hermione tried to pull the topic center back to what she was going to say, "This time...”

“Come on, Hermione, helping Rohit get back to you is no punishment. I heard Harry say you and Ivan weren't going.” Ron waved, "I wiped the trophy overnight under Philch's watch and threw up snotlouts for over two weeks. ”

“So you shouldn't...”

“This is different, Hermione!” Harry lowered his voice and said, "Malfoy is obviously ready to attack, Sirius and Snape's duel is only a fuse, and he must be using this as a pretext to plan something, and we must defend ourselves. ”

“If that's the case, we should tell the professor.” Hermione said uncertainly.

“Oh my God, do you want us to tell Professor McGonagall that Malfoy might be ready to attack us and hope the school provides protection?!” Ron waves his fork and refuses, "it's embarrassing, we'd be laughed at if we did. ”

“But...”

“Have you forgotten what happened this morning, Malfoy is provoking and we have to fight.” Harry said resolutely, "There's no other way out, Hermione! This is for Sirius and for ourselves. ”

The more Ivan listened, the more confused he felt about the conversation between the three of them.

He had no idea how Harry and Ron had raised the Sirius and Snape duel to a war between the two colleges, and what else should have happened in the middle that he didn't know. However, just from the analysis of the results, Malfoy does have the potential to plot something, and there is a good chance of exploiting it.

Necessary defense is really necessary, but would it be too minor to engage in direct large-scale mixed warfare?!
