Haunted Duke’s Daughter

Foam Dreams (Part II)

Sakura was on the side of the school gate. He keeps his back at the school gate and sits down with his knees. Lilia stood by that side without saying anything.

"Sakura"

When Lilia called, Sakura looked up. There are still tears left, but now, I don't think I'm crying anymore. Admitting Lilia's appearance, she grinned weakly.

"I'm sorry, Lilia. Well, hey...... Yeah, sorry."

A very thin voice. You can't put your feelings into words, you clogged your words, leaned down and remained silent. Lilia sighs small and lowers her hips next to it. When he stroked Sakura's head, he looked up as if surprised.

"Because you don't have to hurry. I'll wait for you until you calm down."

"Mmm...... Thanks. It's good to have Lilia with us."

"Though it's hard for me to babysit"

"It's awful."

Sakura makes a small laugh. Apparently not enough for Lilia to worry about. However, still, Lilia continued to stroke her head all the way until Sakura settled in, as she became just a little worried.

At last, Lilia was guided in front of a building. surrounding, perhaps a building that is not very different from a private house. But if Sakura stares at the house, Lilia will know where it is.

Sakura says nothing. But the connected hand was gripped hard. Sakura's nervousness comes through its hands. As Lilia shook her hand back, Sakura shuddered slightly and looked back at Lilia. Lilia smiled bitterly in the eyes like an abandoned puppy.

"Don't worry, I'll stay with you."

"Yeah...... Absolutely, right?

When Lilia nods, Sakura turns back to the house. I rang my throat small and opened the gate. Pass the garden, which is not so big, and continue and touch the door with your hands. One breath down, then I opened the door.

As soon as I entered, there was a hallway, and I could hear the water flowing small through the back door. Since you can also hear light objects touching each other, is it probably a wash?

"Sakura"

As Lilia urged, Sakura nodded small.

"Ha, I'm home..."

Fine, small voice. Lilia smiled bitterly and shook her head.

I can't hear you.

"Right... I'm home!"

As soon as Sakura told him to scream, he could not hear the water. The sound of someone walking in continues, and the door opens immediately. A dark-haired, still looking young woman tilted her neck.

"Oh, welcome back, Sakura. Is she a friend?

"Yeah...... Friend's, Lilia."

"I knew it! Nice to meet you, Mr. Lilia. I'm Sakura's mother. Nice to meet you."

Similar to Sakura, a smile with blossoming flowers. Lilia also meets lightly, thinking she's still a parent and child. To be honest, Sakura was more of a concern than Sakura's mother. I still cry so much in my eyes. I stuck my mouth in Sakura's ear thinking it would be hard to talk to Lilia when she was here.

"Because I'm waiting outside. Don't worry, I'll be right there."

"Ah...... Mmm..."

Sakura nods over and over again. Lilia laughed small and lowered her head to the woman again and stepped out the door where she came in. Shortly after quietly closing the door,

"Mother!"

"Hmm? What's wrong, Sakura? I cried so much."

A voice heard from the other side of the door. It would be hugging my mother by now. Lilia closed her eyes, also leaning against the door.

After a while, the door to the house opened again. Sakura, whose eyes turned bright red, looked terrified, checking Lilia's appearance and sighing in relief. I was wondering if he might be gone.

"Enough?

Lilia listened and Sakura nodded.

"Yeah. Thanks, Lilia"

"I didn't do anything to thank you."

Sakura will make the call, so follow it and enter the house. My mother had already disappeared, but the back door remained open. I hear a nose song from the back. It's the same song that Sakura mumbles so often. I go inside, rounding my eyes to see if it resembles me to this point.

"Ah, Lilia. Take off your shoes."

"Huh? Oh, that's how it works"

Nod like you're good at it, take off your shoes. The wood floor is a little cold, limp and pleasant. Sakura took me straight into the back room.

Perhaps the kitchen. It was a room lined with many things I had never seen before. There are also large boxes that exceed a person's back length, boxes that will only allow small objects to be put in, shelves provided on walls, etc. I have no idea what the use is. There was also a table, where cookies and other treats were lined up.

