Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 1439: Aragok's Death

Since the failure of the plan to become a girl, many things have changed.

First, Malfoy became more vigilant, and now it's almost impossible to follow him to his home, even to become a cuter girl.

Secondly, Harry and Ron's mental state became even more devastated.

Ron's spiritual tension, in addition to the impact of that failed plan, could be the effect of his increasingly poor relationship with Lavender, who is now often hiding from Lavender or arguing with her.

Of course, the forthcoming Phantom Exam did little to his mental tension.

Ivan now frequently sees Ron holding a booklet published by the Ministry of Magic, Common Mistakes in Phantom Formation and How to Avoid Them, where he bows his head and looks forward to finding something on it that will increase the power of his phantom formations.

He's taking some more compound soup from Ivan, saying it's to relieve tension. As for why compound tonic relieves tension, Ivan didn't ask much, he thought it should be a new world he wouldn't want to know about...

Harry had no emotional disputes, he didn't have to consider the Phantom Exam for the time being, and he didn't need compound toner to relieve the stress, but he had to accept reality and focus his main energies on Inspirational Slughorn after the last plan failed.

Speaking of Inspiring Slughorn, Ivan and Harry have recently given each other a number of gifts.

Everything from cheap snacks to precious magic alchemy items and magic materials should be here.

Slughorn accepts it all happily, never refuses it, but whenever they mention that memory or reveal that seedling, he quickly shifts the subject, or avoids it directly, turns his face and escapes faster than Evan has ever seen before.

So the so-called leopard jumps away like Ray and Leopard, and it's not easy to get anything from this sly “old seal”.

He must have known what Ivan and Harry were going to do, but he wasn't prepared to hand over that hidden memory for decades.

Even Ivan, who is mentally prepared for this, has to admit that this is a difficult task.

Sometimes he even wonders if Slughorn was deliberately rubbing his and Harry's gifts.

Because his intention to do so was really too obvious.

After the 87th failure, Ivan had to follow a successful plan in his original book, hoping it would succeed, and for the sake of safety, he felt that Aragok's body was still being used, which was a rare piece of magic material.

As a master of magic, Slughorn can't be uninterested in it.

To this end, Ivant has asked Hagrid several times to confirm Aragok's physical condition.

That morning, they finally received a note from Hagrid about Aragok's death.

After so long, this old spider finally ended its long life, some time earlier than originally documented, which probably had a lot to do with Ivan's previous torment in his lair.

Hagrid has said on more than one occasion that Aragok is saddened by the destruction of his descendants and that it has always condemned the students in the castle.

The note was brought to you by Hedwig, with cluttered handwriting and large ink stains on the paper, difficult to recognize.

Dear Evan, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Elaine:

Aragok died last night.

Evan, you've seen him, you know how special he is, and you've asked him so warmly and so many times at the last moment of his life about his health, and you've done so much for him, and thank you for your help. In fact, Aragok was very impressed with you, too, and he didn't forget you until the last minute, unfortunately, because you were too busy to come and see him.

And Harry, Ron, Hermione, Elaine, I know you're gonna love it, and you've mentioned it so many times. Especially Elaine, you're always so interested and loving in Aragoch, Little Glop, and all the other cute animals I keep.

If I may, I'd like you to come to the funeral tonight, which means a lot to me.

I intend to hold a funeral at dusk, which is his favorite time of the day. I know you're not allowed to come out that late, but you can use invisible clothes or something. I didn't want to ask for it, but I couldn't face it alone.

Hagrid!

“That's the whole story!” Harry reads the note, hands it to Evan, and asks, "What are you going to do? ”

“Hmm...” Ivan did not answer, recalling his plan to please Slughorn with Aragok.

“He's crazy!” Next to him, Ron immediately said violently, "Tell us to cry against that horrible, Mawthorne spider! ”

“Not only that.” Hermione agrees, taking notes from Ivan, "he wants us to leave the castle at night, knowing that the security measures are a million times tighter, how much trouble it will take to get caught! You're right, he could be crazy. ”

“But we've seen him at night before.” Harry said.

“Yes, but for this kind of thing?” We took a lot of risks for Hagrid, "Hermione said," but after all... Alagok is dead and we haven't seen him in our lives, much less have any feelings for him. ”

“I'd like to see it!” Elaine said, "The world's largest eight-eyed giant spider sounds amazing. ”

“Sounds creepy.” Ron corrected, “I'm not going to go anyway, I haven't seen Aragok, but I've seen other octave spiders, and it should be several times their size, and I think it would make Hagrid feel much better if it died. ”

Hermione did not continue to express her opinion, but apparently did not want to go on her face, for this detention was too worthless.

Harry hesitated and looked down at the note that eventually came back into his hands.

Staring at the ink stains all over the paper, it was obvious that a large drop of tears had fallen on the parchment.

“I'm going to go check it out, you know, Aragok is a rare potion material.” Ivan finally said at his discretion, "Remember? The venom of the octave spider is very precious and very expensive, especially for Aragoch, the world's largest octave spider, and I intend to go to the funeral and collect some by the way, which can be given to Slughorn as a gift. ”

“For Slughorn?!” Everyone looked at Evan with surprise.

“Yeah, I actually suggest inviting him to collect in person, which is better than what we gave him.” Harry, we're going to invite him later, and if we can, we're going to need a little more luck to touch him, "Ivan said. ”
