Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 342: The Four Founding Fathers Left Testing Guesses

“What do we do now?” Ron hesitated to ask.

After seeing the dreadful, nightmarish statues in the room, Ron's deep feelings of insecurity grew stronger.

Reason tells him that going deeper will be a great deal of trouble waiting for him.

He wanted to leave, but couldn't resist the magic left by Gryffindor.

He looked at the tiny Sirius, looking at the arrogant Margaret, and finally at Ivan, who was standing beside him and wondering what he was thinking.

If we move forward together, there should be no danger.

Sirius and Ivan are here, don't worry if you run into anything.

“Sirius, we..." Harry said worried that he was also frightened by some horrible monster statues just inside the room.

“Let's go back!” Sirius said, staring hard at Margaret.

“Wait, Sirius!” Hermione suddenly interjected, "Why are we going back, no matter what the monsters in this room used to be, they are now just statues that cannot attack us at all. ”

“The last time I came here, I didn't see them, and the stone doors in these rooms were closed.” Sirius looks at Hermione and explains, "You know, from the outside, those things are obviously very evil and dangerous, beyond our capabilities, and I don't want you to take any chances. ”

“We don't have any losses now either.” Ivan went on to say, "I don't think it's an adventure, I think it's learning the truth about what happened. ”

“It's the horseman's own business, not ours.” Sirius frowned.

“It's not just the Horseman thing, Ferencher has just told us that the Moon, which represents the Horseman's cult, is intertwined with the Mars trajectory, which represents the Wizard War, and now it's one thing.” Ivan looked at Sirius and said, "You know exactly what I'm talking about. We all know Voldemort made the Horcrux. He's not dead. One day he'll come back, if he re-summons the demon...”

“It's none of our business, Dumbledore will take care of it.” Sirius replied harshly, "I just want to keep you safe now. ”

The atmosphere silenced for a moment and Ivan didn't know what to say.

“I know!”

Harry hesitated for a moment and hugged Sirius tightly in the past and said softly, "Sirius, you are the best godfather and the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. But I think Ivan's right, and now we should move on to the final test, get what's left of Gryffindor, and unlock all the secrets. ”

Sirius did not reply and looked silently at Harry.

“If my father were here, he wouldn't back down. ”

Looking back at each other, Harry said resolutely, "It's possible that Griffindor left that item for the same purpose, and he wants us to help the Horseman to test our courage and other qualities. You were here, too, trying to challenge the magic he left behind, and now we..."

Upon hearing Harry's words, Ivan fell into contemplation.

He suddenly thought that perhaps everything was, as Harry put it, a challenge left by the intent of the four Creators, not by chance.

A thousand years ago, after they had told the four giants about Hogwarts' status and Voldemort and the Horcrux, they were prepared, at Rowena Ravenclaw's suggestion, to leave behind a secret treasure to help protect Hogwarts from the invasion of the Dark Wizard.

But this is just one thing, not the whole reason they did it.

It is well known that since Hogwarts was founded, the four founders have been arguing over their own pedagogical philosophy and admission standards, and no one can convince each other.

They eventually reached a compromise and merged part of their thinking into the cap, hoping that it would carry on their respective ideas, no matter how long time went by.

The main reason for leaving a secret treasure behind and setting the test is to test whether future generations of students meet their requirements and inherit what they see as quality.

Perhaps that's it, and all these troubles were deliberately left behind by the four Creators.

However, with the magic power of the four giants, the eyesight and the average of the magic world a thousand years ago, today, a thousand years later, it was probably not too hard to test, and today it is all beyond the capabilities of today's little wizards.

Evan laughed so hard that he thought too easily about leaving the Four Giants behind.

As things stand, Slytherin's treasure keys relate to the vile Hailbo and the evil dark creatures he creates with countless human souls, while Griffindor's treasure keys relate to the horses and the evil gods they once served.

The test left by Ravenclaw and Hedgepatch cannot be inferred.

But it's not entirely unresolved, and all four giants should have left their hands behind. Just like Slytherin's powerful magic in underground ruins, with the right approach, it can inspire the post-mortem to survive and even enhance his magic at critical times.

Slytherin's condition is that the person entering the relic must carry one of the four items he left behind, a ring, a pendant box, a magic wand, a cane.

Only if this condition is met can the magic he left behind be activated.

A little wizard who wants to come to Slytherin's knowledge and be able to have what he left behind, if not his heir, will surely be a pureblood wizard.

It really fits Slytherin's style with blood and origins.

So what Gryffindor's magic in this temple would be, perhaps with unparalleled courage, would solve all the difficulties.

“Let's move on, it's a magical object and a test left by Gryffindor himself, and all four of you are entitled to try it. ”

Sirius said slowly, "You're right, Harry! I was just thinking about your safety, but I ignored your feelings, and if James were here, he wouldn't back down. ”

After he finished, he also hugged Harry tightly and his face was full of comfort.

The team continues to move forward, hovering up around the empty passage.

The unexpected interlude made the atmosphere visibly tense, everyone was vigilant, no one spoke, only the sound of footsteps echoed in ancient temples.

“Sirius, before you came in, you warned us to be careful that some Horseman customs are very evil and dangerous.” Hermione couldn't help but ask, "but you just said you'd never seen the statues before, so what's the danger? ”

“You'll soon know the answer!” Sirius said, pointing to Margaret, who has stopped, "Be ready, we are about to reach our destination. ”