"There you are, Lilia. Sit there."

"Chan......"

Has it ever been properly called? I just don't feel so bad about why. Is this the character?

"Let's sit down, Lilia."

Sakura with a slightly mean grin. As Lilia glanced half-eyed, Sakura quickly turned away.

"Totally......"

With a small sigh, I sit in the seat indicated to my mother. Next to it sat Sakura, and her mother across from Sakura.

"It's a stockpile, but eat it if you like."

That's what I'm going to say, I'm going to recommend cookies. Lilia gratefully took one of those. I tried to put it in my mouth and accidentally glanced at it. It's a delicious dish that draws a line from the cookies I've eaten before. Seeing that look on Lilia's face, Sakura laughed with pleasure.

"Cookies over here, they're delicious, aren't they? There are other things to eat. Look, this, this, this!

"Okay, so you don't have to take it at once."

Lilia sighed as Sakura mounted more and more cookies on the small plate. Sakura's mother looked kindly at the two

When it came to what we were talking about afterwards, it was mostly about sweets and things we liked. Surprisingly, cookies seem to be handmade by Sakura's mother. Cooking is my hobby.

"Maybe Sakura can cook too?

"Yeah. I like to make sweets. 'Cause I can make whatever I want."

"Heh... People don't look like they do."

"What does that mean?

I thought Sakura would answer that I prefer to eat to make. To be honest with you, Sakura was stuck in words and turned away. I can see from that attitude that Lilia's speculation is not wrong either. As Lilia looked at Sakura with suspicion, Sakura's mother taught her with a bitter smile.

"Sakura started cooking because she wants to eat something delicious. That's why Lilia's speculation isn't wrong."

"Heh..."

I see. That sounds sarcastic. Sakura pointed her lips when Lilia just nodded convinced.

"Better than not."

Sakura inflating cheeks. Lilia reaches out and puts both of those cheeks on. The air leaked out of my mouth.

"I didn't say it was bad. That's not a good reason. I'd love to try it too."

"Heh? Oh, yeah...... Okay."

You didn't think it would be affirmed, Sakura opened her mouth like a shudder for a moment, then hung like a light. I know it's simple, but I'm not lying. As I stroked Sakura's head as it was, I gladly loosened my cheek.

Lilia and Sakura, and her three Sakura mothers, continue to talk about no other love. Time flew quickly, and if you noticed, the sunset was plugged in through the window.

"I'm home."

I hear voices from the front door. And it was the young man who showed up. I looked at Sakura, and, oh, I broke my face with joy.

"Welcome back, Father"

"I'm home, Sakura. It's unusual for Sakura to be here. How about a bath together?

"Yeah. Fine."

"Heh, I know. Something tells me no, yes... What?"

Sakura's father opened his eyes in amazement and was stunned. That seems to be the same for my mother, whose eyes have been rounded and hardened. Sakura's parents were about to solidify, but eventually my father smiled happily, but shook his head.

"No, that's fine. I'm glad to hear that. I'm going to be too happy to do something about it."

"You're exaggerating."

Sakura laughs, and so does my father.

"Then I'll give it to you! Sit down, sit down!

"No, that's right, you have friends too, I'm shy..."

"Just sit down."

"Oh, yes."

I don't understand the power relationship between these two. In front of Lilia watching in silence, Sakura embraced her kneeling father. Then my mother hugs those two. And

"Father, you smell like sweat"

"You, that won't be there..."

When my father dropped his shoulder and drowned, he took a bath, and left the room. My mother follows me. The remaining sakura remained silent for a while,

"Sakura, I'll eat all the cookies."

"Oh, wait! I'll eat too!

I came back to my seat like I panicked.

When Sakura's father came back, he was supposed to have dinner. The ones on the table are curry rice. It is also topped with melted cheese. For Lilia, curry rice was just that image of a delicious dish, so I was surprised that the cheese was on it.

