Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 1005: Fifty-fourth Choice

Sirius just mentioned that there's a lot of magic left over from Grindelwald on this land, so be careful.

A dozen seconds later, they met one, and it looks like Grindelwald was really active in the area, leaving a lot of trace.

But what's the use of this magic in front of you? Why is there a Viking ship and so many arches? What's the point?

Looking at the mist in front of you, looking back at what Harry had just said, Ivan speculated on an answer.

He thinks it's possible to get them into that special building on a warship through one of these doors.

It could have been the secret base of Greendward, and now it is being used by Voldemort for secrecy and security as a place for him to divide his soul and build new artifacts, where the dying Keresis is now waiting for rescue.

Things seemed simple, entering the right arch, defeating Voldemort and Evil God statues, and rescuing Keresis.

But the number of arches is too high, and Ivan can't see the difference.

Choosing the right arch from it is really hard and almost impossible!

“Yes, yes, the Gate of Valhalla!” Dumbledore's face revealed a more interested divine colour, carefully measuring these arches, bright lights flashing in blue eyes, "we choose carefully, only one door leads to where we are going. ”

“What happens if we go in the wrong door? ”

“The other doors correspond to the other shore, Alastair, and we will meet death and reach the land of the dead.” Dumbledore calmly said, as if talking about an insignificant matter, "only one door will reach the place of glory, the choice of life or death, with only a fifty-fourth chance. ”

“Fifty-fourth?!” Harry, Sirius and Moody looked at Dumbledore with amazement.

They silently counted the arches that did appear to be as many as fifty-four.

“The magic is not complete, the difficulty has diminished, and there are five hundred and forty true Valhalla gates.” Dumbledore said, "I didn't expect him to leave such an interesting magic here, very much in line with the ancient traditions of the area, he gave us the opportunity to choose and now it's in our hands! ”

“Sounds great!” Moody said in a disdainful tone, "it's that guy's style. ”

As Dumbledore said and as Ivan speculated, Greendward left such a magic in this rare spot, entering the right door, they would arrive at the building that Harry had just seen and continue to rescue, but once they had made the wrong choice, they would die instantly, with only a fifty-fourth chance.

And from Dumbledore's point of view, this is a less difficult version, just one tenth of the complete magic.

Voldemort can let the victims try one at a time until they break the magic, but they can't.

There were not so many victims, and Keresis was badly wounded, leaving them no time to break the magic.

Even if a vampire's vitality is far beyond normal, it's hard to die, but that depends on who his opponent is.

Harry made it clear that Voldemort's new Horcrux, the terrible evil god in that statue, wanted to eat him on his own initiative.

Don't you think so many meat sacrifices don't suit the taste and want to start eating the living?!

“Harry, do you remember where you saw the Viking ship?” Dumbledore asked softly, "is where the battleships correspond to the moon and the golden gates, and I think they are the same. ”

Harry woke them from their dreams, less than ten minutes before they arrived, and the position of the moon hasn't changed much.

But there is a premise here that the building is also here, otherwise there is no point in contrasting.

Dumbledore obviously thinks so, and Ivan feels the magic around him, and he finds some traces.

So the building Harry saw was superimposed over the space in front of him, beyond the magic imagined...

It's like a seamless stretch spell, the simplest application of space magic, but it's already very difficult magic.

The use of a seamless stretch spell can multiply a fixed space by countless times, but the appearance doesn't seem to have changed, so it's only in Ivan's bag that so many things can be loaded, and Mr. Weasley's modified car can be loaded with so many people.

This is the simplest space magic, trying to create a perfectly stacked space in real space, much harder than using a seamless stretching spell on a fixed object, so impossible to complete, you can deduce Grindelwald's strength simply by standing out here with the information.

Dumbledore still hadn't seen Harry and was still looking at an arch of mist in front of him.

Harry is also a little afraid to see him now, after that confrontation.

Afraid he couldn't help himself, he started attacking the headmaster, and the hatred was horrible.

“Looks like this position!” Harry hesitated for a long time, looked up at the moon, looked at the Viking warship again, pointing in one direction with uncertainty, corresponding to an area, and hastily added, "but I was not sure that I had only seen the outline of the ship from afar.

Though not long before the terrible nightmare ended, Harry felt his memory was fading rapidly.

He could not be certain, nor could he be so hasty, that it was almost a choice between life and death.

Although disgusted, he forced himself to try to remember.

But no matter how hard I push, I can only think of some blurry images.

After all, in his dreams, he was just a statue, not in a very good position, and he had limited visibility.

Not to mention the lack of light in that room except for the hazy moonlight.

And it doesn't make any sense, because there are so many arches made up of blue mist that they make him confused.

“Too risky, Dumbledore, too risky, we can't go in there! Moody immediately said," We can't even be sure which door is right, and any one is possible, and if this is a Voldemort plot, we could all be buried here, and he wouldn't even have to do it. ”

The madman's fears do make sense, and it could indeed be a conspiracy.

Voldemort deliberately lured them here through Harry, using the magic left by Grindelwald to kill them.

Dumbledore did not speak, and he carefully measured the area Harry was referring to, as if he were identifying the choice.

Once again, the full moon in the sky is covered by clouds, the sound of speech gradually calms down, and fear gradually increases in silence.

Ivan, Harry, Sirius and Moody all looked at Dumbledore and waited for his choice.

Tension and anxiety pervade everyone's mind, and once they enter the wrong door, they die instantly, and everyone thinks about it.

No one fears death in the place, but that does not mean that they are willing to die so unclear and meaningless.
