Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 294 Buckbeak and Flight

Harry and the rest of the team were raised on their shoulders at Quidditch Field.

Everyone took them to the podium, outside the crowd, Hagrid waved the giant red orange blossom that Ivant had prepared for him, shouting, "You beat them, Harry, you beat them! Wait, I'm gonna tell Buckbeak about this! ”

Next to him was Percy, excited, jumping up and down like a lunatic.

Because it was so exciting, people even forgot their dignity.

Professor McGonagall cried more than everyone else, compared to Sirius, who was sneaking tears, and she was wiping tears with a giant Gryffindor flag.

Dumbledore, who had never appeared before, did not know when he was coming to Quidditch, smiling and holding that huge Quidditch trophy in his hand.

Wood took the trophy sobbing and lifted it high and passed it on to Harry.

The trophy is passed between each team member, followed by all Gryffindor students.

Colin held the camera next to him and frantically pressed the shutter, and when the trophy reached him, he was so excited that he almost fainted. He asked someone else to take a picture of him, not alone, but to ask Ivan to stand with him.

According to Colin, after hearing the stories he told, Ivan has become his brother's new idol and this photo will be sent directly to each other as a gift.

After that, Ivan also asked Colin to photograph him and Harry, Ron and Hermione.

Although he doesn't really care about these things, Colin just reminded him that these pictures can be a gift.

Evan has lost a lot of admirers since he grabbed Peter the dwarf alone and the experience of saving Sirius was published in The Prophet's Daily, the vast majority of whom are little wizards like Brother Colin who are not yet of school age.

A lot of people started writing to him regularly and mailing him cards on Christmas Day. Most of them, however, are instantly fresh, and children are the most forgetful. A few months later, in the absence of any reply from Ivan, they gradually stopped sending him letters.

The only exception was a 10-year-old girl from France, named Gabriel de la Cour, who wrote to Evan twice a week, with or without a reply. In addition to the three very full pieces of paper she wrote, it also came with her drawings, photographs, and a few small gifts for Ivan, whose perseverance made Ivan sweaty.

So Ivan thought of Gabriel when Colin said he was giving the photo to his brother as a gift.

Although today's game had nothing to do with him, he promised to introduce his friends to her.

The grand carnival to celebrate Gryffindor's victory over the Quidditch trophy has been going on for a long time, with many Ravenclaw and Hedgepach students joining in in the Gryffindor Public Lounge, in addition to Professor McGrath, Sirius and Hagrid.

Ivan saw Cedric, saw Autumn, but not Luna.

According to others, she did not even go to the game, but rather sought out non-existent harassing hooligans in the castle.

Ivan remembers that this morning Luna invited herself to accompany her in the search for a harassing gangster, and although he wasn't interested in it, it was a good excuse.

He didn't spend much time at the party and took the opportunity to find Luna to leave the public lounge. Ivan walked straight to the field outside the castle, he had just checked like Hagrid, and Buckbeak was chained outside the cabin.

Ivan wasn't going to go too far, he was just going to give it a try today to see if riding Buckbeak into Octavian spider territory was feasible.

If feasible, he would need to develop a detailed plan. At least tell Sirius about it and ask for his help.

There is little time until the end of the semester and the time is already very tight. According to the normal trajectory, Voldemort will recover strength and return at this time next year. Although the plot has been changed by Ivan, no one can say what will happen.

Without the help of Peter the dwarf, Voldemort would never have done anything honestly in the shadow of the Albanian forest, and Professor Trelawny's new prophecy was very worrying...

With that in mind, Ivan had to speed up.

He thought, walking fast to Hagrid's cabin.

Buckbeak was chained behind a fruit tree in a pumpkin field, with huge wings folded tightly beside his body.

As Ivan approached, he was enjoying a plate of dead ferrets in front of him, his favorite food.

When he heard footsteps, Buckbeak raised his head and his fierce orange yellow eyes stared at Ivan.

After finding out who he was familiar with, he redirected his attention to the food in front of him, tapping, tapping, throwing up several ferret bones on the ground.

Ivan walked into Buckbeak and untied it. Although he had never ridden a hippocampus before, he knew exactly how to operate it, and he had heard Hagrid, Harry and Hermione say it countless times.

First, you have to look the monster in the eye and earn its trust.

The trick is not to blink frequently or close your eyes, otherwise the hippocampus will be suspicious and think you are not credible.

After gaining the most basic trust, it is paying tribute to each other.

The easiest way to do this is to bow, in Hagrid terms, and be polite. If the hippocampus also gives you a gift, you can touch and ride it.

It doesn't look too difficult, especially since Ivan and Buckbeak are already very familiar with it, making the whole process easier.

Ivan approached Buckbeak, staring at his scary orange eyes.

He stood up and gently shook his furry, big, pointed head, looking at Ivan curiously, not sure what he was going to do.

Evan bowed slightly, looking at Buckbeak, and after a few seconds of stalemate, suddenly bent down his scaly front knee, his body sinking and giving him a salute.

Ivan had a relaxed head and walked over and put one foot on Buckbeak's wing, climbed onto his back and sat behind his wing joint.

Due to the thick feathers, each area in front of Evan is covered with long, beautiful chestnut feathers that feel very warm and comfortable, like sitting on a soft sofa.

Buckbeak took over and looked back at Ivan in confusion.

“Listen, man!” Evan patted Buckbeak's head gently, "I'm going to the eight-eyed spider's land, deep in the forbidden forest, that huge recess without trees, you know what I'm saying? ”

Buckbeak was still looking at Evan, and then he swallowed a dead ferret, and when Evan thought he didn't understand what he meant, there was no sign that Buckbeak's twelve-foot-long wings were stretched out beside Evan, and he flew out in a bang.

Ivan grabbed his neck in time as he flew up.

He found himself getting farther and farther from the ground and quickly ascended over the field.

Cold air whizzed past and Hagrid's cabins and trees were getting smaller and smaller under Ivan's feet.