"Wow! It's a cheese curry!

"Hehe. I thought you might like some sakura."

"Yeah! I'll have it!

Sakura takes a bite and loosens her fuzzy cheeks. I was a little surprised by the look on that face. It looks tastier than when I ate curry rice there or Dafu. Maybe it's not just the taste, it's my mother's hand cooking.

"Ha. Sakura looks really delicious. Then I'll take a bite too... Yeah. I knew it was excellent. Yeah. That's my wife! Fantastic!"

"I have a friend of Sakura's, so don't do it."

Sakura's mother sighs as if she was frightened. Apparently, Sakura's character resembles that of my father. You look just like me when I'm eating something delicious.

"Lilia, don't hesitate"

Mother urges me, Lilia takes the spoon too. Have a bite with some cheese.

"Delicious..."

I'm convinced of Sakura's reaction. I wonder if just adding cheese makes it so tasty, but the curry itself seems different from what I've eaten in that world.

It also seems like a simple dish, but it still means it depends on who makes it.

"Delicious, isn't it?

Sakura asked, so Lilia nodded. I'll admit, it's delicious enough to say it's the best dish I've ever eaten.

Sakura smiled happily and went straight back to her meal.

"Well, Sakura, I'll teach you how to cook."

Sudden mother's words. My mother tells Sakura that it hardens.

"Time is limited, so there are up to three types. Think about it and decide."

"Uh, no, uh..."

Sakura is seriously confused. Lilia shrugged her eyebrows in surprise too. Until now, the atmosphere is slightly different.

"This will be our last chance. Sakura, remember to go home."

My father's, kind voice.

Again, no doubt about it. These two are rightly aware of the situation in which Sakura is placed.

"Ah, of... Me, me..."

Sakura seems to have noticed, her voice is trembling. My parents watched my daughter like that in silence.

"Oh, dear."

Sakura's expression creased and distorted.

"I'm sorry I died first. I'm sorry I was unfaithful. I'm sorry I made you sad. I'm sorry I couldn't show up as a bride. Together... Together, to..."

"Fine."

My mother takes a seat and holds Sakura. My father embraced both of them from above, too.

"Sakura is nothing wrong. I hear you've been working hard. Don't lose the temptation, you saved my friend."

"Oh, yeah. Sakura is our pride."

"Ah..."

Sakura's face is messed up with tears. But I'm not going to wipe it.

"Thank you..."

Lilia lowered her eyes softly as she heard the tears of Sakura.

Sakura and her mother are having a conversation in front of the flush. Sakura decided on the dishes to be taught, and now she tries her best to remember. By the way, Lilia hasn't heard what the dish is. Sooner or later, I'll make it over there. Enjoy it.

And Lilia sat opposite Sakura's father.

"In the end, what are you people?

Neither did these parents, but I still just think those Sakura friends were right about the situation. After knowing it, I just thought I was going through my routine for Sakura.

"This is a dream."

My father says. Looking sideways at Sakura.

"This is a dream for us, too. Wake up and we'll have our usual lives ahead of us. Sacramento, life."

…………

"This is a dream. If you wake up, you can't even remember, the world of foam. That's why your goddess of the world taught me everything. Of course, I was half-hearted at first."

"Yes..."

I guess that means they were in this dream world and they still live in Sakura's home world. In the Sakura story, we should have suddenly decided on this one, but no doubt about it. The goddess and I are planning this.

I don't know why. Lilia can't even tell what the goddess thinks. But as far as I can tell from Sakura, I can see that the goddess cares about Sakura. I'm sure it's for Sakura, too.

Maybe he wanted to give his old acquaintances a chance to say goodbye. No matter, it's just a prediction.

With that in mind, Sakura came back. He looks happy, so he seemed to be able to teach well.

"Bye, Lilia. Let's go to my room one last time."

"Sakura's? Fine."

When I saw Sakura's memory, I thought I was just looking at Sakura's room. I don't remember much anymore though.

