Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 1188: Unclean Square Pillar

The exit of the secret passage is situated on a semi-circular stone platform protruding high above the wall, standing here with a glimpse below.

The whole room is huge with murals all over the surrounding walls and wizards all beneath.

Three giant obelisks stand in a central position, forming a triangle.

The three pillars are the Sun, the Moon and the Stars.

Without Lavier's introduction, Ivan can identify it.

It is easy to recognize because the sun, moon and star markers are carved at the top of each of the three pillars.

They are almost parallel to Ivan's current height and can be seen without much effort.

These three eye-catching markings are made of green jade. Under the illustration of the torch, the jade flashes a strange glow that no one can ignore. Just a glance can't help but be intoxicated. The wizards who have just entered this secret room, like Evan, are staring at these three markings...

It is undeniable that, backed by the Jade Mark, the three giant square-tipped tablets are full of quaint, mysterious and spectacular aura.

But Ivan's eyes moved down onto the obelisk, and his first feeling was uncomfortable.

The uncomfortable part is not some strange look, but the color of all the rocks that build the obelisk.

“You didn't tell me before that the three obelisks were red and black!” Ivan said to Lavier.

“Oh, I don't think that's noteworthy. Although this color of rock is rare in Egypt, it's not too hard for Rameses II to get a few of these rocks.” Rawiye replied, seemingly surprised why Ivan asked, "What's wrong? Is there something wrong? ”

Ivan shook his head, and he couldn't say what was wrong, it just felt uncomfortable.

The main rock of the three obelisks in front of us is not a solid color, but a strange color between the red and black phases.

By and large, there is more black, which seems to be the texture of the rock itself, with less red spots on it.

Moreover, spots vary in size and are very unevenly distributed.

Ivan doesn't know why this is happening. Generally speaking, this rock is inferior and will not be used to build the obelisk.

Not to mention this important cornerstone in the ruins of the sun...

Ancient Egyptian wizards are picky, and even pure black obsidian stones will not be used to construct square-stones that demonstrate merit and rights.

Normally, they use golden yellow, which is the most sacred color.

Strange colors, that's what Ivan thinks these three obelisks are unusual about.

The ancient Egyptian wizards have set this stone up here as a pointy tablet, surely useful, unlikely to be trendy, or simply because of the unique aesthetics of the builders, not to say that they don't understand art, but certainly not so avant-garde and abstract.

As elsewhere, in ancient Egyptian magical civilization, hybrid colors tend to herald uncleanness!

“Unclean?” Looking at the obelisk, Ivan whispered, "Is it contaminated? ”

Also, where he feels uncomfortable, the red and black spots on the obelisk appear to be the color of blood clotting.

Blood, pointy tablets contaminated with blood, symbols of uncleanness!

This is not a good idea, and the more he looks at these three obelisks, the weirder he feels.

Even with it, the whole secret room makes people feel uncomfortable.

Ivan sucked his nose hard and followed Lavier down.

People are everywhere under the room, and more than 200 wizards are crowded in front of the obelisk.

Most of them are wizards who are proficient in alchemy and are trying to see what's on these three pointy tablets.

Some wizards wave their wands at each other's pointy tablets, recite words, and do not know what magic they are using.

Others keep recording what's on the parchment they carry, more people are arguing, and the other party's pointer points.

“Rawiye, Ivan, here!” The sound of the pendulum rang in the crowd.

He and four other hired alchemists were standing in front of the sun's steeple, with three fairies beside him.

“You went to the temple of God!” He said, "Well, what do you got? ”

“There's nothing special about it, it just feels spectacular.” Ivan replied, "The idols of the gods are beyond my imagination. ”

“Yeah, this relic is beyond everyone's imagination!” The clock nodded and seemed somewhat disappointed that Evan had found nothing, "the solar relics, of both scale and rank, were the largest of the ancient magical relics ever discovered, I believe, the most important temples and palaces built by Rameses II. ”

“Absolutely, there must be plenty of treasures here!” Another fairy said.

His words were echoed by other fairies and echoed.

“Countless amounts of wealth are ours if we can break the damned curse or the alchemy organ in front of us. ”

“It's just a matter of time! ”

“First of all, according to the previous agreement, whose excavation team found what belonged to whom, no other team was allowed to rob. ”

“Of course, it has to be!” The pendulum said, turning around and looking enthusiastically at Evan, "Evan, come to me and take a look at this obelisk and see if you can find anything from it. That's your strong point. ”

There seems to be a pact between the fairies that divides the treasures that have not yet been found.

The fairies are not as united and competitive as the wizards imagine.

“Oh, my God, Pendulum, isn't this kid the alchemist you hired?!” A dark fairy deliberately shouted in an exaggerated tone, unwillingly measuring Ivan, "I thought he was an intern on your team! ”

“Evan is the alchemist I hired. Is that a problem, Ralph?” The pendulum asked, looking vigilantly at each other.

“Problem? Are you trying to say he understands alchemy?!” LaFleur's fairy said out loud, "This is the biggest joke I've heard this year, can't you find a better alchemist? Still not willing to pay? ”

“I also think this kid is too young to be in school, right?” Another fairy objectively said.

“Yes, I am a Hogwarts student and can start O.W.LS next year!” Ivan said he had no intention of explaining anything.

He stood two steps above him in the position just before the pendulum and carefully observed the Sun's pointed tablet in front of him.

Not to mention the uncomfortable colour, the Sun Apex is the tallest of the three Apex and the simplest in style.

The entire obelisk is a conical pillar engraved with hieroglyphics and ancient magic.

Notably, the center position of each side is separated by a vertically upward columnar red crystal.

Above the red crystal is connected to the solar marker made of jade stone, which extends below to the ground.

Strange, Ivan just missed it. Why is this cylindrical red crystal embedded on the obelisk?

This is another anomaly, as well as the red and black spots on the obelisk...
