Lilia frowns and waits for the continuation of Chris' words. Chris smiled faintly, staring at Lilia.

"I still believe that it is best for you to be with Your Highness."

Lilia opens her eyes wide and Chris laughs as she creaks strangely.

"Were you thinking about that?

If we squeeze that out somehow, Chris nods and affirms.

"I thought that would be best for this country."

- Oh, I see. Is Chris like this......

Sakura's convincing voice.

- What do you mean?

- Maybe, but. Chris's thoughts......

I left Sakura's words as they were to ask Chris.

"Chris, you put your country first. I don't think about personal feelings, I just think about the future of the country."

Chris glances. The expression told the story that the word was correct now.

"That's right, I thought you'd understand soon enough."

Lilia manages to recreate her smile in case her cheeks are going to pull. I noticed it was Sakura, so it's very painful.

- Quickly.

- Oh, haha...

"I don't know if others do. But for me, it is the future of this country that needs to be considered. It doesn't matter if you're clear about personal feelings."

Extreme idea, I think. But in a way, it's probably the most aristocratic way of thinking. Just for the future of this country. If so, use everything. That's how Chris thinks.

"So I cannot cooperate with Master Liliane on this matter. This will change His Highness's mind, and Master Liliane will change her mind, and if the two of you walk together, let us say the best result."

Chris is the opposite of the previous Lilia. Previously Lilia wields the perimeter for herself, and Chris uses the perimeter for the country. But strangely, I was not offended. I have some doubts, though.

"Chris. I'd like to hear it."

"Yes, what is it"

"If it's for the country, I'm going to use it, but it's not. Then there will be more ways. Even now, His Highness doesn't seem to grasp Tina. I don't know how many opportunities you have to tell me."

Pointing that out, Chris smiled powerlessly.

"Right. You should have."

"Then why?

You know what I mean.

Chris loosened his expression. The look on Chris's face when we're alone, seen outside the school. Chris' face was there to show when there was nothing left to tie him up.

"As much as I think about floating in aristocratic society today, I know best. So I don't force people to. So all I have to do is help someone or leave them alone."

And Chris laughed with pleasure.

"I don't think we should even use it as a friend. I'm not going to let a marriage I don't want be Lilia. All I'm saying is, I don't think I'm actually going to move that far just because I think it's the best."

Does that mean prioritizing the emotions of friends over the future of the country? Lilia soothed her expression while relieving her, she said.

"Thank you, Chris"

"It's not for you. I just don't want to regret it."

Still, that's enough. Chris may not be on his side. But it will never be an enemy. That just makes me honestly happy.

"Anyway! That's what I'm talking about, so I'm not cooperating with you. Good luck yourself."

"Right. You seem to hate Tina."

"How do you know?"

"If you look, you'll see."

Chris had been staring at Lilia for a while, but eventually sighed out of sight.

"If I make friends up to that kid, I won't be able to do anything anymore. So I won't admit it."

And Chris goes on.

"Assuming that child and His Highness were bonded. The future of this country will be dark. What are you going to do when the baroness who runs the inn is the Queen? Are you going to crush the country?

I'm going to say that or I'm going to say that, but that's actually it. Perhaps Tina is having trouble dealing with the Prince because she knows that too.

"What if you were engaged?

When Lilia says so with a light mouth,

"Oh. Did you know?

"Huh?"

- Huh?

To Chris' unexpected and seemingly unexpected voice, Lilia's thoughts stopped and Sakura uttered a dumb voice. If Sakura was here, she might have looked at each other. Chris gave a reluctant look when he said something extra, realizing that Lilia was meant to be light mouthed from that reaction.

"A formal decision, that's not to say. That's what we're talking about."

"Is that okay with you?

"I told you. He said if it's for the future of the country, he doesn't care about personal feelings. I don't mean to take care of my emotions."

Chris laughed lusciously at Lilia.

"Hey, Lilia. Stand on top of people, more luxurious than people. Don't you think it's irresponsible for us to get the happiness of a crowd like that?

Is that what underlies Chris's idea? Lilia glared and narrowed her eyes.

"That's amazing. I can't break that far."

"Nothing good. This is my way of thinking, so I'm not going to push Lilia. But, well, I'm glad you remembered that in some ways."

He laughed lightly, and at the next moment he was tightening his expression.

"Thank you very much, Master Liliane."

That's what I'm saying, I'm going to bow my head. Lilia sighed lonely and waved that she wouldn't mind.

I even use it for my country. I never realized Chris had that idea before.

- It might be supported by people living in this country. But I don't think I want Lilia to.

- Really?

- I want you to take good care of yourself. So you don't have to imitate it.

Lilia nodded at Sakura's words. Most of all, I didn't think I could imitate it from the beginning. I just don't think I can think like Chris.

- Lilia by the way. It's time to come.

To Sakura's voice, Lilia said to me that she would have. I almost forgot about it in my conversation with Chris, but I guess it's time for Alisa to come back. Throwing his gaze at Chris, Chris nodded, but didn't try to move.

"I will be with you. Of course I won't disturb you. I'm not trying to turn you against the enemy."

I nodded, even though I shrugged my eyebrows in surprise, okay.
