Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 504: The New Year

“Well done, Evan!” Professor McGonagall rushed out of the auditorium in a hurry, the ground was too wet, she slipped under her feet, she grabbed a student so she didn't fall down, she fixed the top hat of her head and said harshly to the crowd of soaked chickens, “I'll take care of the rest, you guys hurry into the auditorium, hurry up! ”

As the crowd flowed, Ivan, Harry, Ron and Hermione slipped through the hall one by one, passing through two opposing doors on the right.

Ron whispered furiously, pulling his wet hair away from his face.

The auditorium was still such a splendor that it was extraordinarily decorated for the New Studies banquet.

Hundreds of candles float above the table, gleaming with golden plates and tall cups.

Four long college tables have been filled with chirping students.

There is also a fifth table at the top of the auditorium, where the instructors sit one by one, facing their students.

Ivan, Harry, Ron, and Hermione walked in front of students at Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hecky Patch, and then sat at the table at the end of the auditorium with other Gryffindor students.

They're next to Gryffindor's Ghost, Nearly Headless Nick.

Nick's body is translucent and pearl white.

Tonight, he wore his usual tight top, but he wore an extra large, round collar. He wore this wrinkle for a dual purpose, first to look more festive, and second to make sure his head wasn't shaking too hard on half of his neck.

“Good evening.” He smiled and said to them, "How was your summer vacation?! ”

“Not bad!” Ivan replied, knocking gently on his school uniform robe with his wand.

The moisture on it volatilizes instantly, and the clothes get dry again.

“I've seen Hogwarts Magic recently, and you've done a great thing, Evan! Nick said proudly," How many ghosts are asking me about you, and they know that I have the best relationship with you. ”

In Hogwarts Magic, Ivan needs Nick's help with a lot of things.

News sources provided by ghosts from all over the UK have now become the biggest feature of the newspaper and are very popular.

Ivan and Nick also had plenty of contacts, and of all the little wizards at school, they had the best relationship.

They just said a few words, and Colin dragged a wet robe into between them.

“Evan, you came in first. It's raining so hard out there!” Colin took off his shoes and poured out the water inside, "I stood in the hall for a while and wanted to see my brother cross the lake, but I couldn't see anything black. ”

His brother, Dennis Creevey, was on the train, and Ivan had already met him.

The little guy has grey brown hair, looks smaller than Colin, but more energetic.

Obviously Colin has already told him a lot about Hogwarts and has greatly praised Ivan before him.

When the little guy saw Ivan, he was so excited, he could barely breathe, he said a lot about him in a row.

That was a duplicate of what Colin saw when he saw Harry.

“I wish they'd hurry up and go to the hospital. I can't wait!” Colin said he jumped on the chair, "I wish he was in Gryffindor! Evan, can you pray for him with me? Harry, you too, okay? ”

“No problem!” Ivan nodded.

Harry also said yes, and the conversation turned to whether the siblings were all in the same college.

In the case of the Wesleyans, it is true that all seven of their children were divided into Gryffindor College.

But not necessarily, Hermione gave the example of Parvati Petyr.

Her twin sister is in Ravenclaw, and they look exactly the same.

Even in terms of character, it doesn't make any difference.

And Sirius, the Black family tradition is Slytherin, and only he is divided into Griffindor.

This makes Colin nervous and keeps his hands together for 10 prayers to get Dennis to Gryffindor.

Ivan's gaze shifted to the centre of the auditorium, and since his admission to school, he has not watched the ceremony live, due to many accidental factors, and does not look like he will miss it this year.

There are more empty seats in front of the teaching table than usual.

Hagrid was crossing the lake with the freshmen of the first grade, and Professor McGonagall was in the foyer to dry the ground to prevent the Pippy Ghost from coming out and messing around, and Professor Snape was not there, only Dumbledore sat there as usual.

As before, Dumbledore's floating silver-white hair and beard sparkle under candlelight, embroidering many stars and moons on a sumptuous dark green robe. His two long hands touched each other's fingertips, his chin resting on his fingertips, his eyes looking through a half-moon lens at the ceiling, as if caught in contemplation.

For a long time, it seemed to have felt Ivan's gaze, and he lowered his head and smiled at him, blinking blue eyes.

Next to Dumbledore, Professor Flivey sits on a pile of cushions and drinks a red drink.

Next to her is Professor Sprout, a herbal class teacher, who wears a hat with long gray hair that wants her to float, talking to Professor Sinista of the Astronomical Department.

After a while, when the party was about to begin, Snape appeared.

His face was grey, hawk nose, greasy hair, and he walked into the lobby in a dark robe, his footsteps slightly silent.

Snape seemed to have an invisible aura, and as he passed, all the little wizards shut their mouths unconsciously.

His disgusting cold eyes briefly stopped on Ivan and Harry, then quickly moved away.

“Look at the teacher's table. There's still a spot in there!” Harry said, following Snape's footsteps to the classroom table, "is the new teacher of Defense Against the Dark Arts, how come he hasn't come yet and doesn't know who it could be? ”

None of the Defense Against the Dark Arts teachers could stay for more than a year, and that position was cursed.

Evan knows that this year's Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher is MadEye Moody.

Precisely a fake Moody, faked by little Buddy Crouch.

He doesn't know what he's doing until now.

“I don't know who, but I hope so soon, I'm starving!” Ron said.

His voice had just fallen and the hall door opened and everyone quieted down immediately.

Professor McGonagall led a long line of first-year freshmen to the top of the auditorium, where everyone looked.

If Ivan, Harry, Ron and Hermione were soaked before, compared to these freshmen in the first grade, it would be nothing.

Looking at them, it's like they're not on a ferry boat, they're swimming from the lake.

They stood in a row along the teaching table, stopping and facing the whole school.

Because they were cold and nervous, they trembled, with the exception of the youngest boy.

He's Colin's younger brother Dennis, the little guy with Hagrid's mole skin coat.

This coat was too big for him and he looked like he was covered under a black circus fur tent.

His little face came out of the collar and his expression was so exciting.

As he stood in line with his fearful companions, his eyes met Colin and Ivan.

He lifted his thumbs and said in a mouth shape, "I fell into the lake! ”

Look at that. He's upset about this.
