Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 839: Percy the Betrayer

Upon receiving Lupin's letter, Ivan and Hermione returned to England on the third day of Harry's psychedelic attack.

Mr. Weasley and Professor Moody greeted them at the airport and travelled directly back to 12 Grimo Square.

This is now the headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix, a different scene than it was a month ago.

The Weasleys moved all the way from their humble homes, in addition to many members of the Order of the Phoenix.

From Fred, George, Ron and Ginny, Ivan and Hermione know that the last month has changed.

The situation in the magic world has not changed much compared to before they left, and Harry should have been the biggest event of late.

Public opinion was detrimental to them, as reported in the Daily Prophet.

The Ministry of Magic was doing its utmost to suppress Dumbledore, using various means, and he had now resigned from all posts except that of Headmaster Hogwarts.

Elsewhere, Sirius writes a letter from Norway every week, which, for security reasons, says nothing but informing peace and asking people to help take care of Harry, and nobody knows what he's doing there.

Lupin's communication with the werewolf doesn't know how far he's progressing, and he only comes back occasionally.

Each time, he seemed particularly tired, and Ivan and Hermione had not seen him for the last few days.

In fact, because they were not allowed to join the Order, Ron and the four of them didn't know much about it.

They were not allowed to attend meetings, Fred and George tried to eavesdrop and received very limited information.

They don't even know when to pick up Harry or keep him in the Dursley family.

From them, Ivan knew the biggest change was related to Percy.

When Hermione asked where Percy was going, Ivan remembered the reaction of several of Weasley's brothers and sisters.

They exchanged a deep, melancholy look, and Ron said nervously, "Don't you two ever mention Percy in front of Mom and Dad, and when Harry gets here, tell him not to do it. ”

“Why?” Hermione looked at him unknowingly.

Ron went up a lot this summer, making his clothes look smaller.

“Because every time Percy was mentioned, Dad smashed what he had in his hand and Mom cried out loud.” Fred said.

“It's horrible.” Ginny said sadly.

“Anyway, I think we finally got rid of him.” George said there was a strange look on his face that was hard to see.

“What the hell happened?” Hermione asked.

Ivan probably figured out what was going on, and Foggy must be taking the opportunity to pull Percy together, and the guy went down to the Magic Department without any hesitation.

“It was the first week after the semester, shortly after you two left.” Ron said, looking sophisticated at Evan and Hermione, the servants of the wind and dust, "we were about to join the phoenix club, and Percy went home and told us he had been promoted. ”

“How is this possible?” Hermione was surprised to say, "Aren't they investigating Percy? ”

Percy committed more serious misconduct in the case of Batty Crouch.

He did not find that his boss was under Voldemort control, which led to his first job in the Ministry of Magic being unsuccessful.

Normally, Percy's career in the Ministry of Magic is basically over and hastily over before it even starts.

In Egypt, Bill also told Ivan that Mrs. Weasley wanted him to find Percy a job inside Gurling's Palace.

Ivan also thought it would be impossible to get Percy to work for Hogwarts Magic.

Upon his return, he decided to fight back against the Magic News in public opinion.

“We were surprised, too.” George said, "because Percy got into a lot of trouble with Crouch and then investigated what it was. They said Percy should be aware of Crouch's mental disorders and report them to his superiors in a timely manner. But you know Percy. Crouch gave him one side, and he couldn't help it. ”

“Then why would they promote him? ”

“We're also confused about this.” Ron went on to say, "He came home feeling more proud than usual, imagine, and he told Dad that they had given him a position in Minister Fuji's office. For a man who had just graduated from Hogwarts for a year, it was a desperate messenger: Assistant Minister! I think he's probably expecting Dad to be happy. ”

“But Dad didn't. Fred said sadly," Foggy was furious at the ministry and forbade anyone from making any contact with Dumbledore, who, as you all know, has been discredited in the ministry these days. ”

“Yeah, they all think he spreads the mystery man back news intentionally to make an incident.” George followed.

“Dad said Fogey made it clear that no one who had anything to do with Dumbledore could stay in the ministry.” The problem, "Fred said," is that Fogey doubted Dad. He knew that Daddy had a good relationship with Dumbledore, that we were supporting Dumbledore, and that Fogey had always thought that Daddy was a little weird and obsessed with Muggles. ”

Hermione nodded and probably understood what was going on, sitting silently beside Evan.

“After Percy announced the news, Dad wondered that Foggy had placed Percy in his office in order to use him to spy on our house and even Dumbledore. ”

“Without surprise, Percy must be very reluctant to hear this.” Ivan said, clearly identifying Percy's character.

“Yes, after hearing Dad say all this, he was so mad, he said a lot of horrible things to Dad.” Ron paused for a moment and suddenly made an empty laugh, "hey, he said since he entered the ministry, he had had to struggle so hard to get rid of the bad reputation that Dad and our family had brought him, and he also said that Dad had no ambition at all, which kept us going cold. You know, I mean, we haven't had a lot of money. Actually, he's quite right about that...”

Ron couldn't go on because Ginny made an angry cat call.

“Percy is too much!” Hermione couldn't believe it, "he said! ”

“Then things got worse!” Fred went on to say, "He said that Daddy and Dumbledore were stupid enough to go home, and that Dumbledore was going to be in big trouble with his eyes, and Daddy was going to be in bad luck with him. ”

“Didn't he know Voldemort was back?” Ivan asked.

“Probably, but he doesn't care!” George said, in a derisive tone, "Clever Percy, he said, he knew who he should serve, and he was loyal to the Ministry of Magic. He also said that if Mom and Dad were to betray the Ministry, he would let everyone know that he no longer belonged to our family. He packed his bags that night and left. He lives here in London right now...”
