Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 741: Devil Altar

“Out of the way!” Sirius waved his wand impatiently to disperse the ghost of the owl in front of him.

These guys don't have any aggressiveness, they just look at Evan in the shadows, and there's a glimmer of pain and hatred in their eyes.

If possible, they will pounce over like that ghost just now, tearing the three of them apart...

But they did nothing, and by the way, these ghosts were also a group of poor people, and they were just ordinary servants of the castle, most of them not even wizards, who had been poisoned to death by the witch alive, and their souls had been held here after their death.

Until now, they have been controlled by demons, unable to act according to their will and unable to attain rest.

Ivan can't help but think, the ghost couldn't even mention the demon's name, so who could it be?

Why can't they mention that name, what happened to the vows they made?

Also, what exactly does what it just said mean, is the devil watching them around?!

Things became more and more mysterious, the castle was filled with an evil atmosphere, and in the undisputed darkness, unknown forces gradually approached...

“We better get out of here!” Sirius says there is an increasing trend of owls around.

Evan woke up violently, and his magic disturbed the souls of the past, making them uneasy.

“Well, let's go and take a look in the dungeon.” He nodded.

Ivan didn't want to wait for all the owls in the castle to gather here, which was too bad.

Although they have little attack power, it is uncomfortable to think that they are actually human souls.

Through a tunnel full of spiderwebs, they find the entrance to the dungeon in the cellar on the innermost side of the kitchen.

To be honest, this is probably where the whole castle feels the most uncomfortable. The narrow arch is a rusty iron fence that falls on the ground. It seems to have been pushed hard and raw by some monster, distorted and deformed, with dark brown blood all over it.

Across the fence, Ivan walked into the hole, which was divided into a small room for prisoners.

But now, this is no longer a dungeon, but a huge family tomb.

They see a lot of coffins carved out of stone, scattered everywhere.

The pattern engraved on the coffin is simple and rough, indicating the low status of the bureaucrats.

They continued to move forward into a Quartet hall.

The surrounding walls are recessed inwards, carved out of space to place things, and placed on top of them are human skeletons, which are wrapped in some kind of rags, grass sheets and other things still there, the vast majority of which have corroded and weathered, or have been eaten clean and clean by mice, worms and other organisms, but there are still a few dry bodies.

In the light of the wand, Ivan saw a skull facing him with two pitch-black holes in his eyes.

In such a terrible atmosphere, even the air becomes thin and turbid.

“This was the dungeon of the fortress, where prisoners of war were held, but then many people died, all overnight, because there was no place to bury them, all of them were left here.” Elena said in a very low voice that she was afraid of disturbing something, "I hadn't come in before, but the people who came here didn't find anything, except the dead and the skeletons, this place had nothing. ”

“Where's the altar that woman said?” Sirius looked around.

“It may be hidden somewhere, but since it is the source of the curse, it cannot be so obvious.” Ivan said, "First look for something strange. I always have a bad feeling that someone is spying on us...”

He looked at the stone coffin in front of him, without a nameplate, and could not see who was buried in it.

Ever since he walked into the castle, Ivan felt like something was hiding in the dark and watching them, but he didn't find anything.

Apart from the three of them, there are clearly no other people around.

“Whatever. Better hurry up. Those damn owl ghosts are coming back!” Sirius looked back.

The three of them were checked separately, not too far away.

Each other is in a stone room, and if anything happens, just scream for immediate rescue.

A few minutes later, Ivan was next to a coffin, and he found a quadrangle of holes, vertically down, and only a very thick rope fell on top of it, and he protruded down the wand, chanting a spell, and the end of the wand emitted a luminous mass.

The light falls all the way down and stops for a long time, about 50 feet deep below...

What is this place for? Ivan is hesitating to go on.

This rope is obviously not what the castle was supposed to be, but it was only recently tied up, and it won't take long...

From the nearby tracks, it looks like something went down this rope just a little while ago!

As Ivan was about to call Sirius and Elena, he raised his head to see what was beside him.

It was a very small owl ghost with a translucent pale blue body, only the size of a palm, and it looked at him.

After seeing Ivan notice it, the owl spread its wings over his shoulder.

Then it flew down again, reaching into Evan's palm.

“Do you have something to tell me?” Ivan asks, this guy's watch reality is so weird!

The kitten owl nodded and answered Ivan's question.

It's not irrational, it's not hateful in the eyes, it's not affected by the devil.

“You wait a while, I draw that magic rune to help you restore your original form!” Ivan said happily.

He lifts his wand and feels like he will know something vital from the other person.

But instead of waiting for him, the owl opened its wings and flew far away, turning back and showing Ivan to follow.

It flew to the graveyard on the left, drilled onto a wall and disappeared into a recessed compartment.

“Is there anything in here?” Evan bends over and looks inside...

The next second, he saw a dry corpse staring at him with big, empty eyes, his mouth wide open, the expression on his face blurry and horrible.

Evan took a step back and saw the light blue owl protruding from under the corpse skirt, staring anxiously at him, as if urging Evan to move faster, a slowly extending inward passage below the dry corpse.

Ivan hesitated for a moment before climbing forward and walking through the body into a small, secret chamber.

At the center of the room, he saw at first sight an altar, the altar that summoned the demons, the root of all the sins in the ancient castle...
