Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 537 Upcoming Visitors

Ivan wasn't as accommodating as Keresis, and that quick run just drained most of his strength.

He slowly slipped off Buckbeak's back, feeling his knees trembling.

He is suffering from muscle soreness, even burning breath.

Buckbeak turned his head and his large amber eyes looked incomprehensibly at Ivan holding onto his body.

Ivan laughed bitterly and let Buckbeak go.

He slowly walked to Hagrid's cottage, and although fatigued, the adventure was more rewarding than he could have imagined.

After seeing that powerful magic, Ivan decided to change his research direction.

Focus on ancient magic and the magic recorded in the Book of Abraham, and figure out the magic theory involved as soon as possible.

Ivan sat at Hagrid's for over an hour drinking tea while discussing issues related to tail feeding.

He didn't know what the end of the spiral, the fire crab, and the last human lion's scorpion inside the ruins was, but in such a massive collapse, they should probably follow suit.

Hagrid would have cried again if he'd known about it.

It wasn't until almost 5: 00 that Ivan dragged his tired body back to the castle when the sunset slowly set.

He had just walked into the castle hall and saw a large group of students squeezing around a grand opening erected at the foot of a marble staircase.

“What happened?” Ivan asked, beside him is Ernie McMillan of Hefflepuff College.

He squeezed it out of the crowd, his eyes shining brightly.

“It's only been a week!” Ernie excitedly said.

“What's only been a week? ”

“Triple Tournament!” Ernie replied quickly, because of the excitement that everyone was shaking slightly, "the school just posted, representatives of Busbatton and Demstrang will arrive at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 30, and the afternoon session will end half an hour earlier, when students are asked to return their bags and textbooks to their dormitories, meet in front of the castle, greet our guests, and then attend a welcome party. ”

“Oh, Boosbaton and Durmstrang are coming?!” Evan, suddenly, counting the time is almost recent.

He had just received a letter from Gabriel informing Ivan that Boosbatons' students were ready to leave.

Not surprisingly, her sister, Furong, performed very well in the primary elections inside the school and was very well received by Mrs. Maxim, and Gabriel became the only junior Boothbaton student who had the opportunity to visit Hogwarts.

“Ivan, you're here, haven't seen you all day, what have you been doing?! ”

Harry, Ron, and Hermione were delighted to squeeze out of the crowd, and they had just finished reading the announcement.

“I went to ask Professor Moody about something on the course.” Ivan simply said.

“Okay, I'm going!” Ernie said, "I don't know if Cedric knows about this, I'm going to tell him...”

“Cedric?” After Ernie hurried away, Ron said somewhat vaguely.

“That's Diggory!” Harry said, "He's definitely ready for the tournament. ”

“I remember, that idiot, he wants to be Hogwarts' warrior too?” Ron frowned.

They pushed away the chirping crowd and walked towards the auditorium.

“He's not an idiot, you don't like him because he beat Gryffindor in the Quidditch game.” Hermione said, "I hear he's a great student, or is he a senior? ”

Listening to her tone, it seems that the superior himself explains everything.

“Oh yeah?!” Ron frowned as if he wanted to rebut Hermione.

Ultimately, however, nothing was said, and since the last incident, the two people have been cautious lately.

Over the next week, as Ivan focused on magic, there was a noticeable change in the castle.

Now, wherever you go, people seem to talk about just one topic: the Triwizard Tournament.

Rumors spread quickly among students, like highly contagious bacteria: who would compete to be Hogwarts' warrior, what the competition would be, how Boothbarton and Durmstrang's students differ from them, and so on.

Ivan is naturally a popular Hogwarts warrior, although he does not meet Dumbledore's seventeen-year-old standard.

But there are still many who think he will find a way to enter and become a warrior.

The rumor came to an end after a while of heating up.

Ivan did not intend to be a warrior in the tournament, and it came out of Gryffindor's little circle.

While feeling sorry for and happy for Ivan, the little wizards have chosen the strongest students in their hearts.

Most senior wizards over the age of seventeen seem to think they have the potential to become warriors.

The castle was thoroughly cleaned while everyone was talking about it.

Many of the dirty portraits have been washed, although those who have been washed are very dissatisfied with them.

They shrugged and sat like frames, mumbling depressedly.

Every time I touched the newly revealed pink tender flesh on my face, I grinned my teeth.

Armor on both sides of the corridor suddenly shines and no longer squeaks when moving.

The doorman, Agus Felch, stood guard at the entrance to the auditorium every day while he ate, and as soon as he saw a student forget to clean his shoes, he was furiously angry and scared two first-grade girls into committing hysteria.

Other faculty members also seem particularly nervous and strive to put everything in its best shape.

Until the morning of October 30, when everyone went downstairs for breakfast, the auditorium was renovated overnight.

Huge silk banners hang on the walls, each representing a Hogwarts Academy: the red bottom with a golden lion is Glenfendo, the blue bottom with a bronze eagle is Ravenclaw, the yellow bottom with a black badger is Hecky Patch and the green bottom with a silver python is Slytherin.

Behind the teacher's table, hang the biggest banner.

It has the Hogwarts crest: lions, eagles, badgers, snakes united, surrounded by a large letter H.

Ivan, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Colin and Ginny sat around at Griffindor's table.

Next to them, Fred and George were discussing what they were talking about in a low voice, avoiding the crowd unusually.

Rudo Bagman was hiding from them, and all the letters the twins had written to him some time earlier had been sent back untouched.

“It's not very pleasant, I admit.” George said to Fred frustrated, "But if he can't talk to us in person, we'll have to send him a letter, or put it directly in his hands, and he can't hide from us forever. ”

“Who's hiding from you?” Ron said curiously, walking over and sitting beside them.

“Nobody, I hope you can hide from us.” Fred said he seemed very unhappy to be disturbed.

“What's so unpleasant?” Ron asked George.

“'Cause there's a silly brother like you who minds his own business.” George replied.
