Chapter 286: Hermione's Divination Lesson

“I can't believe I missed this lesson on happy spells!” Hermione said annoyingly, "I bet there will be one in the exam, Professor Flitwick just hinted it was possible! ”

“I can help you practice this spell if you need it.” Ivan hastily said.

“Thank you, Evan!” Hermione put her bag on her shoulder and sighed a long time, looking very depressed, "you have helped me a lot, without you, I really don't know what to do. I'd love to practice this spell, but I don't have time. I can't imagine wasting all afternoon in divination class staring at a crystal ball..."

A week ago, third grade divination classes had begun to learn crystal ball divination.

Evan is very understanding of Hermione's current mood, and for most wizards without a divination gift, it is simply impossible to see anything from the crystal ball.

As Hermione said, they are simply wasting time there.

You know, divinatory talent is extremely rare and attaches great importance to descent and inheritance.

Simply put, if no prophet has ever appeared in your ancestors, you will not get anything useful through divination.

At the very least, none of the little wizards Ivan knew possessed that talent.

Given Hermione's current course pressure, if she chooses to abandon divination classes, Ivan will definitely raise his hands in favour. He comforted each other a few more words, and a few minutes later Hermione went to divination class, and it seemed that she was about to climb to the limit.

In her present consciousness, Professor Trelawny is a liar.

And it was totally intolerable that she had to listen to Professor Trelawny's nonsense all afternoon under time constraints.

So, Ivan wasn't surprised to hear about the other third grade Gryffindor students leaving divination class halfway through Hermione at dinner.

“As usual, Professor Trelawny prophesied that Harry would be unknown!” Ron gave himself a big spoonful of mashed potatoes and, by the way, explained the whole thing to the others, he wrinkled his nose and exaggerated, “Hermione suddenly interrupted her, Professor Trelawny said that Hermione did not possess the qualities required by the noble art of divination, she said that no student had ever encountered such a worldly mind, do you know how Hermione did it? ”

1st and 2nd grade students shook their heads and their faces filled with curiosity.

“She silenced for two or three seconds, then suddenly stood up.” Ron tried to learn Hermione's tone, "she said directly to Professor Trelawney," I give up, I go! She then left the divination classroom in the surprise of the class. It's brave, isn't it? I was frightened by her, I dare say Professor Trelawney must have been frightened, she stood there holding her cape tight, breathing heavily, like... "

“Come on, Ron! Professor Trelawny predicted this long ago, she foresaw her departure, remember our first lesson?!” Lavender sits across from the long table interrupting Rohn, “one of us will leave us forever before and after Easter. She's already told you about this, hasn't she? ”

“In a way, she does know everything.” Ron waved and was very unhappy with Lavender interrupting himself, adding with disdain, "As long as it was about unfortunate things...”

“Isn't that what the charm of divination is, prophesying danger to the future and avoiding it?!” Lavender whispered, trying to convince Ron.

The two of them went on to discuss the subject, and Ivan asked Harry next to him about Hermione's whereabouts.

“I don't know, she probably went back to the public lounge first. This must have been a huge blow to Hermione by leaving the classroom directly.” Harry was disturbed to say, "We'd better go find Hermione, I bet she's very upset right now...”

Harry stopped before he finished his words.

Hermione was walking into the auditorium from the outside, and she didn't look sad at all, but was very happy. Her face was filled with a smile and she sat smiling in the position that Ivan and Harry had freed for her.

Because of what happened in divination classes, almost half of the students at the table turned their heads and looked at her in the hope of knowing what happened after the incident.

“Are you all right, Hermione?” Ivan probed.

“I'm fine, Evan!” Hermione looks happy, "I've never been better since the beginning of the semester. Think about it, I can finally get rid of Professor Trelawny and meaningless divination classes and devote my precious time to other things. ”

“But you left the classroom straight away, something like this has never happened before!” Ron's attention shifted from Lavender to Hermione, and he asked curiously, "I mean, what would Professor McGonagall say if you gave up your divination class...”

“Thank you for your concern, I just got back from Professor McGonagall.” Hermione took out her curriculum and removed the divination classes with her wand, easily answering, "She very much supported my decision, starting today, I don't have to waste any more time in divination classes. If you want to give up, you can always say it without worrying about what Professor McGonagall will say...”

“That's because of you!” Ron whispered, “If I gave up my divination class like you did, Professor McGonagall would criticize me so hard, let me go and apologize to Professor Trelawney, and then write to my mother about it..."

Without divination classes, Hermione can be more or less relaxed.

Although she doesn't take divination classes anymore and takes more classes than anyone else, she is in a very good state of mind.

Compared to before, she is laughing all day, full of motivation, and sees no pressure on her from her studies.

Learning is a happy thing for Hermione. Others, however, are less optimistic, and this Easter vacation is not really relaxing, as school year exams are approaching and second-year homework is increasing.

In Colin's words, he has never seen so many assignments.

In fact, not only in second grade, little wizards across the school are now spending almost all their time studying and spending more and more time in public lounges and libraries. Vulnerable, almost endless jobs like Neville are tormenting nervous breakdowns, and he's not the only one.

At noon on the last day of Easter vacation, Ivan had just walked into the Gryffindor Public Lounge and heard Simofinigan yelling in the corner.

“It's also called a holiday!” He threw several magic books on the ground so hard, "the exam is still far away, what are they playing with! ”