"Then...... Father, Mother."

Before leaving the room, Sakura looks back. Towards parents.

"Until now, thanks. Thanks for your help."

Sakura smiles and bows her head in tears.

"Yeah. There you go, Sakura"

"I have cancer. Go away."

Two voices. They both smiled, but they were overflowing with tears.

"Mmm...... I'm coming!

Up the stairs, upstairs. Sakura's room, Sakura stood in front of the adorable plated door that said: A very cute plate in the shape of a flower. Really, adorable.

…………

………… Hey, Lilia. If you want to say something, you should say it, okay?

"Don't talk to me because I'm too busy laughing"

"Extra terrible!

At all, Sakura opens the door, complaining.

It's a room with a bookshelf, a study desk, and a bed. Outside the window, filled with wonder and white light, you can't see outside. Leaning her neck, Lilia sat down in bed prompted by the sawdust.

The bookshelves and beds were decorated with stuffed animals. The stuffed animal in the bed is so big, Sakura said, it feels good to hold it and sleep. Again, this is a very, very cute stuffed animal.

…………

"What are you trying to say!?

"Stop. Don't talk to me. I can't take a laugh......!

"It's time to get mad, right?!? Hey!"

It is certainly time for Sakura to persevere. Lilia managed to indulge in the urge to laugh, and now turned to Sakura.

"Have you had enough with your parents? I can wait here, though."

"Huh? Oh, yeah. It's okay now. I'm satisfied. And..."

Sakura walks to the door. And when I opened the door, there was nothing more there.

"Huh..."

White space. Really, nothing. The hallway has even disappeared. White seen from outside the window, too, I guess that's what I mean.

This dream world is almost over. Somehow, I get it.

"Lilia"

They call me by my name, and I see Sakura. Sakura was smiling lightly.

"Thank you for coming with me. I didn't see anyone by myself."

"Yes, I had a good experience, too."

Try stroking the big stuffed animal that is placed on the bed. It's so soft. It's kind of more fluffy than a stuffed animal in Lilia's world.

"That's good, that"

It depends. Sakura's expression is loose. Seeing that look, Lilia said.

"I want to hit you"

"Why!?

"I'm just a little bit tired."

"Terrible"

The usual, the usual exchange. When they both erupted small, they sat side by side in bed.

"Lilia"

"What?"

"Thanks"

………… Welcome. "

Short conversation. That's all. That's all I need. Because you two still have time.

"When you get back, can I buy you Dafu?"

"That's Lillier!

"Stop hugging me when you get excited! A dog! A dog!

"Wahoo!

Bye-bye. Noisy as usual. Pretend you don't notice the tears floating in your sawdust.

Soon afterwards, the dream was over.

And morning in reality. Lilia had her head.

"Why?"

The bed had a big stuffed animal. Definitely a stuffed animal that was in Sakura's room. A dog, a bear, a stuffed animal I'm not sure about. Turning his gaze to Sakura, who was beside him, Sakura shook his head with momentum. Apparently he doesn't even know Sakura.

"Like a reward from the goddess?

"Tell the goddess. He said it was too cheap."

"It's about Lilia, that attitude to the goddess."

"I am. I've seen the gods of your world in my memory, and then I think they're not."

"Haha. I can't deny it."

I shrug my shoulders and stroke the stuffed animal with a dry laugh. Fluffy and slippery. I originally thought there was no reward or anything, so I don't know. Sakura looks happy.

"Lilia for now! Dafu!"

"That's a lot to ruin... After class."

"Wow."

Lilia rose up as she loosened her cheeks to the delightful appearance of Sakura.

"You look in a good mood."

"That's who you are"

"In my dreams, I feel like I've met Sakura. She seemed very well."

"Oh well. I saw it, too. Maybe he's still swinging someone somewhere."

"Hehe...... Right. I can imagine. It's bad for her, though."

"Oh...... Right....... hmm? Who is it?

"Huh? Come on...... Sakura's dear friend, it must have been."
