Chapter 517: Openness (Subscription Request)

After class, Ivan and Colin went to the auditorium to prepare for lunch.

Ivan has made up his mind to talk to the impersonating Moody's Keresis.

After what happened this morning, he could no longer fit in front of Ivan.

The next day, there was this big movement, and I have to say, this guy is a real failure camouflage.

They just arrived on the third floor and saw Moody come out of the classroom limping.

Ivan asked Colin to go first, and he turned to Moody's to welcome him up.

“Hello, Professor. Do you have a minute?” Ivan said with a slight smile, "I want to talk to you about what just happened. ”

Moody turned around, her long white hair drooling along that twisted, scarred face, her normal eyes looking cold at Ivan, and that magical eye turning behind her head, watching closely the little wizards walking down the stairs.

Everyone looked at it curiously and wondered what Ivan was saying to Moody.

“Of course, if you don't have time, I can ask Professor Dumbledore about this.” Ivan continues, "A wizard as powerful as him must have great experience in dealing with vampires...”

“Come in!” Moody said in a dull voice with a gloomy expression on her face.

Ivan followed Moody into the office, both went in, and Moody shut the door.

He turned to look at Evan, the magic eye and the normal eye both staring at Evan.

“What are you trying to say?” He asked softly.

“It's just a random chat, like the horrible monster I just saw in your memory, like why you're here, whatever you say.” Evan put his hands behind his back, "but before you do, Professor, I hope you'd better get your hands off the wand, you know that won't work. You've just tested it, and the soul-snatching spell doesn't work on me. ”

“That's hard to say!” Moody stares closely at Ivan, "we can try forgetting the spell or other magic...”

“Of course, vampires have a lot of special magic, and it's very effective, but it's just too obvious that Dumbledore can sense your magic fluctuations.” Evan looked at him with interest, "and you didn't want the headmaster to find out, did you? ”

Moody didn't answer, but her right hand wasn't removed from the wand between her waists.

“I think I'm not going directly to the principal's office, I'm coming to you, and I can already show my sincerity.” Ivan said, "I appreciate your help in the ruins of the Armenian Fallen Horseman a few months ago. And Elaine and I have a good relationship, and from that point of view, you're supposed to be my elder, and you've said that before. Unless you intend to follow Voldemort in a desperate fashion, cooperation is the wisest option for me. ”

“I don't understand what you're talking about.” Moody said, but let go of the wand in his right hand.

“It's so pointless to go on like this. I recognize your magic, Calesis!” Ivan was polite enough to say, turning around, “You turned into a mad-eyed Hammaudi with compound soup, which is a practical potion that works even under the protection of the castle's many ancient magics. The only inconvenience is probably the need to bring Moody with you at all times to get the material from him to deform. Let me see. Where are you hiding him? ”

While the first three owners of this office were here, Ivan came here many times.

In those days, the walls were filled with pictures of Professor Lockhart himself smiling and blinking.

While Lupin was here, he often encountered some amazing and fresh dark magic creatures that he had brought in for them to learn in the classroom.

As for Sirius, he maintains the style of Lupin, but is more messy and ready to discover interesting little things.

Now, there's a bunch of weird things in this office.

It was all used by Moody's when he was in Aurora, and Keresis inexplicably moved them here.

On the desk, there's something like a cracked glass giant gyro, which is a speculum.

On the corner of a small table, there is a strange thing.

It looks a bit like a golden TV antenna, but it is particularly distorted and keeps making a gentle buzz.

There was a mirror-like thing hanging on the wall opposite Ivan, but it didn't show the scene in the room.

There are many dark shadows swinging around, but they are all blurred and inaccurate.

“Looks like you broke everything!” Whether it's this speculum, that detector, or this mirror on the wall, they're all very useful magical objects that clearly detect the dangers around them, "Evan said softly. Not surprisingly, they should be you and you always react if you keep their owner, Moody, locked in this box. ”

Beneath the window is a large box with seven keyholes in rows.

“I hate these things, they're so sensitive!” Moody replied gently.

More precisely, Keresis.

Despite his appearance, Moody's has returned to his usual tone and manner of speech and is no longer disguised.

“Evan, you really surprised me that at the last World Cup, I thought you and that girl were dead, not expecting you to use the power of magic stones.” He took out his cup and poured two bottles of hot tea, “this time too, finding out who I am so quickly. I was so careless, I should have thought that you wouldn't be so easily controlled by a soul-snatching spell. I thought I was a good camouflage and didn't even find Dumbledore. ”

“It's hard to say that the headmaster may have noticed, just didn't say it.” Ivan came down from the chair across the table and slowly said, "There's nothing to hide from him in Hogwarts. ”

“Cunning human wizard.” Keresis whispered and looked at Ivan with interest, "Now that you know who I am, what are you going to do? ”

“As I said, I want to work with you and, in a certain sense, our goals are the same. ”

“Is the goal the same?!” Keresis repeated, with a smile on his face, "I and my people have no reason to reject goodwill. ”

“Before we work together, there are a few questions that I would like you to answer. First of all, what kind of monster did I see in your memory, is that the dilemma you need to face?” Ivan said, "As I said before, I may be able to help you. You know, I met the conditions stated in that prophecy. ”
