Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 987: Competition Begins

At the same time, Snape's bias is evident.

He's always prerented the stadium for the Slytherins, making it hard for the Gryffindors to find the field training.

He also ignored reports of several Slytherin students attempting to use magic pits in the corridors against Gryffindor players. When Alia Spinnett's eyebrows blocked her eyes and mouth and was taken to the school hospital, Snape must have bitten herself with a curse instead of listening to the testimony of 14 witnesses.

They clearly saw Slytherins goalie Miles Blackie behind-the-back magic in the library.

So much so that Dumbledore's first outside activity was to protect the Gryffindor Quidditches.

Gryffindor is getting better and better, and they haven't lost to Slytherins since Harry joined the team.

They are confident that they will win this upcoming competition.

The only change and weakness this semester may have been Ron, but he's made a lot more progress than before. In an unforgettable exercise, he hung himself on a broom and kicked the ghost flying ball from the side of the goal post so hard that it flew all the way to the other end of the field, passing through the circle in the middle of the other goal.

Everyone who sees this scene thinks that this saving ball is comparable to the one recently played by Ireland's world-class goalie Barry Ryan against Poland's best chaser, Radice Lozamoski, and is at a world-class level, Hogwarts' best saving ball in recent years, a classic dream move.

Even Fred said Ron might make him and George proud, and they were seriously considering admitting they were related to him.

He told Ron that they had been wanting to deny it for more than a decade.

But Ron had a problem, which was that he was too nervous and cared too much about the views of the others around him.

His biggest weakness is that if he makes a mistake, he loses confidence, and if a ball doesn't hold, he gets upset and throws more.

The Slytherins soon discovered this, and after they could no longer randomly attack the Gryffindor players, they changed their tactics and attacked them with words, which, in fact, didn't help the old players at all.

Harry, for example, of course, has been used to hearing them blow cowhide for over four years. So words like, "Hey, Potter, I heard Warrington swear to knock you off the broom on Saturday" wouldn't scare him at all, just make him laugh.

And he'd say, "Warrington's got a bad lead, and I'd be more worried if he was going to hit the guy next to me. ”

Also, laughing back out loud bores those who intimidate him.

But Ron did not experience this ruthless offense of insult, cynicism and intimidation when some seventh grade Slytherin students whispered to him in the hallway, "Have you booked a bed at the school hospital, Weasley? ”

Instead of laughing, he looked a little green.

And Malfoy and others imitated Ron's bad behavior when he missed a ghost flying ball, hit the ground directly, and a few times before, Ron's ears were red, his hands trembled, and anything on his hand fell off.

In short, the busy month of October ended in torrential winds and torrential rain and November arrived.

The weather is freezing iron with a layer of frost every morning and cold winds cutting hands and cheeks.

The sky and the ceiling of the auditorium turned pale blue and grey, and the mountains around Hogwarts wore snow caps.

Temperatures in the castle have dropped so much that many students wear thick dragon leather gloves while the classroom rests in the corridor.

Early in the morning on the day of the competition, the weather was clear and cold, and Ron entered his most tense phase.

That morning, Ron was sitting in his own bed, staring at his pale face, sweaty, as if a long time ago he had been caught by his own snotlout, except that he didn't really spit out his snotlout.

Faced with the encouragement of Ivan, Harry, Hermione and others, he just nodded his head constantly.

“Ron, are you okay? ”

Ron nodded, but didn't speak.

“Don't be too nervous, you just have to show your performance during training. ”

Ron nodded again, staring at the asterisk in his hand.

“You need some breakfast! ”

Ron nodded, his body stood stiff and followed them out.

A few people looked at each other, and this state of affairs was not possible, and one could only hope that he would perform better once he was on the field.

As they walked into the auditorium, the people inside were filling up quickly, speaking louder than usual, and the atmosphere was warmer.

As they walked past the Slytherin table, they heard a noise.

There, almost everyone wore a crowned silver badge outside the silver-green scarf and hat.

“What's on those badges?” Harry asked puzzled.

“I don't know, I can't see clearly, it's probably imitating what we did before. Come on, don't stand here.” Hermione said.

In the previous year, during the Griffindor showdown against Slytherins, Ivan, Hermione and Sirius produced nearly a thousand badges and slogans free of charge to students at Griffindor, Hedgepach and Ravenclaw College, as well as hot air balloons and promotional posters floating off the field, making the entire venue the home of the Griffindor team impressive.

Slytherins had lost momentum at the time.

They were warmly welcomed at the table in Gryffindor, where everyone was a scarf and hat between gold and red.

Angelina asked them to place the crossbow and the star picker in the center of the long table, and all three brooms were clearly visible.

This undoubtedly put a lot of pressure on Slytherin, but not only did it not cheer Ron up, it seemed to have taken away his last bit of morale.

He sat on the nearest stool, as if it were his slice of rice in front of him.

“I must be crazy to do this!” He whispered in a dull voice, "Crazy! ”

“Don't be ridiculous.” Harry harshly said, handing him some cereal, "You're fine, nervous is normal. ”

“No, I'm a loser!” Ron said, "I'm useless, I can't play ball at all. What was I thinking? ”

“Don't be discouraged,” Harry said firmly, "the ball you saved with your feet that day, even Fred and George said wonderfully. ”

Ron looked painfully at Harry and his eyes turned to those who were cheering.

“It was an accident!” He said in a pitiful voice, saying what was in his heart and what was actually happening., "It hit itself, and I slipped off the broom, and you didn't see it, and I was thinking about climbing up, and I happened to kick a ghost flying ball. ”

“Oh!” Harry quickly recovered from the accident, “A few more accidents like this and we'll win, won't we? ”

“Yeah, Ron, you can do it, you're technically fine! ”

Ivan, Hermione and Ginny sat across from each other wearing scarves and gloves.

On top of Hermione and Ginny's clothes, there's also a rose knot.
