Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 1442: Successful Invitations

The three quietly left the castle in a rich twilight with a pleasant green grass scent in the fresh air.

Harry didn't go directly to Hagrid, and after walking out of the castle gate, he suddenly said he wanted to walk into the garden on the way.

“Don't go to Hagrid yet, I don't know why, it's that kind of impulse.” Harry said.

“Impulse? Are you okay with that?” Elaine looks at him skeptically, "this time to go to the garden? ”

“Should be fine, I can feel good things happening at the garden at this time.” Harry said.

“Come on, Elaine, Harry's the luckiest guy right now, and we're gonna follow his lead.” Evan said, "Don't believe in reason, it's unreliable. ”

Sometimes, for example, in this situation, Harry feels more reliable than any rational analysis.

So the three of them changed their direction and headed towards the garden.

And if not, when they got there, they found Professor Slughorn talking to Professor Sprout.

Elaine, who was somewhat skeptical, looked at Slughorn with surprise and turned around to look at Harry.

“You know he's here? Prophecy?” She asked in a low voice that the three of them were hiding behind a low stone wall.

“No, it's the feeling!” Harry wasn't surprised to say that.

“That's the power of luck.” Ivan sighed low and listened to Slughorn and Professor Sprout.

“Thank you so much for your trouble, Pomona. Slughorn politely said," Most authorities believe the drug works best at dusk. ”

“Oh, I agree very much with that.” Sprout said enthusiastically, "Is that enough? ”

“Enough, enough!” Slughorn thanked him for hugging the leaves, "each of my third-grade students could split a few pieces, leaving some to prevent overcooking. Well, good night and thanks again! ”

Professor Sprout walked toward the heated house at dusk, and Slughorn stepped toward where Evan, Harry and Elaine were.

“Now!” Harry said a sentence and went straight out, "Good evening, Professor. ”

“My God, Harry, you scared me.” Slughorn stopped suddenly, looked at him vigilantly, and then his eyes shifted to Evan and Elaine in the back, "God, how did you get out of the castle? ”

“I think Felch forgot to lock the door.” Harry was pleased to say that he was pleased to see Slughorn frowning.

“Really? I'm going to expose that person to the principal, who, in my opinion, cares more about garbage than about the safety of teachers and students. But why are you three here? ”

“is to come out to Aragok's funeral.” Elaine replied.

“Who's Aragok?” Slughorn puzzled.

“A big spider. ”

Slughorn's expression was even more puzzling in response to Elaine's answer.

“It's actually about Hagrid, Professor.” Harry said, "He's upset. You're not gonna tell anybody, are you, professor? We don't want to cause him any trouble..."

“Yes, it's a secret, and we promised Hagrid we'd keep it a secret.” Ivan added.

“A secret?” Slughorn's curiosity was obviously hooked up, and he shouted, "I can't guarantee his confidentiality, but I know Dumbledore has no doubt about Hagrid, so I'm sure Hagrid won't do too much...”

“It was the eight-eyed giant spider, known as the Aragok spider, Hagrid had been raising for years. It lives in the woods and talks and does a lot of things...”

“Oh, I've heard of those octave spiders, too.” Slughorn looked at Hessen's woods and said softly, "Are they living in the woods? ”

“Yes, we've cleared it before, and octave spider venom is a precious potion material.” Ivan said.

“Very precious magic material, very expensive on the market to configure…” Slagho stopped, "or the spider called Aragok, what's wrong with it? ”

“He died last night, and Hagrid was very sad, and he wanted to be buried with him, and the three of us came out to attend his funeral. ”

“Oh, touching, touching.” Slughorn was distracted to say that his eyes were pulling down and staring at the lights of Hagrid's cabin in the distance.

“You know, Professor, Aragok was Hagrid's first eight-eyed giant spider and the longest living, largest eight-eyed spider in the world.” Ivan said, "I heard that the longer the octacular spider lived as a potion material, the more precious its venom was. ”

“Yes, you're right, Evan. Slughorn enthusiastically said," The venom of the octave spider is very precious. The bigger the spider, the longer it survives, the more precious it is. If the animal dies, the venom may not have dried yet. Now is the best time to collect it. Do you want to collect it? Can the three of you? ”

“Not sure, after all, it's the first time you've collected venom from a spider that big, and it would be great if you could go and coach us on the spot.” Evan said, "After all, it's better not to waste something so precious. Professor, will you help us? ”

“I can go.” Slughorn immediately promised, as if he didn't feel comfortable like this, and said positively, "Of course, if Hagrid is unhappy, I don't mean to be rude, but if there's a way to get some, we'd better not waste this opportunity... you know, if that octopussy spider is as big as you say it is, Evan, then I'm afraid its venom is more precious than I imagined. ”

“Well, we shouldn't miss it.” Slughorn went on to say, more like talking to himself, "Not collecting seems too wasteful, maybe a pint can be worth hundreds of gallons, to be honest, I'm not well paid...”

After a while, seeing that he had not responded, Ivan asked again, "Professor, would you like to go to Aragok's funeral and help us along the way? ”

“I bet Hagrid would be happy if you wanted to go and send Aragok more solemnly!” Harry followed.

“Well, ah, yes, of course I do.” Slughorn says his eyes are shining now, "Okay, Ivan, Harry, Elaine, you guys wait a minute, I'll bring you a bottle or two of wine to meet you down there, and we'll send it to the poor bastard, um, after he's buried. I'm going to change my tie. This one is a little too fancy..."

He rushed back to the castle, and Ivan, Harry and Elaine snuck up to Hagrid.

“Incredibly, we succeeded, and he accepted our invitation.” Harry thought about it and said, "But how do I feel about it being natural? ”

“That's because you have the help of a blister, which is incredible to us.” Ivan said.
