Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 599: Ice Sealed Tunnels

In the eyes of the fairies, the Elvishes are cowardly traitors and do not deserve forgiveness.

The brutality and misery of their lives are entirely their own fault.

In the eyes of human wizards, the elves are merely slaves and belong to the wizards' private property.

They have the right to dispose of their own homes to raise elves, even to kill them, without having to worry about their own thoughts.

After the fairy rebellion, the elves lived a very miserable, very dark life.

The only thing to be thankful for is that with the end of the era of pure blood glory and black magic, the status of the Elvish family has improved somewhat.

Although they remain the slaves of wizards, inhuman persecution rarely occurs.

However, in the light of the treatment Dobie had previously received at the Malfoy family home, they continued to be ill-treated.

Terribly enough, whether it's pureblood wizards or little elves at home who think these things are what they deserve.

Ivan hopes that Hermione's promotion of the rights of the Elvish family will change this, albeit minimally.

He quickly walked forward five minutes later and came to the end of the room.

There is no longer a Pokémon head on the wall in front, replacing it with a stone staircase that extends downward.

The end of the stone staircase is tightly closed by a thick iron door.

“What leads behind the door?” Ivan asked, looking closely around, something didn't feel right.

The whole room was empty at a glance, only this passage kept moving forward, but he always felt that things were not that simple.

“I don't know, Master Evan, Dobby's never been here!” Dobby replied, looking in awe at the pitch-black tunnel.

“We can check in later!” Eventon flashed a little light in his head, "Wait, since this freezer can keep this cold, there must be a magic working, but I don't feel magic here. ”

Conversely, the temperature in the vicinity of this tunnel appears to have risen.

Ivan closed his eyes and felt the magic change in the air, leading Dobby back.

He took a few steps and stopped in front of a row of shelves filled with crippled, persecuted households with elvish heads.

These elves' heads on the shelves are all more or less missing an organ or suffering some kind of damage, like Moody's face.

Beyond that, they exhibit a strange light blue color, which makes them look extraordinarily gloomy.

These have turned into dry corpses with their heads staring at scary bulbs, big eyes, staring hard at Ivan and Dobby.

Ivan didn't know what kind of abuse he had in front of them to make them look so horrible with this hateful look on their face.

Rather, this look should not appear on the inversely obedient creature of the Elvish.

Even if the masters killed them, I'm afraid they wouldn't show this look...

Dobby moaned and blindfolded himself again.

Ivan ignored it directly. When he just passed by, he thought it was because of a problem with the antiseptic formula that made the heads of the elves so weird. Now it doesn't seem like it at all. The magic around here is very intense, so what should it say?

He endured nausea, knocking the blue home on the shelf with his wand, one by one, to feed the elf's head.

“Master Evan!” Dobby looked at him worried, not knowing what he was doing.

When Ivan's wand fell over the head of the third missing elf on the left, the elf's closed eyes suddenly opened.

He looked at Evan as if he were going to eat Evan alive.

Evan subconsciously took a step back and saw three gloomy green magic fires appear in front of him.

The fire quickly poured over Ivan, and in Dobby's scream, Ivan rushed down and rubbed his head against the fire.

He cast a protective magic on himself with the quickest possible speed, leaving two flames crashing onto the shield, making a repressive sound.

A few seconds later, Ivan climbed up from the ground and looked at the shelf in front of him with a palpitation.

Didn't expect to encounter an attack, thank goodness I reacted quickly...

Looks like you can't take it lightly wherever you go.

He gave himself another protective magic and continued to try to crack the machine.

This time with good luck, when his wand landed on the head of a fourth home elf, the whole shelf suddenly shivered, sliding to the right to give way to a downward secret passage.

Dobby screamed again, surprised to see this suddenly appearing secret passage.

For Ivan, who has extensive experience in castle adventures, he is already familiar with this scenario.

In Hogwarts, secret passages may be hidden anywhere, not even in the bedroom or the principal's office.

“Let's go inside and take a look!” Ivan said.

He remained vigilant and augmented the light of the wand in his hand, pulling Dobby down the stairs and walking in.

The passage continues downwards, on both sides and on the ground stairs, paved with the distinctive large black rock of Castle Hogwarts, painted black, cold and icy, seemingly extraordinarily shady, to absorb all the light.

The lower the forward temperature, the longer Ivan finds out when he breathes, the whiter the fog will be.

The ground is slippery with a thin layer of ice on it.

With the fluorescence of the wand, Ivan can see that everything is a strange blue glow.

That's the color of frost. This is the world of ice.

He had the feeling that he was going into some isolated iceberg.

Low temperatures in the upper freezer are transmitted from here, and I don't know what's down there?!

“Young Master Ivan!” Dobby trembles and says, "Dobby feels cold and uncomfortable...”

Ivan bowed his head and saw that the Elvish was shaking at his feet and curling into a bunch.

He thought, gently pointing himself and Dobby's head with his wand, warm currents flowing in from where his wand touched, as if a stream of hot water was spinning in his body, dissipating the cold around him and warming himself and Dobby up.

With the cold being expelled together with anxiety and fear, it seems that this pitch-black freezer has ceased to be so horrible.

Dobby's face gradually stabilized, but Ivan raised his guard implicitly.

He can feel that strange magic that makes the surroundings cold and temperatures drop is gradually increasing.

He had to be careful in the face of this unknown environment, assuming that persecuted, hateful families were raising elves and that trap.
