Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 281: First Action

In this environment, the little wizards are all overwhelmed.

The siege of the Octavian spider has not only been about improving individual combat strength, enhancing experience and other personal honors, but has also risen to competition among colleges.

Nobody wants to lose, especially Gryffindor and Slytherin.

Under the leadership of professors from their respective colleges and other classes, they went outside the forbidden forest to fight the Octopus spider as planned.

Ivan remembers his first operation on the first Friday afternoon of February.

In that operation, Grade 2 and Grade 3 Gryffindor students were divided into groups, all excited to gather together and led by Sirius into a forbidden forest.

Contrary to the impatient little wizards, Ron seemed very nervous.

He hasn't recovered from terror yet, and the spider is what he fears most, not to mention the octave spider, which is a nightmare.

Just as nervous as Ron was Hermione, she wanted to learn more about fighting the Octopus spider from the book, but it was a waste of energy.

It's not something she saw in the book and remembered with all her heart, it's not something she hasn't tried.

On Friday, at breakfast, she began to mumble about Ivan's annoyance from books such as Where's the Wonder Creature, Common Fighting Skills, and 200 Common Ways to Deal with Dangerous Wonder Animals.

He wanted to persuade Hermione of peace of mind, but it didn't do much. Hermione looked at the magic books with agitation, and after discovering that she was sharing her experiences, Neville and Colin listened to every word she said.

They were eager to hear a useful piece of knowledge so as to help them not to be too busy in the upcoming battle.

You do know a lot from her, but the others were very happy when the Owl mailed interrupted Hermione's speech.

At 2 p.m. that afternoon, Ivan, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Colin, Ginny and other second- and third-grade Griffindor wizards left the castle, crossing the grounds in front of the oak gate and rushing into the forbidden forest.

It was a sunny, breezy day, with tall black trees in the forbidden woods and just emerged green buds swaying in the wind, loud and unexpected. Everyone stared closely at Sirius in front of the team and was both nervous and excited.

“I have led senior students in battle with the Octopus spider the other day.” Sirius lifted his wand and said aloud, "Remember, this creature is dangerous, they are extremely aggressive and we must be vigilant! ”

“I knew it!” Ron's face whispered in a pale whisper, "Asking us to fight the octave spider, those crazy horseman..."

“But you don't have to worry too much, the octopus spider is not very large outside the forbidden forest, nor is it very large in size.” Sirius' wand emitted a white light at its end, waving the wand and continuing, "As long as you obey my command, nothing will happen. ”

“What should we do, Professor Black?” Neville asked shakingly.

“It's easy to find a single octagonal spider, and I'm going to show you a few magic spells that are very useful for them. Sirius said," Then you'll be divided into different groups, fighting the eight eyed giant spiders you meet in the nearby woods. Remember not to act alone, or go too far into the forbidden forest. I will be there for the first time in case of an accident that can signal the sky with a wand. ”

“It does sound simple...”

“Be careful! Hermione said sharply," According to the book Where the Wonderful Creatures Are, octave giant spiders are good at lurking and they quietly hide in the shadows of trees, attack passing prey, or suddenly jump out while you're not paying attention. ”

When you hear her, you rush away from the tall trunk around you.

The little wizards squeeze into the narrow bushes, stick together and stand guard against each other.

They held the wand, raised their heads and looked suspiciously at the treetops surrounding them, as if an eight-eyed giant spider were about to attack.

Neville tripped over the vine because he didn't pay attention to his feet.

Suddenly, accidents plunged everyone into unidentified panic, and the atmosphere became increasingly tense.

Seeing Hermione wanted to go on, Ivan rushed over and whispered, "Don't be so nervous, Hermione! As long as I'm here, you won't be in danger! ”

“I'm not nervous, I'm just not ready..." Hermione whispered, feeling Ivan's aura and caring tone, her face slightly red

“These monsters are dangerous and no one can guarantee that they will be ready.” Ron glanced at Ivan and Hermione and went on to say, "Be careful. There will never be any mistakes, who knows if these monsters will...”

“You should be braver, just think of them as ordinary spiders.” Harry pointed to Ginny not far away, “look at Ginny, she's not as nervous as you are. ”

Instead of looking around like everyone else, Ginny pulled Colin and asked Sirius at the front of the team for some details about the Octave Battle.

“She used to have a lot of nerve!” Ron's eyes shifted away from Ginny's, looked at Ivan and Hermione again, and then looked at the tall trees around him with uneasiness and whispered, “I've never seen anything scared of her. ”

A few minutes later, after a brief chaos, everyone calmed down.

They followed Sirius deeper into the woods, about five minutes away, and met a single octopus behind a large, leafy tree.

It has just stepped out of the nest * * and is ready to look for prey in the nearby woods.

After seeing Sirius and the huge group of little wizards behind him, the eight-eyed giant spider was obviously stunned and turned quickly to try to escape.

Sirius, however, did not give it the opportunity to petrify it directly with a petrochemical spell.

He then took this octavean spider as an example to give little wizards a detailed account of the vulnerabilities of each of these creatures and to introduce a few very practical spells.

Sirius removed the magic from this octopus spider after the explanation.

Under his care, the little wizards took turns up front. You take turns trying to overcome the fear of this creature by using the spell you've just learned about this octopus spider.

Under attack, the octacular giant spider was scarred, making a high-density clicking, clicking, scalping noise, his body trembling constantly, trying to escape.

But it's a waste of effort, and every time it reveals its intent to escape, the end of Sirius' wand shines a red light, forcing it back into the center.
